The inspection was worth it. Communication with them was good. The report was turned around in a timely manner in person. The inspection was thorough.

The house had sat empty for a year before I bought it and this leak had been going on the whole time. The flashing around the chimney consisted basically of someone slapping some sealant on it and calling it done. Well this didn't hold up for long. I called A&M they came out, gave me a quote and after some research found that they were a little cheaper than the other places I had look at it. The called me on the day they were ready to do the work and by the time I got home from work had already been out and finished the work. The flashing around the chimney now looks properly sealed, and the rotted wood was replaced and the shingles replaced and you'd never know there was a problem. Very happy with the work. When I go to have the roof replaced in 5 years I'll probably be giving them a call.

They were great...owner came to put the quote together. Told me I didn't have an emergency situation...I appreciated the honesty. We will be putting a drain and pump in the basement and we will use these guys for sure.

He just came the other day and he seemed pleasant. He was on time, prompt, i couldn't ask for anything more in that respect but i just haven't compared his prices yet to say whether i think he is fair or not. We are going to get another opinion. He said we needed a new pump for the basement.He discovered the sub-pump was not working well.

My husband called to find out what the deal was with the no call/no show, the gentleman he spoke to refused to believe this happened as they didn't have record of my original call or the appointment that was arranged. Then 2 days later we received an e-mail explaining that they did find record of us and apologized for not calling and showing up for the estimate and could they still come out and do the estimate. We told them no, we already had secured someone for the job.

The inspector seemed very knowledgeable of waterproofing systems, he informed me of all the services they could provide, but after inspecting my basement said that I did not need anything done right now and that my basement was ok as is. It was a relief to know the basement was ok. I appreciated he did not try to sell something that I did not need. I would defiantly call them if I need future work done in my basement.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it worked out fine. We chose not to fix the crack. He was knowledgeable in what he was talking about.

It went great, the guys are hard workers and they arrived before 7 a.m. I believe they had the entire old roof off including the garage by 9. Not too sure what the neighbors think of all the enthusiasm at that time of the morning but 12 hours later the entire house was finished and the garage is almost done. The property was thoroughly picked up before they left except for a few nails. The new roof looks great, I am so happy I picked this company and I am happy I won't have to replace this roof in my life time, someone else can worry about that.

They did a wonderful job on that. I had called him back for a couple other things I want him to do but he never replied back to me. However, the work he did at that time was great. They did a fantastic job. Their response was really good on that job. I think they were very efficient at that time and I would have recommended him again but when they didn't reply back to me for other services, I don't know what the situation was then but I would not call them back again. I would hire them but they never responded back to me so I would not hire them again.

They weren't willing to put my gutters back up, they said they would have to be nailed into the roofing and they couldn't guarantee their roofing, so they wouldn't do it. They would do it, but only their way. And I said no, I need someone that is going to put those gutters back. I paid enormous amount of money to get those put up and I want them back. How could they take them down and not put them back up? They would do the work, but they wanted more money and they would not reattach my gutter toppers. Now the gutter toppers they attach them to the roof edge. I didn't see where that would affect the roof itself. They wouldn't put them back up. That's why I didn't go with them. He was busy. He sent me a letter afterwards, probably a couple weeks to check back but I told him at the time I was in the process of getting a home loan and I would have to pay for it that way.

Work was done quickly by 4 men. The work inside the egress was extra, with no extra charge. Things look good. There was one heavy rain since the work, with no basement water problems.

The guy did a really good job, and they explained things well. I think they also did some extra things. They were really friendly. I would use them again for sure.

They showed up at 1 pm, introduced who they were and what they were going to do. My family and I went about our normal daily lifes as the work was being performed. Before dinner was over our new roof was completed, along with an outstanding clean up, you couldnt tell there was work done, all you saw was a brand new roof, nicest one on the block!

We did not require services.

Explain what the cause of the problem was and have me the cost. Came on time and finidhed the job on time. Respectful team ( they even asked if the kids were still alseep before they started). Excellent customer service at initial visit. However, they said they were going to come to finish a portion of the work and they never came back. Work is still not completed two years after they started it.

-We decided to contact A&M based on their Angie's List reviews and the fact that I'd seen them on a job last summer and was impressed by the quick workmanship and quality of the work on the roof. I saw them starting a job on my way to work and they were finished by the time I got home! We contacted A&M for an estimate to replace the front of our roof as several shingles had blown off in high wind and our insurance was willing to cover the wind damage. Because of the terrible snowy and long winter we had in South Bend, they were too busy to come out for a week, but Mike showed up exactly when he was scheduled to do so and made a very thorough inspection of the damage and even secured the damaged shingles before he left. He reviewed the insurance quote, patiently explained our options and his quote, which was well under the amount allowed by the insurance. At our request, Mike also quoted a price for the entire roof, giving us a discount for having the entire roof done at once and had no problem honoring our $250 Angie's List coupon. He was very knowledgeable and patient in answering all our many questions as fairly new homeowners and roofing novices. We decided to only commit to the front part of the roof before we checked our finances and talked to the insurance company, but later decided to do the whole roof and they quickly adjusted with no problems or delay. Some of the best selling points for us were: the lifetime (50 year) warranty on the roof, with the option to transfer once greatly increasing resale value for our house; their credentials with BBB, willingness to provide proof of insurance, license, permit, etc; the fact that Mike as the foreman would be on job the whole time; and their honesty. He explained that they would not be able to do the job until it was over 50 degrees so the shingles would seal properly. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem in March, but again it was a horrifically cold and long winter. Mike said they had other jobs, but as ours would be only one day he hoped to be able to fit us in on a Friday within the next two weeks. He kept in touch and called a few days before to schedule a Friday job about two weeks later, but an unexpected snow on Thursday delayed about another week. But again they were constantly in touch and were able to do the job the following Wednesday. The crew arrived on time at 7:30 AM and were finished by 5:00 PM. This group of workers were extremely professional, quick, and most importantly did a fantastic job. The roof looks amazing and the job came in exactly on quote. Moreover, the clean-up was remarkable--not only did we not find one nail in the yard or on the decks, but they threw away a paper cup that had arisen out of the snow I'd noticed the day before, rolled up our extension cord, and hung up a lantern that had fallen over. Mike also let us know that they'd noticed the vent from our bathroom was venting into the attic, but not to the outside of the house as the vent pipe was not connected. This will help us from having a moisture problem in our attic too. The day they installed the roof was still a little on the chilly side so a few of the shingles hadn't laid down properly, but as promised, with a few sunny days above 50, they already look perfect just 3 days later. The paperwork was also sent quickly and Mike guaranteed that if any problems did arise, they would be fixed within 48 hours. Finally, they arranged to have the gutter people come on Friday and they also did an excellent job. We were extremely nervous about dealing with contractors after all the horror stories we've heard, and we could not have had a better experience. I talked to my mom afterwards, who is a real estate agent, and she said our experience is definitely not the norm and the great warranty almost unheard of. I very rarely take the time to write reviews, but felt I had to do so after such a stress-free, easy experience and such impressive results. I would wholeheartedly recommend A&M to anyone and would not hesitate to use them in the future should the need arise.

They explained what they were going to do and the the cost was fair. Work was done well.

At my realtor's recommendation, A&M was one of 4 vendors I talked to regarding a full roof and gutter replacement. Their rep was very knowledgable, and spend the better part of an hour writing up his quote, and explaining options to me. Since this was my first quote, it was a bit like drinking from the firehose, it was a lot of information to absorb. This is more a comment on my inexperience -- this is the first roof replacement I've done, and a credit to A&M for being thorough. Their quote came in about 25% higher than the target set by my realtor, and was the 2nd highest of 4 I received altogether. Now I recall there were some extra items in there for soffets and what not, so to normalize it down, was probably 10% to 15% higher than my target. Eventually I used a vendor whose price was 5% lower than my realtor's target, and I was very satisfied with their work. My B rating is based on the priciness of their quote, which was made at a time they were busy in the fall.

Jared came out and quoted the project. He is very knowledgeable and was able to give me a price right there and then. I called him because of the good reviews on Angie's list. They came out and in 2 days the whole job was complete. I am satisfied that I have a professional job and there was no mess left behind they laid down tarps around the house and cleaned up afterwards.

They had a special on Angie's List and they were pretty straight forward. I have a lot gutters and they said for any amount of gutters it was $80 and they went ahead and did it for me. I would highly recommend them. They were very, very, good.

Great company to work with! Jarrod was professional, punctual and friendly. The project came in right on budget with no surprises. The install went smoothly and our roof looks great. The installers were very polite and knowledgeable, answering all our questions about the process. I would definitely use them again.

The gentleman was here in quite a bit of time when he came out to quote the roof and give me an estimate. He gave me a very thorough estimate. He probably gave me more information than what I ever would have needed. There was no hidden cost. I knew exactly what I was getting and how much I was going to pay. I really liked the thorough quote that he gave. I have had them come back and give me a quote on some other job around my property as well.
