Kerry Wilson is nothing but a con artist. He did not have materials or staff to perform necessary work. He not only did not pay subcontractors but went so far as to forge the subs names on checks he placed into his own personal account. Despite having been paid, he told his workers and subcontractors that he had not seen a dime from me. The reaction of his employees was to go into my home and instead of continuing repairs, they vandalized it -- writing on the walls with a Sharpie marker, nails all over the laminate floor. Kustom Homes by Kerry now does business as Wilson General Contracting & Consulting. Prior to that it was K&M Builders -- next year it'll have another name. It's all the same person - Kerry Wilson, who has set up multiple construction corporations over the past six years. He changes corporate names to relieve himself of liability for defective work and warranties. Despite having been paid over $46,000, nothing done at my home is warrantied and I have had to continuously deal with the defective, shoddy workmanship and have had to pay other contractors to finish work Wilson was paid to do and failed to complete. Kerry Wilson quit the work at my home via email (yes, in writing),on approximately April 23, 2013, then filed a lien against my home stating he was there May 17 for work he had proposed, but never even initiated to put on a "show" for the subcontractors he did not pay with the monies he received. Fortunately I had cancelled checks and bank records, in addition to his email acknowledgments of payments -- however, he literally left about $25,000 in damages to my home.
