Bodigon Electric was rated A+ with the local Better Business Bureau. I met with owner, Tom Bodigon, who looked over the job to be done, and he gave me a verbal estimate. When I asked for a written estimate, he stated that he was "not good at writing things down". I insisted, and he gave me a written estimate. Soon after, I called the local building dept to see if Bodigon Electric was licensed to do electrical work in the county. No, Bodigon Electric was not licensed to do electrical work in the county. I called Mr Bodigan to report that the county had no record of his license and to confirm his license number. He stated he was busy and hung up. I called the BBB to report that one of its A+ rated electricians was not licensed to do work in the county. The BBB removed Bodigon Electric's A+ rating and put the company "under review". I'm glad I checked on the license status of this company, and I did not have this company do the job. Please check the license status of any trades person through your local building dept.
