Description of Work: The owner of the company mis-represented himself as he was referred to me by a friend and he had quit employment at that company and started his own business. The owner did not follow up on roofers unless called upon with problems. They threw trash (food items) in the yard all day long. The front yard looked very trashy until they picked up at night. The roofers damaged screens and a door on the home. The owner only paid a fraction of repair cost. He tried to blame the broken door on us. It was definitely done because heavy shingles were thrown without care and hit the door. The roof was installed improperly and discovered by a home inspection during the sale. There were box vents removed and several where no plywood was used to cover the hole where the box was. The shingles were put straight down with no wood underneath. The owner did not ensure the roof was done right. It took 3 attempts to get it fixed for the inspector. We had to take off work each time. We requested a refund for our troubles. After many attempts, we recieved a fraction of what was requested.
