Steve was our contact and was kind of like the subcontractor. He came in through our crawlspace with an iPad, showed us all the damages and what it would look like after we got it all done. It was not cheap. It was just really good because we were seeing cracks in our walls and it just seemed like our house was sinking. They did a good job and it has lasted. They used quite a bit of technology. We live in a swamp and they made our property dry under there. This spring my yard has practically ponded itself and it keeps it underneath that encapsulation and keeps it dry.

I initially sought the help of a quality structural engineer to consult regarding this project. I contacted three providers that he recommended. Those companies were Americrawl, Indiana Foundation, and Acculevel. Tony Haight, of Acculevel was a true professional in every aspect of the Proposal/Contract process. He was timely, considerate, informative and honest in all regards. The estimates ranged greatly in both scope and cost. Tony's Acculevel quote was not the cheapest or the most expensive. It addressed all of the basement issues in a logical, well explained and illustrated fashion. The actual job was completed to our satisfaction in a four day period. The crew was incredible. They arrived when they said they would. They minimized mess and the communicated effectively. We are very happy with the completed work. For the first time in many years we have a dry and functional basement. I have been a Angie's List member for many years and can recommend Tony Haight and Acculevel for any foundation issue!

First meeting was with Kyle. Very informative, good explanations, and no pressure sale. Left me with their brochure and a handshake, and a great first impression. We signed into contract a week(+/-) later, and got on their schedule for June 15/16. ----this is my only complaint about the entire project----up until the morning the workers showed up to do the job, there was no communication or follow up once we signed the contract. I had to call the office the morning of the 15th to see if they were coming out. The receptionist was very professional, and apologetic and advised me they were coming out. The foreman for our project was Mr. Luis Serrano. (I will try to give Mr. Serrano the credit he deserves) First, he safely parked the truck and trailer on the road, and he and his helper walked our long driveway, to introduce themselves and ask where to park. Great first impression--truck was spotless, both gentlemen were smartly dressed, clean shirts tucked in, jeans clean, and introduced themselves with a handshake(unheard of now a days, and let me tell you, this former Marine knew we were off to a good start). Both days they worked the whole time; except for a brief lunch break, they never slowed down--they owned the job. Mr. Serrano was polite, stopped to answer any questions, and made sure I knew what was going on every step. On completion of the job;spotless work site, no trash left behind, and except for the tracks the mini left in the mud, and the fact that the crack in my garage wall was CLOSED, you never knew they were there. And just like they started, finished the job with a thank you, and handshake. When they pulled out of the field, the truck tracked some mud onto the road. Immediately, both men jumped out of the truck, grabbed shovels and cleaned the road. The garage was raised almost a full inch, the crack closed, and work complete. I applaud Acculevel, and only hope for them as a company that every person they employ is of this character and caliber. Absolutely satisfied

Acculevel went above and beyond to make up for a slight oversight on our contract. They have shown me that not only do they provide excellent, professional service they also are honest and they demonstrated a high level of integrity. As soon as Acculevel became aware of the disparity the gentleman who examined our house initially, Chris McGirt (Property Manager) called us and apologized for the misunderstanding. Apparently it was merely an oversight in filling out the contract/work order. It was simply that the box indicating spraying didn't get checked and all work is to be done per work order therefore the work crew wasn't aware of the oversight, naturally. To me that is understandable and I believe him. Another representative also called and set up an appointment to have it sprayed. Both representatives I spoke with were very accommodating and courteous and anxious to rectify the misunderstanding. Their prompt response and sincerity restored my trust in them. The gentlemen who did the work were excellent, being courteous, efficient, and professional. I was very impressed and happy when Mr. McGirt checked the levelness of my foundation and told me it was indeed level. I appreciated very much his being honest. Some other companies might try to convince you to have unneeded work done. It can be difficult to find a company that you can trust to be honest and I can now say that Acculevel is one of those companies. If you think you might need foundation service Acculevel is the company to call. They're good people to work with.

Cooper Rollins, a representative from Acculevel, was very professional, patient, and courteous. He gave us many practical suggestions during his evaluation. The water damage is very slight, with some leaking on the back wall of our attached garage. We do not have any major damage but wanted to catch any problems early. He gave a very honest assessment and didn't try to upsell services or repairs. Based on his assessment, we may try to do the outer repairs ourselves but would definitely consider Acculevel for inside repairs and other assessments in the future.

Acculevel's project manager showed up on time, provided credible answers to all my questions, and provided a proposal with cost estimate for a solution to my foundation problem. There was no hard sell and the proposed solution appeared to be sound. This was one of four proposals that I obtained in order to compare and evaluate. For reasons not related to any of the companies that submitted proposals, I elected not to go ahead with the repair.

We did not require their services but felt like we have a name of a top notch, honest company for future reference!

I am a Realtor, so when I call for an estimate on a repair I need someone to come out right away. Acculevel was very prompt. They were very professional and explained to my Seller the repair that needed to be done. They explained why they were using the piers they were using and what to expect during the repair. The Buyer was a little nervous about damage to the drywall, etc. that may occur during the repair, but Acculevel was able to make the repair with no damage to the home. They came out very quickly, after the seller decide to have them do the work and my client was very happy with the work that they did. I will definitely recommend them again and again. It is important for me to recommend contractors that I can trust to do the work right and Acculevel fits the bill for me.

Acculevel worked on our home and did a very professional job. They raised and stabilized our outside porch area which had sunk over the last 30 years. They also buried a drain line, to help keep water away from our house and basement, and raised sunken sidewalk areas. The workers were friendly and respectful and were quite skilled at their jobs. The team consisted of Raul, Miguel, Antonio, Armando and Fransisco. They cleaned up and removed the dead bushes and trees that were dug up during the digging. We would highly recommend Acculevel for similar needs at your home.

I was very impressed with Acculevel's responsiveness and professionalism. After I sent the email through Angie's List, I received a call from the office to schedule a visit. Unfortunately, I was ill on the scheduled date. However, I called Acculevel and they were extremely courteous and rescheduled. By the way, they sent an email with a bio of the guy who would be visiting. A very nice touch! When the day of the appointment came, Tony called to say he was running ahead of schedule and asked if it was OK to stop by. Again, very professional. During the visit, Tony was very thorough and professional but saw no signs of settling or damage. Of course i was very relieved. He also gave some advice on keeping water away from the house which was very helpful. I'd definitely use Acculevel if I have any problems in the future.

It was quick, easy, and the least expensive solution of several opinions!

Was told workers would arrive around 8:00 to 8:30; arrived right at 8:00. One worker wasn't sure there was enough clearance around the present pump to replace but, after a short conversation between the two workers, they figured out a way to accomplish. Workers were courteous and finished the projects by 4:30 or so. Work area was cleaned up nicely. Good explanation to me of how pump operates. Estimator (who was out the prior week) was also courteous and professional. Office staff was well organized, with several notices as to when the crew would arrive, etc. Estimator said the owner is a big Purdue fan, if that has any influence on the reader of this review!

They were pretty quick about getting someone out for an estimate, but it took awhile to schedule the service. They were content to waterproof just that side of the basement with a problem and didn't try to push for the whole thing to be done. Once the work started, they were in and out very quickly and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The problem with a finished basement though is you have to tear out and repair the finished part yourself (or have someone do it) which isn't included in the estimate.

These guys are awesome!! They are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They won't try to do work that doesn't need to be done. If you need any type of foundation work done, absolutely call Acculevel...they are the BEST!!

They did a very good job. They came out within a couple days and fixed the issue. Our basement has been very damp and we are waiting for it to dry up before we continue the work with them.

It is one thing to rate a company when everything initially goes well - the true test of a company is how they respond when there is an issue. We had a problem after the work was completed. When I called to discuss the issue, they were prompt, courteous, and professionally resolved it to my satisfaction. We used AccuLevel again later this year to make a smaller repair to different section of the foundation. Jim Witmer was our contact point - he was excellent. |Bottom line - I would recommend AccuLevel to anybody and would use them again in the future if the need arises.

The guy went around the whole house and checed to see if the foundation was level, and it was.

Nolan arrived about 15 minutes earlier than scheduled, which was a welcome surprise. He thoroughly explained the procedure, answered any questions we had prior to starting, came in periodically to update us on the progress, finished the work more quickly than we estimated, showed us pictures of the work upon completion, was extremely friendly, competent and professional.

They did a really good job, and were really responsive. They were kind of expensive, but it was worth it.

The agent who came to give us the estimate was on time and very professional. He explained exactly what needed to be done. The crew who came today to do the work was on time. Very professional. Did exactly what the estimate called for. They did a great job of restoring around the work site, we can barely tell they were here.

Kyle came and inspected my home since I had some cracks in the dry wall, some squeaky areas in the floor, etc. He walked around the exterior of the house with me and inspected the indoor areas as well. He indicated that my conditions were due to normal aging and weren't anything to be concerned about. He took his time to explain what he believed was causing my issues and made some very helpful suggestions. At the end he charged me nothing for his advice. I was very thankful to benefit from Acculevel's service and expertise, and was very relieved when he told me that my issues were normal and nothing to be overly concerned about.

I bought a house from 1901 as an investment property. After purchasing and renovation, I noticed the 2nd floor was quite unlevel and the beams were found to be sagging at in the basement. I called Acculevel after researching companies on Angie's List. I called and scheduled an appointment on Sept 8th. It took just a couple of days for a Sales Engineer to come by to evaluate the situation. Chris McGrirt was assigned to the house. He arrived on time despite the rainy weather. I showed him the areas of concern and Chris showed me the specific problems he spotted. He advised we should put qty 3 - 8' steel I-beams along the bottom level on the floor. These would be supported by screw jacks and the original wooden beams would no longer be supporting the weight, thus removing the majority of sag. He also advised a few other items we could do at our own cost to save some money that may help the situation. I was very nervous about receiving a price as this seemed to be extensive work. However, the final amount quoted came to $3,300 which was around where I was hoping (best case) it would come in at. The work was completed the original day it was quoted to be completed (Oct 24th - 6 weeks after the initial inspection). I spoke with Chris and we were trying to get the house squeezed in ahead of time, but this did not happen. I sent a follow up email October 1st to Acculevel to see if anything had come up that we could squeeze in the work. However, I did not receive a response. OVERALL: Good work for the price. They will work with you to best fit your situation and (hopefully) budget. The only negatives would be the lead time for the work (6-8 weeks), but I guess this means they are doing a good job overall, and not receiving a response on my follow up email on Oct 1st. If I need a similar service again, I will definitely call Acculevel first. I highly recommend.
