I have them come out to inspect every 6 months. They came out within days of finding the problem. They checked with all the neighbors too. They were wonderful to me. They responded to calls. They also helped me with financing.

They were prompt and polite. They were able to fix the problem the same day it was diagnosed. They did not recommend a whole new system, which saved me money. I was pleased with their work.

Service man was prompt and friendly. He did a thorough job of describing the proper way to maintain the unit as well as basic troubleshooting. Pre-work estimate of the job was performed in my home which made the actual installation go very quickly. Price was lowest among competition.

They also give us a 5 - 10% discount on parts if you have a service contract. When they came out to service the furnace they discovered they put in an incorrect thermostat unit and replaced it free of charge. They've also replaced a humidifier($450).

I was very impressed by this company. They had the best straight estimate of 3 companies. However, at last minute, a company I have used in the past was able to come up with a last year's model high end heat pump at a low price, so I ended up going with the other contractor. However, I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

Very knowledgeable. They helped me figure out the computer program. They really helped us; since we're on a crawlspace, there are many special requirements to make the heat/air go up. They helped us find the right machines for our house. They were very prompt when we had a little problem: they were out in 20 min.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD. WE GENERALLY GET THE SAME PERSON SO HE'S ACQUAINTED WITH THE STUFF HE'S WORKING ON. WE DON'T NEED SERVICE CALLS BECAUSE WE GET THE MAINTENANCE.
Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED OUR FURNACE AND AIR CONDITIONER WHEN WE BOUGHT THEM. THEY COME IN THE SPRING TO CHECK OUT THE A/C, AND THEY CHECK OUT THE HEATER IN THE FALL.

We were having our basement waterproofed and they discovered tree roots in the pipe from the washing machine. We called ARS as we had used them before for furnace work. The tech was late, but said we would receive a postcard to mail in for a $50 check (which we did). We also had an Angie's List coupon for 15% off. The tech instead waived the service fee of $50 rather than using the coupon, as that would have given us only $38 discount. The tech was friendly and polite.

I LIKE THEM FINE. THEY ARE PROMPT. BUT THEY HAVE A TENDENCY TO COME ONCE AND FIX IT, BUT HAVE TO COME BACK AGAIN. IT IS LIKE THEY UNDER TREATED THE PROBLEM. IF THEY WOULD HAVE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM BETTER THE FIRST TIME, IT MAY HAVE COST LESS.

The whole unit was $7,000. We got $4,000 off because they were here June 1st and they said there was nothing wrong. We called them Friday and they were out on Saturday to inspect it and said there was good indication it had been hit by lightening since they had checked it in June and so they were back Monday to put it in. They were concerned about us, because we had 3 big dogs here and the humidity was awful we ended up going to a hotel. The men that put it in were very polite and good with our dogs.

Great response and on time. We have also used ARS for plumbing. They honored coupon in Angie's List on repair. Saved $25 on each service. Tech-man was very professional.
Description of Work: Old furnace t-state would not work. ARS diagnosed problem and replaced the part. Everything works great and part has one year warranty with ARS.

Suppose to install on a Monday, by the time they corrected the problem with the equipment and incompetent help, it took 1 week. Very bad experience. Started on Jan. 30th and completed on Feb. 6th. Had to send out top technician to correct a defect in the equipment. Service manager agreed to make some unknown dollars and cents concessions.

Scheduling the service was very easy to do. The technician arrived on time and was able to resolve the problem. Prior to service, he had a book that he reviewed with me to explain what he was going to do and the cost. He was also helpful in answering some questions I had about different septic pipe cleaners I might try using.

Worker was very courteous, very good in cleaning up after himself. Got work done very well, but I found the price too high. Told company about it, sent me a $25 coupon on next work. Compared to what others said on here, seemed to be about double of what others charged :-(

BECAUSE OF THE PROBLEMS WE WERE HAVING - THE HEAT WASN'T GETTING AS WARM AS WE WOULD LIKE - JERRY BULLOCK OFFERED TO REPLACE IT FOR A 30% LARGER FURNACE. WE ACCEPTED AND THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY AND REPLACED THE FURNACE. THEY DID THIS AT NO EXTRA CHARGE AND WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO DO THIS. THIS COMPANY EXEMPLIFIES WHAT SERVICE SHOULD BE LIKE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE WHO IS SEEKING A SERVICE PROVIDER TO REPLACE THERE FURNACE OR AIR CONDITIONING UNITS. AIR-TROL HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING IS A COMPANY THAT STRIVES TO MAKE THE CONSUMER SATISFIED AND HAPPY AT THE SAME TIME. WE LIVE A GREAT DISTANCE FROM WHERE THEIR COMPANY IS LOCATED, AND NOT ONCE DID THEY HESITATE TO COME OUT AND HELP US OUT TO TRY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. I WISH EVERY SERVICE EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE HAD WOULD BE AS GREAT AS THE ONE I HAVE HAD WITH AIR-TROL HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING.
Description of Work: Installed HVAC in the fall, and the system wasn't working right. They have come out twice to service the system, and the last time they replaced our system with one 30% larger.

CONSIDERING IT'S PLUMBING, AND THEY'VE GOTTA MAKE A BUCK, IT WAS A LITTLE PRICEY FOR WHAT WAS DONE, BUT THAT WAS THE PRICE NO MATTER WHAT THEY CAME OUT AND DID. THAT'S THE WAY THINGS GO. VERY, VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CALLED BEFORE THE SERVICE TECH CAME OUT AND HE WAS WITHIN 20 MINUTES OF THE ESTIMATED TIME. THEY SAID BETWEEN 4 AND 5, AND HE ARRIVED AT 4:40. HE WAS A PLUMBER, SO HE LOOKED LIKE ONE, BUT HE WAS A FRIENDLY KID. CAME OUT, EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. BASICALLY TALKED THE PROCESS THROUGH WHILE I STOOD AND WATCHED. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY FRIENDLY. THE YOUNG FELLOW'S NAME WAS SHANNON. HE WAS FRIENDLY AND VERY COURTEOUS, VERY HELPFUL, VERY CONVERSATIONAL. TALKED ME THROUGH THE PROCESS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDED PLUMBING OR DRAIN WORK DONE ON THEIR HOUSE. I WOULD BE VERY QUICK TO RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO ASKED.
Description of Work: THEY SNAKED OUT AND UNCLOGGED THE MAIN PLUMBING DRAIN FROM THE HOUSE TO THE SEWER LINE.
