Quoted 200.00 and 5 hours later had cut phone and cable line. All utilities were marked - left for extended lunch. Final bill was $565.62. Bill still under dispute.

The water softener was directly in the way of the hot water tank thus I had it moved and re-plumbed. Excellent work and I have since had them out for other work.

I called Burney's Plumbing at 6:30 am after my well-pump went out over night. He couldn't be on site at 10 am like he thought he could, but he phoned ahead to let me know he would be an hour late due to a previous commitment. When he arrived, he checked the starting capacitor and found that it was not holding a charge and that the contacts in the pressure switch were worn out. He returned after lunch and a trip down town to buy the parts, installed them and the pump came back on. He said he could sell me an $800 well pump, but he thought my old pump sounded great. He checked the pressure on my reservoir and filled it to 28 psi. He also listened to my plans for a sewer project and was able to give me a rough estimate of the cost. I will definitely be calling him when that project rolls around. He not only fixed my well pump, but now I have better water pressure.

They are absolutely the best. They are prompt, honest and do good work. I would refer him to other people. They do what you ask and don?t argue. They don't overcharge. I would continue to use him in future.

I noticed water leaking from under our well pressure tank. Burney's owner made a preliminary visit to determine the problem within a couple hours of my call. He provided an estimate and then returned later the same day with the parts to complete the repair. The actual repair costs were less than the estimate. Burney's had very good response to my plumbing emergency.

He replaced the pump and replaced our water heater. He is a wonderful guy to work with. His crew is great and I would highly recommend.

Called Burney's at 8:30 am. At 10:30 am, the plumber was at the door. His first stop was the malfunctioning toilet. He scraped the concrete-like lime buildup out of the holes under the rim and it seemed to work better. Did recommend a replacement and gave us good information on the best brands of low water use toilets available now. Secondly, he went under the house and assessed the problem Could not determine where the sump was actually draining, but it obviously was blocked or inadequate. He replaced the drain pipe and rerouted it so that this back up should not happen in the future. The work was completed in a little over an hour and Phil was very thorough.

I discovered the water heater was leaking on Wednesday evening. I called around 7:15 on Thursday morning. They said someone would be out around 9:30 a.m., and he was. He replaced the water heater, cleaned everything up, and I was taking a hot shower by noon. Mr. Burney is a gentleman, explained everything pretty clearly, and got the job done. I couldn't be happier. He had replaced my water heater several years ago, when it was still under warranty, and didn't charge me a dime.

Tech showed up on time and completed job. The tech diagnosed problem and explained alternatives. The tech cleaned up after completing the install.

It was a Saturday morning and I had a new washer on the way when I attempted to shut off the water faucets. The handle broke off. I found Burney's on Angie's List after calling two other plumbers who couldn't come out until next week. Burney's sent a man over immediately. It was a small job that took a lot of work because the old plumbing was so, well old. I was very happy they came out and very happy with the work. They repaired the wall that they had to get into and then they connected the new washer for me. When I got the bill I was happier still. It was a fair price and less than I anticipated.

He sent Dave in to come and look at the problem. The brass fitting was totally broken because it had sucked up a nail. There was still debris in the ground and through pipes from the construction of the house. He put on new back pipes and totally cleaned the system out. He suggested putting wiring and a tension clamp on at the end of the pipe so this wouldn't happen again. He did a really good job and checked out our back-up system. He gave a lot of good tips to us and was professional, and clean. We really appreciated all that they did and they were very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate in a hear beat for them to do any of our plumbing, I really feel they are trustworthy.

I discovered the cabinet under my sink was filled with water on Sunday afternoon. The leak was coming from the disposal. I called and left a message on Burney's plumbing voicemail on Sunday evening. They returned by call the next morning at 7:45 am. James was able to come to the house, assess the leak, and fix the disposal that same day. It took him less than an hour to complete. His estimate was between $100-150.

Jim is very polite, prompt, and is very good at his trade. I would use again, if needed.

JAMES BURNEY CALLED IN ADVANCE AS I REQUESTED, SHOWED UP AS PROMISED AND GOT THE JOB DONE PROMPTLY. KNOWLEDGEABLE IN FIELD. CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK, LINE WAS INSTALLED NEATLY.

I INITIALLY SUSPECTED MY SHOWER. DAVE CAME OUT AND LOOKED AT THE LEAK, INSPECTED THE SHOWER. HE WASN'T POSITIVE THE SHOWER WAS THE PROBLEM, CAME BACK DAYS LATER AFTER THE SHOWER WAS NOT USED AND CONTINUED HIS DETECTIVE WORK IN SOLVING THE PROBLEM. FINALLY DETERMINED THAT IT WAS THE WAX SEAL OF THE TOILET AND FIXED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY. THEY ARE A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH, WILL GO WITH THEM AGAIN.
