Serviceman arrived at our house and began work. Within half an hour he had sanded the fume sensor and cut out and cleared the air intake. At this point I had to leave for work and the serviceman said he would finish up, but said he didn't have a necessary part and would have to drive to the shop to get it. When we arrived back home after work, we found the bill and a note from the serviceman saying that he hadn't charged us for the travel time to get the part. Nevertheless, he had charged us for three hours of labor at the overtime (weekend) rate of $103/hr. He also charged $35 for the service call. I don't see how the labor that remained after I left for work amounted to 2 1/2 more hours. All that was left to do was installing the new ignitor and regluing the pvc. I believe that we were, in fact, charged for his travel time to get the ignitor from his shop. At $103 per hour. Also, most servicemen that I've used in the past have waived the service call if work was actually done (especially expensive work). I know that this up to the discretion of the shop, but most do it to promote customer satisfaction. After seeing the bill, I called Seasonal and asked to speak to the owner. I was told that he was out and I would have to call back. I asked if there was anyone else I could talk to who had the authority to settle my complaint. I was told it had to be the owner, whose name is Bob. I kept calling back twice a week for two months asking to speak to Bob. I was told he was given my messages and phone number but he would not reply. Finally I got a call from Paul who said he was the manager at Seasonal and he had talked to Bob about my concerns and his reply was 'to pay the bill'. I feel we were shamelessly overcharged by Seasonal and that customer service is nonexistent.

WE CALL THEM FOR ALL THE SERVICING BECAUSE THEY INSTALLED THE UNIT TEN YEARS AGO AND IT STILL RUNS FINE. THEY DO WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO WHEN THEY COME AND HAVE ALWAYS TREATED US GOOD.

THEY HAVE COME TWICE A YEAR FOR A LONG TIME NOW, AND THEY'VE ALWAYS KEPT THINGS RUNNING NICELY. WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED WITH THE JOB THEY DO, AND THE COST HAS ALWAYS BEEN REASONABLE.
