Acculevel Inc

I got quotes from 3 companies but went with Acculevel because they recommended the fewest piers and had the best follow up. (I had a positive interaction with the other 2 companies.) They offered an Angie's List discount. I have 2 recommendations for them:(A) Take before and after pictures with a measuring stick to demonstrate to the homeowner just how much the room was pushed up. (B) If the homeowner isn't onsite when the work is performed, make a follow-up call to confirm the homeowner is 100% satisfied since it's a big purchase.

They were recommended by Bone Dry Masonry. The guy gave me an estimate and I don’t know where they are located. They were very professional and very thorough in explaining. I wouldn’t exactly say the price was a little high as I thought, but it does come with the products. The work that they did came with the lifelong warranty. They leveled the front porch. They had to dig down and level up. They did a great job.

We were very stressed over a crack in our poured foundation. We were advised that the poured foundation is thick and the crack was facial. We appreciated the honesty and professionalism. Would definately call this company again!

They did an excellent job. The crew had to dig up a few shrubs and they didn't do it properly so 3 of them died. Overall I was satisfied with the work.

We were closing on the purchase of a house that had high radon levels. We needed prompt service before we closed to even determine if the radon could be eliminated before we closed. Acculevel was excellent. They installed the system in our new house and ensured that it was no problem to eliminate the radon. They were professional and competitive on pricing.

They were very responsive to my inquiry. They were able to come out quickly for an estimate. They were very flexible with scheduling the work. The wall is still standing. The workers were very friendly, polite and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves. I hope I don't have to use them again but I would.

Our home inspector had missed some foundation damage (and still denies) one year ago when we purchased our home. We had contacted a general contractor, 2 masons, 2 foundation companies, and hired an engineer to evaluate our problem. One of the masons and the engineer both highly suggested Acculevel, so I called them. Mr Paul Brower came out and checked out the house (not wanting to look at engineers report so that he may give his honest assessment). Acculevel was the only foundation company we contacted (3 total) which took measurements of the movement (used laser level) or went into the crawl space to evaluate damage under the house. I was shocked that the other companies did not do this and very impressed that Acculevel did. Acculevel had the lowest estimate of the three, with one estimate being over twice the amount acculevel quoted. We will be using acculevel once we have the money saved up to purchase their service.

I hadn't used them before. It went well. Time will tell whether it fixed the problem. They do have a lifetime guarantee.

It went very well. They were on time. They did what they said they were going to do. They didn't create any associated damage with their equipment. They are a nice, polite group and I didn't mind having them around the house. The quality of their service seems good. It has only been two days since they rendered it but our house has not slid into the pond yet, so it seems to be working.

A basement wall had shifted and left the structure of the house sitting on only one inch of foundation. It had to be moved back into place before it shifted any more causing the house to literally fall apart.

Acculevel impressed us with the speed that they did it. So far, the house is stabilized and there has been a lot of rain lately. My husband interviewed the representative that first came and he was punctual. The workers worked well and cleaned up after themselves, they did not waste time. Acculevel was the company that we interviewed that was going to put the least amount of piers in.

I emailed and left a message to call me. They did immediately. I told him what I thought I needed done on my floor before I put down new carpeting. I told him it was a very old house. He explained that on really old houses, you have to be careful that you don't do more damage than what you fix. He was courteous and truthful. He didn't try to come out to do an estimate on something he knew from our conversation was going to be almost impossible. He did recommend getting a masonary specialist to look at the foundation first. I appreciate him not wasting my time and his on mission impossible. I will recommend Acculevel to anyone who wants the truth.

They spent a lot of time explaining the process, drawing drawings, and helping us fully understand how the foundation/walls of our house are put together, as well how they would fix it. They did exactly what they indicated they would, on schedule, at the price quoted, very responsibly.

I really liked the person that came out and how he handled the issue. I liked his professionalism and the information and feedback that he gave me regarding the problem. It seemed like he was experienced and knew what he was talking about.

Paul presented pictures of the system Acculevel would installed. He also showed me exactly where in my basement it would be installed and pointed out what I would need to do to prep my basement for their work. After taking pictures and measuring the space he wrote a comprehensive proposal and sat down with me and explained everything to me.

Everything was fine, but they were in a big hurry. They put the materials down to fast. When they went around corners, putting down pipes, they used duct tape instead of 90-degree L's. It looked a little shabby. I had to clean parts of the sump pump. They cut corners. The salesmen were a little pushy.

There were some things that they did well, others not so well. They were a little pushy. I got the feeling that they just wanted to sign something right there on the spot. I signed an agreement after hearing a spiel. They came when they said they would come. They were very quick in what they did. Sometimes I think it was almost too quick. On the last day of their work, fixing a bowing wall in our basement, we had a rainstorm and instead of stopping, they kept going. They slapped on black tar to part of the wall in the rain. It seems they hurried up finishing the job. We got some water in the basement after the job, along with a few minor cracks in the wall, and I think it may be due to their hurrying through the last day. They were a little bit expensive. A year later, they put a sump pump in our basement and were still in a hurry getting materials down. They sometimes used duct tape instead of 90-degree L's, which looked a little shabby. They didn't do a great job cleaning out parts of the sump pump. Sometimes they cut corners.

As it turns out, I was informed that I needed to do a bit of landscaping to change the drainage pattern of rain water which would eliminate the concerns I was seeing in my basement. It was recommended that I did not require any foundation repair nor basement waterproofing.

The entire experience was great. They came out promptly and gave me a free estimate. The week the job was scheduled for they called and asked if it was possible if they could do the job earlier than expected, which was certainly welcome. The installers arrived on time and got the work done quickly.

They were good. They were punctual and seemed honest to me. I would probably use them again in the future if necessary.

Great experience. I'm now dry. The evaluation of my existing system showed the insufficient engineering of the half pipe installed 30 yrs ago which was full of silt. I was required to remove all personal items and clear an area of 4' from the perimeter walls. The crew came early and began to jack-hammer the concrete floor 6" from the walls. This created a lot of dust. The crew made sure the HVAC system was off and used a vacuum system to control most of the dust. They then removed the debris with buckets hand carrying the buckets out to the truck & trailer. Then they installed the water tunnel and routed it to the sump pit. The next step was to hand mix the cement outside and hand carry it into the basement with buckets. This covered the water tunnel. The process took 2 days. After the cement dried we called the carpet company and our carpenter to replace the baseboard trim and paint the drywall.

We are waiting for the weather to inprove before we have them do the work

Because something in the drive bumped up they came back and leveled it again. They came back and worked on it again at no charge. They said they would do that from the beginning. It was a big job. It is at least a 2000 square foot building with a slab floor. They seem very intelligent. They came out and did an inspection and gave a very comprehensive bid. They detailed exactly what they would do and came up with a dollar amount they would charge. They ended up charging a little less and did exactly what they said they would, including moving plants and digging around half of the building. I am not quit sure if there was anything they could have done better. They deserve high grades, that is for sure. We had one other company give us a bid and the price from Acculevel was competitive. We could nit have gotten better results. They really did a good job. They out the bid in and suggested a time the ground would not be frozen any more and showed up right on time. The person who did the estimate did not mind sharing information or answering questions. We wanted someone who would do the job well at a reasonable price and that is what they did. They were very professional.

Recommended by home inspector. Buying new home and wanted to make sure cracks in outside wall of home were not foundation issues.
