The guy came, he fixed it and we never heard anything back. They considered it worth in the warranty, they just put the roof on like the year before. They were pretty quick. When they heard there was a leak they came within a couple of days.

The work done by Hayes Construction Company was very professional. We are very pleased with the quality of the workmanship. The employees were most courteous and friendly. We felt comfortable enough to allow them access to our home for work on the project while we were in Florida.

The contractor I worked with, John Russell, was pleasant, professional and patient in every step of the process. He explained things to me when I had questions. When we discussed options for materials, John gave me the pros and cons of each item which allowed me to make the best decision for my and my house. The workers were the same - they showed respect to me and my property. I was impressed with how thoroughly they cleaned up everything too!! Despite the heat, the men all continued to work efficiently and quickly. My house was built in the '60's and there were a couple of unique issues with how it had been built; this made the siding replacement a little challenging. John and the crew never complained, never made me feel like I was being too picky - everything they said and did was just to get my house perfect. I would enthusiastically recommend Hayes Construction to anyone!

They subcontracted out gutters and then one of their handymen is coming out this week to finish up their part of the construction. I'm not sure if the roofing company was subcontracted through Hayes or if they are actually employed by Hayes. It has gone well. They keep me posted, John calls every week and tells me kind of what they're looking at, and who I should expect out. When the roofers were here, he came out about an hour after they had gotten started, he checked on them, and checked with me, and he is working with Champion to repair our screened in porch so he was here and met with them as well. He calls every week and he stops by when they're working to make sure everything's going on as they should. The roof looks really nice. They are here early in the morning and they stay until those are completely done. I have no problem working with them, they're very professional.

The company assisted in the process of obtaining approval of my claim with the insurance company. On of their guys even went up on the roof with the adjuster to point out the damge. The crew arrived on time and cleaned up nicely. Everyone was polite and professional. The work was perfomred quickly, professionally and within budget. The crew even did several little extras like picking up some tree limbs left from the storm and cleaning out the gutters. I have contacted them about performing some additional work.

Hayes came out just after a hail storm in September. I received quotes. After hiring them, (not signing a contract) it took the company a month or so to come out and start the work for the exterior of the house. They damaged plants and flowerbed assessories, didn't put back up exterior lighting, and didn't caulk the roof where it meets the upstairs siding of my house. As a result, I have water damage in my garage and attic space above. When I called the contractor to have him come back out and look at it he told me that it was my master bath drain leaking. After the roof was correctly caulked the attic stopped leaking into my garage. I also had interior work done on another separate quote. They tried to charge me for drywall work they didn't do. I had to have someone else come in and pay them to do it. Now Hayes thinks that I should pay them for work I have already paid someone else for. They didn't caulk the insides of the windows after all new windows were installed. I had to call and ask them to come back out to do it. When they came back out they didn't caulk around all four sides so I had to call again and have them come out a third time. The contractor that was working on my house took a vacation in December (in the middle of my home repair). The two guys that were working on my house had torn off all the siding but not yet wrapped it in OSB and resided. When I called Bob Hayes to ask when they were going to finish the work he said that Joe would take care of it when he got back in a couple of weeks. Keep in mind that my master bath is on an outside wall of the house and it was freezing. Bob said that I would just have to put up with the cold until it could be fixed. That is unacceptable. I have a five year old child and it shouldn't be cold in my house because they can't get the work done in a timely manner.

Mr John Russell of Hayes Construction scheduled the work and saw to every detail including all the necessary paper work. We were very pleased with the work provided and would recommend this company to anyone needing their services.

This was a very positive experience. They were willing to work around my schedule, did various things such as put replace plywood under the shingles, put shields around the windows and went the extra mile to make sure I was happy. I paid half at the beginning and half when the work was complete.

Hayes construction was the middle of our three estimates and seemed like a reasonable price. However, the price that was quoted ended up being a lot higher after the job was complete. We actualy got an estimate based on some insurance work, but decided to look at getting the roof replaced. I should have realized at his hesitancy to provide an itemized list of work and materials to the insurance company that there was going to be a problem. First, Hayes will not provide a detailed itemized list it is an estimate sheet which can apparently have anything written on it without being included in the price. Second, I requested a deal from him to have my neighbors house's roof complete also. My neighbor agreed to what was a $400.00 price break. Price was never discussed, but after he said he would agree to a price break and my neighbor agreed to services hayes said it was $400 each. Not much of a price break on two roofs. After I signed for services the materials arrived about a week later and then at 7AM on a Saturday morning people started climbing our roof taking off the old roof. We had no idea they were coming and had no phone call in regards to them starting the roof, especially at 7AM on a Saturday. During my neighbor's job, my neighbor had complained that they did not replace any old boards. During my job Mr. Hayes claimed that they replaced some boards even though I had not said anything about it, obviously concerned that my neighbor was talking to me. Before they began on that Saturday, Mr. Hayes called me and asked if I had wanted gutters. Considering that I thought the estimate included gutters I said yes. The price came back $1500.00 more than the orignal quote becasue the gutters were not included on that quote. This one is on me because due to the fact that they use a piece of paper to write the estimate instead of having such a thing as paper with a duplicate attached I gave him the original signed estimate without a copy. After the roof was completed I have had to call them out twice to fix the same leak in the same spot. The second time I called they were very hesitant to come back. I have also had to replace the guttering on one side of the house because nothing was replaced from the orignal guttering. They used the same smaller nails and nailed them to the same 60 year old facia board. I had to have a handy man come out and fix it and he said that if they had just used longer nails this wouldn't have happened. Obviously some of this is on me, however, I do not believe that I should have had two leaks in 3 years and gutters replaced.

We did not go with them because of price but the guy who came out to look at the project was very courteous. He was punctual so it was a good experience.

The work went fine. Both Josh Hayes and Joe were great. At least one of the supervisors were on site the entire time managing their team. The workers took great care in protecting shrubbery, flowers and the lawn. It seems like quality work, there have been no problems so far. The supervisors montiored the progress, getting on the roof with the team, so the work was quality. We were very pleased with the results. They mantained clean up as the job progressed and got the entire project done in two days.

They were fair and professional in their bid. I just didn't want to use them. They had twelve crew members under one boss, and I didn't see how they could guarantee a good job. I would have rather preferred one boss and one crew member. Other than that, I didn't have any problem with them.

I was happy with everything. They made a mess of my driveway with some oil. I got home the next day and they were car washing it off. They made sure I was happy. They came back a few months later to check on everything.

I had evidence of a roof leak on the ceiling. I called to have someone evaluate the flashing/seal around a fan housing on the roof. Joe called within half-an-hour of my email and completed the job within the hour. He also alerted me to a fan that was a fire hazard and gave me an opinion about a bathroom fix-up I have been considering. Best value and service ever...and on a Saturday

Josh and Joe were great to work with and are a very professional team. All subs arrived on time, were courteous, professional, cleaned up after themselves, and did an excellent job. Both Josh and Joe monitored the work in progress on a regular basis and had the work completed by the deadline we had set in spite of frequent rains in April and May. They were not the low bid contractor but their service matched their price, no corners were cut, and we ended up with a beautifully finished house. I would highly recommend Hayes Construction Co.

It was ok. The work could have been a little better. The responsiveness was a little lackluster.

We needed the roofing replaced on our garage and family room. I contacted Hayes Construction via telephone, and they came out within 2 days to give me a free estimate. Bob (the owner) was very courteous and professional, and explained how he came up with his figures. We agreed to have them do the work. They had a crew here within a week, and had the old shingles stripped and new roofing on in one day's time. The crew was very couteous and professional. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

They left a crew that did not speak English. They had a problem and I could not communicate with them. I had to call the supervisor on his cell phone and have him come out to resolve the problem.

I received wonderful service and great craftsmanship. I have gotten several compliments due to the work performed. I even recommended them to my neighbor when he needed siding replaced.

They were very good. They did the work promptly, they did the work well, and the cleanup was great. The price was comparable.

I was not pleased with the way the salesman made promises and didn't keep them, as well as the nasty attitude that the owner had when I called for a receipt for the work that was done. I was told that the estimate was all I would get and I said I wanted something that clearly showed what was actually done. The owner was not very nice about it and never sent me the receipt that I asked for. I would not recommend this company, because of the lies from the salesman, the nasty way the owner acts towards customers, also the fact that the owner went behind my back to the insurance company. Also, the fact that they never replaced the roof on the shed or did the work on the sun room like they said they would, or replaced the vent stack and top.

After the hail storm on 4/5/10, I was inundated by numerous "storm chasers" to fix my roof. I called Hay's Construction after my insurance adjuster agreed to a new roof. Bob Hay's came out at a time that was good for me and after talking with him on the service he would provide and the quality of the product he would use, I signed up with his company. Two business days later, the material arrived and two days after that, two crews arrived and got the roof done in one day. Hay's Construction workers did a wonderful job not only on the new roof, but with clean up. There was no evidence of any roofing materials left behind. I would highly recommend Bob and his company.

The experience with them was good. They were very professional, got it done as quickly as they could given the restrains that they were under, with all the work being done in the area. It looks great.

Bob Hayes came out to estimate the next day after I called. His workers got started the next day. We have an old downtown house that still had the original decking, they stripped all the old wood off, removed a chimney, replaced some bad lumber, and installed new fly rafters. They then blew in insulation into the attic and put on new decking and shingles. The work is excellent and they were very easy to work with.

They completed the work very quickly and efficiently and they cleaned everything up. We were pleased.
