Mr Sandless Wood Floor Refinishing

Mr. Sandless is fantastic! All aspects of their business are spectacular and their product is great. After performing the refinishing, they came back on two other occasions to check some spots that appeared and to stain a piece of wood that the contractor had erroneously told them not to stain. The finish itself is also great, it really revives the color and gives it a great new shine. The only limitation of the process is in the removal of scratches, but once you revive the color the scratches are much less noticeable. I recommend them and their service and have the full intention of using them again.

Scott had to work extremely hard as the floors were in bad shape. He had completed the transition and the final process just didn't look good. He then had to start completely over...a decision I'm sure he didn't want to make but stuck with it. My floors look unbelievably super. They are beautiful and I give Scott (and the company) kudos for the final outcome and working that hard and extra to accomplish this end result. I'm really sure that a lot of companies would not take and go that extra mile and just tell the customer noting more could be done.

It went very well. Scott arrived on time and went right to work. The floors had a lot of scratches and stains. He was able to blend the colors and put a nice satin sheen on the floor as a final coat. It looks great. I would not hesitate to use them again. The sandless method does not leave any mess to clean up.

Stacy (a doll) came out the day after we talked and tested a section (no fee for this). The first company to come up with a solution for these floors. We scheduled the process and Stacy and Scott both came out and did an amazing job. They were on time, professional, communicative and our floors truly look like they must have the first day they were installed--and they had severe scratches in the finish. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone needing work on their hardwood floors.

I wish I had known about this type of refinishing (and this company) years ago. The company was very responsive and able to fit me in on short notice. I couldn't be happier. The work performed was exceptional quality. Scott, the person who performed the work, was professional, friendly and knowledgable about hardwood floor repair and care. I'm amazed at how good the floor looks now, it was in pretty rough shape before Scott worked on it. Oh, and did I mention, the work was performed in half a day? Amazing! This company is going to be one of my favorites.

We have solid oak floors that have been down for 10 years. We have 2 large dogs, kids and planters, that did some damage over the years. There was also a section of discolored, very weathered wood in the entry that stood out because of all the damage. Mr. Sandless was a great alternative. Our floors look BRAND NEW, with no mess. No sanding, removing base boards and most importantly, the high cost of traditional refinishing. Initially, there was some difficulty in scheduling appointments, but Stacy made a point in getting us taken care of. She is really very nice and accommodating with getting good customer satisfaction. Our technician was Scott, and he did such a great job. He is extremely nice, professional and works hard at making your home beautiful. When we were considering them and had trouble getting a hold of someone, then saw some reviews about that issue, then had trouble ourselves, we were hesitant. But now, all I can tell anyone considering them is be patient.....they are DEFINITELY worth the wait, and I feel the really and truly do value their customers.

Brought my hardwood floors to a more up to date color and shine that I would have never thought possible. Scott, whom performed the refinishing task, was absolutely fantastic and very professional. He faced some problems and NEVER gave up on trying to resolve the situation and the final result was fantastic. Kudos to him in sticking to the problem because I would have never dreamed of the result...Gorgeous! Very little dust, if any, and the odor was minimal. Great company to work with from the beginning to the end...Stacy, you also were great and knowledgeable of the products and the process.

Mr Sandless refinished our oak floors in our Great Room, Stairs and 2nd floor landing. The work was completed in 8 hours. The odor was minimal and the floors looked great after the process. They still look good 6 months later in a high traffic area, people and dogs. Would and have recommended Mr Sandless to others.

Left message three times with phone contact information and they never returned any messages. Went with someone else.

I spoke with Stacey about coming out to look at my floors. She made an appointment with me for Thursday, which was just two days after I spoke to her so I was thrilled. She told me she would be there between 11 and 2 and would call to narrow he appt time. Thursday came and she never called. I left 3 voicemails for her and she never called back. I wasted 3 hours waiting for her in an empty house (we hadn't moved in yet). Still haven't heard a word. Too bad, because our floor project was extensive and she missed out on a big opportunity. I guess Mr Sandless doesn't need the business. We had contacted the Indianapolis location at the same number you listed.

Provider did nothing! I called Stacy (owner?) and asked her to come to my house and give me an estimate to refinish my wood floors. I had read a review about Mr Sandless that stated Stacy was very friendly and accommodating while on the phone but all dealings after were unprofessional. I found that to be spot on, unfortunately. Stacy and her lead installer were late for the appointment, proceeded to pull up huge sections of my carpet to observe sub-floor conditions where just a small carpet pull back would have sufficed and basically just showed a callous unprofessional attitude about even wanting to be there or provide me their services. i informed Stacy that i was under short time constraints and if she could give me her estimate in a timely manner. She looked me right in the eye and told me i could expect the estimate in a couple of days. Thinking she would be true to her word i didn't pursue any other providers. One week went by, then by the 10th day i had decided that this was one company that was not to be trusted.Thankfully, i was able to move on and find an accommodating professional provider. ALL I WANTED WAS AN ESTIMATE! Never heard from them again! LIVE AND LEARN! BUYER BEWARE!

The process went well. They were on time, courteous and did a good job restoring on hardwood floors. They were not able to remove some of the shadowing in one room but they pre-warned their system may not do so.

They were professional, clean and quick. They were in and out in a day and I could walk on my floor that night. They left me instructions on care maintenance and I will have them come back to do the downstairs flooring.

The flooring finish looks really nice but almost all of the shoe mold has to be repainted. While they said they would come back they have not responded to my messages. Good start, disappointing finish

Stacy, who we worked with over the phone, was excellent. She gave us a run down of the process as well and the expense of the areas we would be getting refinished. We had some sun fading spots on the floors and when the technicians arrived to do the work, they told us right away that the sun faded spots would not be fixed unless we had them sanded and refinished. He explained the process and was wonderful about giving his honest opinion. I really appreciated his honesty knowing that he might potentially lose a customer. However, he did not. My husband and I discussed the expense and time involved in using a sanding process rather than Mr. Sandless and decided to stick with Mr. Sandless. They got to work right away and did a great job.

We had one day between closing and move in. Mr Sandless worked with us on a couple different change in schedule because of the Closings being delayed. They were still able to get us in the schedule and did exactly what was discussed and we are very please with the outcome of the floors. There were no additional charges and there was some extra work involved in one of the rooms to be refinished.

Although they didn't feel they could refinish the type of floors that I had, they referred me to another company who could. The person I spoke with was very thorough, professional and asked all kind of probing questions and details no one else even discussed with me. I would definitely refer them.

I sent a message on April 15, 2014 asking for an estimate to refinish bamboo floors. I never got a response. UPDATE: On May 4 I got a response and an apology for the oversight. Will update this at as the request for an estimate progresses.

Went well. Very timely and did the job within a few hours. The finished product was a little more glossy than i expected.

He was prompt and pleasant - did the work just as he had said he would do. We were pleased with the way it looked; however, the finish just did not hold up. There are just two of us living here (no little children or pets) and scuff marks started showing up almost immediately.

Scott and Joey arrived right on time. After explaining what they were going to do, they went right to work. They were very considerate of the inconvenience this job causes but reassured us that by evening we would be able to walk on the floors with socks. You would never know that Joey had only worked for the company for a week. He was a pro. The floors were in serious need of work, having many pets and people contributing to the wear. I know Scott must have gotten tired of me commenting on how surprising it is that it was all done in one day. The floors are absolutely gorgeous!

stacey - person who you talk to on the phone is a refreshingly pleasant upbeat personality. scott, person who came out to do the job also nice to deal with. i was in a time crunch - needing to get floors refinished before tenants move in - 2 weeks away. mr. sandless was one of the few refinishers i found who could fit me in. the problem i had was that i did not understand the process. when i talked to stacy, she mentioned that they use an orbital sander and that it's not the most aggressive, but it is aggressive. i usually refinish the floors myself and have used an orbital sander and that is how you describe it -- it's not as aggressive as a drum sander but is next in line. so that made sense to me. what i didn't understand was that the orbital sander they used did not sand at all. it was a buffer and used an abrasive pad. it's only function was to clean off the loose finish, not to sand the wood to smooth imperfections, or sand out stains or aged discoloration. they just basically put stain and finish on top of all those things. so if you start out with a wood floor in good shape that only needs more finish applied, that 's great. but not great for a 100 yr old pine floor with all the issues that entails. when scott came out he explained that to me. but at that point, i was afraid it was too late to schedule anything else before new tenants move in. scott did a great job of staining to match the color of the new oak that i had to patch in to existing floor. you don't even notice it. i know he worked hard throughout to match and even out the color, but that also meant he had to put the stain on dark to hide the blemishes, so it almost looks like brown paint - losing the beauty of the grain. still the discoloration, unevenness and imperfections showed through, whereas sanding could have cleaned them up quite a bit. overall, this type of refinishing does not lend itself well to a floor with issues other than a dulled finish. next time i would go with traditional refinisher.
