I purchased a Groupon for a Garage Door Tune Up for 2 garage doors on April 4, 2012. I tried calling immediately to schedule the work as I needed it done on two dysfunctional doors. It was 5 days before I was able to get a person on the line despite leaving multiple messages and calling many times. The person was not even in Indiana, but located in Ohio and explained that they sold over 300 Groupons and she was catching up on the messages and trying to schedule the work and send in a technician or 2 for several days to attend to the needs. If I had known that OKI was not located in town, I would have never called them nor purchased the Groupon. Normally when you need garage door service, it is because the door is not functiioning properly and want service quickly. Well, the person promised to call back in 2-3 days to give me available dates 2-3 weeks out. She didn't call so I called again and finally we connectied, but she still didn't have the schedule complete. I called her again on the 19th and we scheduled for the April 27, 2012 between 10 am and Noon. I then rescheduled my work so that I could be home at that time. On April 24, she called me to schedule and I told her it was already scheduled for Friday. She apologized, looked it up and agreed and then asked if I could move it to Thursday or Saturday, but I couldn't. She then said that it would be chaeper for her to have a service tech spend the night in Indianapolis and do more jobs on Friday instead of returning to Ohio for one day before being in Indianapolis again on Saturday. This gave me a bad feeling and I asked if they would be there, and she assured me yes. On Friday April 27, at 11:30 am I called because no one had yet arrived to fix my doors. She assured me that someone would still arrive that day. I tried callin again multiple times beginning at 3:30 pm and no one answered nor returned my messages. Finally at 6 pm I called Groupon to expalin the inabillity of this vendor to deliver and Groupon issued me a credit toward future Groupon purchases. I have not heard anything from OKI and do not expect to hear anything. They bit off more than they could chew with the Groupon and can't deliver and made promises they couldn't keep and have poor customer service.
