Mr Sandless Wood Floor Refinishing

When we put our 1920's house on the market unfurnished, we wanted to make sure the hardwood floors gleamed. Because of the Angie's List prices, Mr. Sandless was unbeatable. The team finished the entire house in less than a day and the results were beautiful. We are certain it helped us sell the house in less than a three weeks. Since our new house was close, we had them refinish our living room floors and we couldn't be more pleased. They did their best to match the stain of the adjoining rooms and helped move the 800 lb player piano back into its nook. Not only are the results fantastic, the entire team from the scheduler to the crew are so friendly (they even helped find my lost dog.) I couldn't be happier.

It looked fantastic! The two guys were super helpful. The price was for about 1100 sq/ft for a 3 bedroom house with wood floors everywhere except bathrooms and laundry.

Excellent experience. Scott arrived promptly and explained what was needed and what he could do to clean, restore and protect a very worn floor. Floor looked brand new when work was completed about five hours later. Scott also answered questions on wood care elsewhere in the house. Very pleased with finished job and professional service.

Their service was excellent. First they fit me into their schedule within a week and even changed the date when my closing changed so that the floors could be done before we moved in. They showed up when they said they would and gave me a good idea of what results to expect. They completed the job in about eight hours. The floors in the home we bought were solid, but very worn and faded from sun damage and time. I don't know when they were last refinished. I was worried about how they would look once completed, and of the satin finish we chose. We didn't want the floors to be too shiny, but I was afraid they might still look dull. Their service exceeded our expectations and we are totally satisfied. There is an area that was still a bit lighter than the rest of the floor either from sun damage or a pet stain, but it is hardly noticable. They brought out the beauty in our old floors and I am so glad we got it done. I would recommend them to anyone. Their process is a great alternative to the expense and time it takes to sand and refinish wood floors. They took before and after pics. Hope they post them here!

Stacey was great, arranged the appointment so it was convenient for me. Scott showed up on time when Stacey said he would. Scott explained everything to me and answered all my questions, as I had a lot! He finished exactly when he said he would and when I came back I was totally impressed!! I never thought my floors could look this good!! Use the company if you are considering a makeover for your hardwood floor, totally worth it!

Contacted them by email on Sunday the 21st. Received a response by email Monday morning with an approx estimate. Spoke to the very friendly Stacey on the phone later that day where she accurately revised the estimate. She answered all my questions and even shuffled her crews schedule so they could get my floors done before I moved in. My 73 year old unfinished floors had some stains, paint, linoleum adhesive, etc. She assured me that the crew leader would do an assessment to address my concerns. Crew arrived on time. Very friendly and professional. Went through the house and told me honestly what they could and couldn't do. I left around 8:30am and at 2pm received a call from Stacey saying they would be done in approx 30 min. My floors looked amazing! And there was little to no dust. They told me about maintenance of the floors and were on their way. I'm telling everyone I know about this company and would absolutely use them again. Immediate added value to my home. Thanks!

The guys showed up first thing in the morning like they said they would. Started working and completed the job in about 3.5hrs. My floors look absolutely amazing...better than I?d ever hoped they could. Between my two large dogs and a product that I?d been using for 3yrs that left a horrible residue, my floors were in horrible condition. They told me that getting my floors back in shape wouldn?t be a problem. I must admit, I was skeptical. But now I am thrilled. Will definitely use them again as well as recommend their services to anyone who is looking to make their floors look brand new again! Awesome job! Thank you!!!

They showed up on time and got to work. We were quoted between 4-6 hours and they were finished in about 2 1/2 hours. The floor looks great.

I was thrilled, when they could do it in a day! It looks beautiful. They were very friendly and able to fit me within the week. They were efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I loved that we were able to put the room back together in 24hrs.

The team arrived as scheduled and took a look at the trouble spots in my floors. They explained the process and set expectations. After a long day of work for them, they finished up and left without a mess.

We bought our current home in 2010. The hardwood floors, which were original to the house built in 1950, were in remarkably good shape, but in need of some protection and sprucing up. Stacy and Scott arrived on schedule in the morning. They worked around my my office desk and computer in one of the two rooms and took apart a bed in the other and had it all back in place by 2 pm. My old floors are unbelievably gorgeous! The result is exactly what I wanted---new life and protection brought to to the old wood, not floors that look brand new. They have so much character. I highly recommend the Mr. Sandless process to anyone wishing to restore their old, beautiful hardwoods.

It looks beautiful! It was a very good experience. Our 81 year old floors look brand new!

They arrived a little before hand, ready to start working.They were on their hands and knees cleaning up some paint near the walls!They assessed a scratch that had been hidden by the carpeting....telling us their process might not work to hide it...and sure enough when they started the "sanding" process the scratch suddenly darkened and stood out badly. They immediately stopped and consulted with us...telling us they could leave then without charge if we wanted to call in a heavy-duty sanding/refinishing company. We decided to continue though we new it was a risk. (We had been considering an area rug in that particular spot to soften the sound of a piano in that room anyway.)They processed the floor and it looked great...and somhow the scratch faded somewhat especially after some special staining attention Scotty gave it. Scotty also noticed some fading in an area near a window...which we hadn't noticed and he did special staining in that area to make it blend in perfectly.Stacy took care of filling in holes in the transition pieces in the doorways, even to the point of using a wood stain pen over the putty she had used, to perfectly blend it in!They both spent time looking at the floor from various angles to make sure the top coat was perfectly and evenly applied. They cleaned up after themselves and other than a great looking floor you would never know they had been in the house!

Our home has original (1920's) wood flooring. We were just moving into the home and wanted to brighten up the floors, but not make them look brand new. Plus the cost of sanding and refinishing was outrageous because of the risk of the nail heads eating through sandpaper. I came across Mr. Sandless and the responded quickly. They came out and gave an honest assessment on what they would do and help guide me a bit since the floors had a few stains and two of the rooms were a slightly different color. After we figured out exactly what the game plan was going to be, we go everthing booked. They were right on time and got everything wrapped as the estimated. The floors look great and they were very friendly and helpful.

We received our estimate very promptly and the work was done in a timely manner. We prefer not to disclose the amount that we spent on their services. We would recommend them.

This was a very good experience. Stacy and Scott were great to work with from the first phone call through the finished product. This is a great alternative to having floors completely sanded and stained. The price is very reasonable compared to sanding and the time frame is much faster. This worked perfectly for me. Working with Mr. Sandless was seamless. We were in a hurry to refinish floors as we purchased a new house and all other companies had at least a three week wait. We initially thought it sounded too good to be true, but visited the national website and read other reviews and thought we should call. Stacy answered, booked the job in the exact time period and told us it would only take one day. Since we wanted dark floors, we asked about colors and she explained the technician would try to go as dark as possible, but would consult with us. Scott came and he was low maintenance, but really cared about floors and getting the results we desired. He did his work and left -- no mess. If you are particular about a specific stain, then maybe you should consult with another company. We just needed the floors to be dark and look nice -- mission accomplished. Scott went as dark as he thought he should knowing his product. We'd just had rooms repainted, including the trim and there are only a couple of areas needing slight touch-up. The process is interesting as they basically remove the top layers of the floor and then re-stain. Again, purists may not like this, but it was perfect for our needs. They were immediately responsive, showed up on time, did the work and there was no mess. I would totally recommend them. Scott really cares about his work and ultimate product -- so refreshing. They gave me a quote that was very reasonable to refinish our wood floors in our kitichen/breakfast area, living, formal dining, hall way and entry, they gave me a date and time that the work would be done and a time frame of when the work would be completed, all of which they did exactly as they quoted. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely use them again!

I can't say enough great things about this company. I needed to have my hardwood floors refinished and wasn't real sure about the sandless process; quite honestly I thought it sounded like one of those things that was too good to be true. I called Mr. Sandless, and spoke with Stacy she explained the entire process in detail, answered all of my questions, set the proper expectations and even gave me pricing over the phone. The process was smooth from the very beginning until the end, I was also able to choose the stain and type of gloss that I wanted, the job started at 9:00 and they were done by 1:00, I still can't believe how fast the process went with no clean up at all. The owner of the company actually did the work, he is professional, polite and truly wants to make sure his customers are satisfied. I put off having my hardwood floors refinished for a long time because I thought it would be a mess and very costly, I'm glad I called Mr. Sandless and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called to see about scheduling..left a message and the wonderful Stacey called me back within 5 minutes. She is SO nice! She explained the whole process...the difference between sanding and sandless, what to expect, etc. She was awesome! She was great at working with my schedule (I thought it had to change...then it didn't...neurotic) and is so pleasant - a rarity these days in customer service. Scott showed up right on time in the Mr Sandless-mobile. He was very professional but warm and friendly. He covered the floors that led to the area he was working on, hauled his stuff up the (gawdawful amount of) stairs and got to work. My floors were from h***. These are 100 year old attic hardwoods that haven't been touched since the 30s. They were stained dark green at that time and I'm pretty sure they had no poly left on them. There were areas of splintering (from the vile drywallers...but that's another review lol) on the floors and stairs...drywall dust smeared on them...old paint, you name it. Scott screened and stained the floor, landings and stairs dark walnut and poly'd the ever-lovin' out of them. I smelled nothing and there is literally NO dust, folks. The floors still have character - it doesn't sand off every nook and cranny - but they look amazing. As I write this, it is 3:30 and Scott just left. 8:30....ugly floors. 3:30...beautiful, gleaming hardwoods. No mess, no drama, no need to call Rafael Sanchez. Rock on, Mr. Sandless - you're the best (now if I could just quit singing your name to the tune of "Mr Sandman"...life would be grand...)

They were excellent! Their quality was great and I would use them again in the future.

His quote was higher than another quote that I got, so I ended up not using him. He called me back within 5 minutes of me leaving a message. He was very timely in the call, but his quote just came in higher. He was very responsive. I have heard good things about him from someone. My only issue was that he didn’t come out and look before he gave me a quote, and I think that was why he might have priced himself too high. I might call him out again for another quote, but my first call would be to the company that did the floors for me.

They answered my call immediately, gave me a quote and stuck to that price even tho they added on two steps and a small landing area. I told them I didn't expect perfect due to the condition of the floors, but would like to be able to leave them bare with only area rugs. The system is completely odorless, took only one day, and the results were amazing. While a few stains from pets remain, they are for the most part un noticeable. Areas in doorways that were very splintered and dangerous to walk on barefoot are now usable.

We wanted the floors redone before the holidays. They responded to my email within a day, honored the coupon I had, and scheduled work within two weeks. The work took about 8 hours to complete and was dry the same day. They asked us to wait an extra 24 hours before putting heavy furnature on it, but we could walk on the floor the same day. That was HUGE because we have two dogs, a cat, and a toddler. We needed to be able to use our house ASAP. And, the stuff they use isn't toxic like polyurethane. Very little fumes, and it all cleared out within an hour or two. -Do get accurate measurements of your room. The price will change based on size -Do clean out your closet. I forgot. They would have refinished the closet, if I had emptied it. -Do take before pictures. -Do be realistic in your expectations. It won't necessarily be the same as sanding, but the finish is lovely and is supposed to last 5 years. -Do make sure you put pads on your furniture before putting it back on the floors. We did and haven't seen any scratches yet. -Look in the mailers and newspapers for coupons. -If you can, take off your baseboards so they can finish all the way to the edge.
