Fite Plumbing

The hot water heater in our office went down. I contacted Fite over the weekend and they beat a competitor's price and had the replacement done by Monday afternoon. Everyone was very polite and professional during the whole process. Excellent company and I would highly recommend.

They are not good. There are several leaks and they're unwilling to resolve it and other water quality issues. We had leaks on our living room, ceiling, our water smells very badly and they are unwilling to address it.

Fine. Love it. Just seemed a bit pricey.

The service was completed in a timely manner. The drain line seems to be working fine. The price was the best of 3 estimates I received.

It was expensive. It was over $200. I can't remember the exact amount, but I was surprised. They were here a couple of hours. I was pleased with them. I thought they were a little high in cost but I don't know what the going rate is for that type of thing so it's had to judge.

It went very well. They were fast, efficient, and neat.

I'd give them an A. I paid at least a hundred dollars more because they had to cut through the drywall to go into the wall to get to it. I paid an additional. There wasn't anything bad. It wasn't their fault, I mean they shouldn't cut through my wall that I have to have repaired but that's just part of the service. I had to pay additional to get done what I needed done but I didn't know price for anyone else so I don't know what it would be. I think the price was okay for what was performed. As for quality, it's not leaking so I'd give them an A.

He was clean and took care of everything. He picked up after himself.

To be fair, the review dated 6/08/2016 is mine as well, written by on of the Angie's List folks after a phone contact. A General Contractor we hired used Fite to replace an outside spigot. All was good for the first year, but about 14 months after the spigot installed, the spigot failed completely. When contacted, someone from Fite came to my house initially, and determined it was not a warranty issue. Upon recontacting the company, someone else from the company (I believe someone in the Fite family by the name on the card) came out and determined the spigot installed actually WAS faulty, and replaced it. From the above, I should have known better, but figured while I had him there, asked if he wanted to look at/bid the fix for a leak that had developed on the hot supply line to a bathroom basin. He looked at it, determined that the valve needed to be replaced, recommended that both the hot and cold be replaced (seemed like a sensible idea), and bid the job at $250. He explained that not only would they replace the valves, but the remainder of the line from the valve to the faucet. He did not have the parts/time to do the job, so scheduled something for about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks from that date. I believed before we finally got someone to come out, Fite cancelled at least twice, adding about another 1 1/2 weeks to the time someone would be out.. When their desk person tried to reschedule, I actually told them that I would just go somewhere else if they didn't want to do the job. They promised that the person would be there this time for the appointment. This time, the person showed up, on time...but only had marginal knowledge of the job. He looked at what was needed, and had to drive to Lowes to get parts...two Keeney return valves. He installed the valves, asked to confirm that we had been told we were quoted between $250-300 (we had been quoted $250), we wrote the check, and he was gone. I inspected the work after he left (I know, my mistake and I know better. We were so taken aback by his lack of knowledge/preparation for the job, I wasn't comfortable being in the same room with him), to find he only replaced the valves...not the lines from the valves to the faucet as originally bid. I called the originally employee who bid the job...and never heard back. I can't be sure, but believe I called and texted at least twice. But hey, the lines were fixed and no leaks, right? Wrong. Fast forward two years later, and the hot side has started to leak again. From where? Apparently from the lines from the valve to the faucet. That were supposed to be replaced from the original quote. That apparently the person who came out didn't replace, or "know" to fix. But they sure remembered the estimate accurately. $250 to replace 2 $9.00 valves, that when the person had the correct parts, took about 45 minutes. Of course, that's 45 minutes to only do part of the job bid, but charge full price. If you're looking for a plumber, keep looking. Or be prepared to have the job rescheduled at least twice, spend your time watching the work, and still have to find someone to do the job correctly later.

They came and remove the old water heater and install a new in about 1.5 hour.

18 month new custom home construction project. We have been in the home for 2 years, 3 months. We have had constant plumbing problems since we first occupied the home. Faulty installation(s), lack of supervision, inability to solve and correct problems. One failure after another. Finally, we stopped using Fite for repairs. We began using a competent plumber this year. Of all the trades which were used in the construction of this home, we can say that Fite was the only trade that we profoundly regret was engaged by our builder.

Everything went well. They were on time and the work was completed without any issues. They also fixed a few other minor issues that a home inspector might get picky about.

They came to install a new garbage disposal and I ask them about a leak from my kitchen faucet. He gave me a quote for a new one and a discount if they install it on the same day. I chose the one that I wanted and he went out to a store to get one for me. When he came back; he install the new kitchen faucet and replace my old garbage disposal that was leaking water. His work was very professional and a very polite service man. Yes I will use them again if needed. Now my wife is happy to have her kitchen faucet and garbage disposal working like new again. Thanks for a job well done.

Work was completed quickly and professionally

They showed at the agreed upon time. Gave us a call when they were headed over to our house. Job was done, removing old garbage disposal and replaced it with a new model. Five stars. Would use them again.

I was pleasantly surprised that Fite Plumbing called me within 35 minutes of the purchase error to set up an appointment with me. While I don't need a garbage disposal (which is what I purchased) I was very happy to see they were so responsive! I know who I will be calling if I do need plumbing work in the future.

Jannifer contacted me quickly and was flexible with scheduling the appointment. I was running late getting home and was worried the plumber would arrive before I got there- but Jannifer took care of it and pushed my appointment later. The plumber did arrived later than expected- he called and said he was on his way but then didn't arrive for another hour. Granted it was rush hour and traffic is always a mess. I was just grateful they were still able to come. Poor guy looked tired and I could tell I was the last visit of the night. He did a great jump and finished quickly.

The service went well. The product water softener that they put in did not work out. They did end up making it right. I would give them another chance. There was a leak and the water bills were high. They came out and found the problem.

They were very, very good. We were very satisfied. The quality was very good. If I had a problem, they followed up immediately. I was very satisfied.
