Mainstyle Flooring

I bought carpet in October 2018. It is now 2020. When the carpet was installed there was NOT a single seam that had a pattern match. We contacted Mainstyle flooring and they sent another installer out to reinstall carpet and they asked if they could use some of the carpet from the first install to save some money because it was off the same roll, we agreed, but the new carpet has a different density and color than the first carpet installed. The seams are terrible! (every room) We have made several calls and sent many pictures to them and waited months for replies. A claim was filed with Mohawk and we asked for a copy of the report and never received one. We have had other carpet company's look at the carpet, and carpet is not fixable!

We had to call them a couple of times to get one thing done.

On day of installation, they found out we were 12 feet short. This is after they had spent 45 minutes measuring. We had to take a day off for installation so this mean we would need to take another day off. When we asked for compensation, we were told they do not do that but that they would not charge us extra for the 12 additional feet. That was nice of them considering the 12 feet was already in the quote that we agreed on. We were told they would put a rush on our order but it took a week and then they showed up hours late. Installers were great, customer service was awful.

The tilework in the basement was done very well. It took about a week to tear out the old carpet, install new tile, and replace quarter molding. The work crew was very professional. The family room carpeting went very quickly...in less than 3 hours they had moved furniture, pulled up carpet, installed new padding and laid new carpet!

It went really well, I like them a lot! I don?t remember the price, but I think it was fairly reasonably. I really didn?t do any comparison pricing. I use them because they are local. When I went in to talk to them I liked them and I like their products. So, I just went with it! The associates on the floor room were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and nice/friendly.

They did a great job. They were all very professional. They said they were gonna come for estimates, make recommendations--everything they said they were gonna do, they did and what's beyond. The owner of that company is very good, even his field staff. Any problems I've had, I've been able to call and get them resolved and actually just ordered additional planks for the wood flooring, a couple of cases in case we have a problem with the kitchen.

So far I am very happy with the results. They did it on time and on budget. I would definitely recommend them.

The installation has been scheduled. The staff has been pleasant and easy to work with. All information was provided in a professional manner. Measurements were taken and handled very professionally. Satisfied with everything about the project so far.

They were very helpful in finding products that would be suitable and nice for our use. I will be recommending them to others as an alternative for their flooring resources. The product was pricey but it was a top rated commercial product.

Workmanship was above professional grade. These are by far the best contractors we have had in our home. Price was reasonable and they worked with us on giving us the coupon discount. Would obviously highly recommend this contractor. Nearly flawless.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Main Style Flooring. They answered all of our questions, worked with us to get our choice of flooring to a price point we could afford, and were able to schedule the installation quickly. The installation team was very professional. The tile installers even stayed late in order to ensure the carpet installers could start on time the next day. The floors look great--I can't reccomend Main Style Flooring highly enough.

We stopped by the show room to look at flooring samples to replace our kitchen flooring. The sales man who greeted us was new and when he discovered we wanted a product he was not yet familiar with, he brought over a more experiences person. We did appreciate that. We choose a few samples that we liked and were encouraged to take them home to see how they looked. I was satisfied with the product and the price. The installation team showed up when they were scheduled (within the period agreed on at the sale). They looked at the damaged part of the floor and told us it was beyond their ability to repair. He did suggest a contractor who came over with in a couple of hours. The contactor repaired the beam and floor and then the installer put in the flooring. All in all I was pleased. I was glad the installer recognized the damaged floor was beyond his ability to repair and that he could reccommend a contractor who would actually come over on the same day and make the repair. I love the wood floor, it looks great and is easy to care for.

They were very responsive to my needs, both in measurements and in advice on future sales that we could take advantage of. We will use use them in the future.

They recommended that we put in 1" to 2" inch thick carpet for the concrete slab. They put in a thick padding as well. They were excellent all around. They used Berber carpeting.

SALESMAN WAS ONE THE BEST THAT I DEALT WITH IN SEVERAL STORES. THE LAMINATE WAS A GOOD PRICE. THE CARPET SELECTION WAS NOT AS GOOD AS THE LAMINATE. IT SEEMED TO ME THAT THIS STORE CARRIED A LOT OF THE OLDER KINDS OF CARPET AND NOT THE NEWER NYLONS THAT HAVE BEEN OUT THE LAST YEAR OR SO. SINCE THEY HAVE THE OLDER CARPET (MATERIAL) THEY HAD VERY GOOD PRICING.

THE SALESPERSON WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND POLITE. HE LET ME TAKE MY TIME IN THE STORE (I ACTUALLY WENT IN ABOUT 3 OR 4 TIMES) WITH NO PRESSURE AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. HE WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL A COUPLE OF TIMES ON THINGS THAT I ASKED HIM TO CHECK ON, BUT BOTH TIMES I HAD TO CALL HIM. NO BIG DEAL. THEY USE SUBS FOR INSTALLATION AND MINE WERE GREAT. THEY KNEW THEIR STUFF, AND DID IT QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY.
