+ -1 moreThe experience was outstanding. He always answered his phone or at least called back very quickly. He treated my wife with complete respect. We were prepared to spend $600 - $700 minimum so he saved us a large amount of money. He was always on time. In fact, he showed up a full day early to do the job. He had the date mixed up and apologized many times, offering to come back the next day. It was not a problem for us at all. Overall, fantastic experience and I highly recommend. Professional, friendly, and extremely helpful.
Description of Work: Contacted Banning and worked with Brian Haggard. Extremely responsive to the phone call. Were looking for a full survey with markers for my lot as we have an odd shaped lot of about 0.66 acres. We want to plant some trees but a few of our neighbors behind our house seem to be in disagreement on where our property line is. Decided to get a full survey to be sure. After asking Brian for a full survey he looked up our property and realized that he was the one who originally did the survey for the home builder in 2006. He dug up all of his old records, came out to the house with his medal detector and found all of his previous markers and marked them with a flag. He delivered all his original survey documentation. Even better, because he didn't have to redo the work, he only charged us $100.

+ -1 moreWe are preparing to have a pool installed and wanted to be absolutely sure of our property lines. I contacted Banning Engineering was able to speak to the survey crew leader directly. They were able to schedule us within 3 days. Banning handled the preliminary work of researching the dimensions of the lot with the county, and then spent over two hours on our property staking out the boundaries. We were very surprised when we were shown that our property is actually larger than we had been told when we purchased it. Good thing the neighbors are accepting of the new survey!
Description of Work: The boundaries of our 1.3 acre partially wooded residential lot were identified with both permanent steel corner stakes and temporary flagged wooden stakes.
