The service technician (Steve) called before arrival and then arrived on-time. After determining the remedy for the problem, he generated an estimate and presented it for review. The estimate showed a total cost (including an $88.00 diagnostic fee) for the repair and did not separate the cost of parts from the cost of labor. After approving the estimate the service technician retrieved the parts needed and completed the project within five hours on the same day. A company coupon obtained from the Angie's List website was honored by the company. The cost of the service seemed a little high given the time in which the work was completed; however, this is hard to determine without knowing the cost of the parts used.

I am well satisfied with the service I received. The first service call was performed on a Sunday evening.

He did an excellent job, resolved the problem, showed me what it was and gave me a lot of good suggestions. He was a tad bit late, but I'm going to get a $50 rebate because of it, and I didn't even complain about it. I'd recommend them to everyone!

The situation they were confronted with was a little difficult. Because I am remodeling the home and additions. There was some noise problems, came out time and time again. They fixed everything I wanted them to do. The two people I highly recommend are Rodney and Dave. They were excellent to work with and to address my problems. The pricing was good.

The company answered our call within 15 minutes and arrived within an hour on a hot Friday night. The compressor was bad, but the company worked with us to get replacement under warranty and returned on the following Monday to complete the repair. Kevin is very polite, knowledgeable, and professional.

They do an excellent job. They always call us to let us know when they are coming out.

Called Air-trol to explore new furnace / air conditioning possibilities. John Wobser came to our house, and our A/C died about when we first started talking. He had someone come out to look at possible duct-work who temporarily fixed our furnace at no charge. John discussed ways to effectively cool our second story which has always been sweltering, steering us away from an expensive second unit and towards more return ducts instead. We ended up purchasing essentially the top of the line units and getting the duct work done. Our house has never been better and the second story is very effectively cooled. John and Randy(?) were right on about installing more return ducts. The installation was done in one day by a very friendly, clean, and courteous crew. By the time I got home from work he had closed all the windows, got the A/C running, and had left the house spotless. We could not be happier with Air-trol, excellent attention to detail from John Wobser and everyone involved.

A very positive experience over-all. Repairman was experienced and knowledgeable. He arrived on time, and was very helpful. He explained to me what was done and offered me a service contract to help prevent further problems. I am confident that his intervention will give my 1987 heat pump some extra life.

Mr Koen is very knowledgeable & spent a lot of time providing the estimates & plumbing education. We gladly would have hired him if it wasn't for the, what I consider, exorbitant prices. For example, $480 to replace a wall mount faucet; $249.00 1st hour to clean floor drain. We went with an independent, & my husband did some of the work, saving a lot of money.

The technician diagnosed that our A/C had a leak and recommended a new unit since our old unit was 13 years old. He thoroughly discussed the options and reviewed the prices. He quoted a price of $4600 for a standard replacement. When we said we needed another quote before making a decision, he told us that there were very few of these units in stock and we needed to make a decision now. He was very stubborn, took a long time to leave, and left mubling about his five children. I called a different contractor and got a quote of $2500 (which we went with). I felt the ARS representative that was sent to our house was a salesperson not a technician.

Our new unit was installed 2 1/2 weeks ago and we are very satisfied - 100%. I will highly recommend Air-trol to our friends and family. Their installation crew arrived on time, finished the same day and cleaned up before they left.

I have to say that they are absolutely marvelous. They were everything you would want in a company. I would highly recommend them. They are wonderful.

He presented the bill in a hurry and I quickly wrote the check. I noticed the discount wasn't included. He said to call the office and they would take care of it. When I called, they said the technician was mistaken and coupons are to be honored at time of service. They said they could no longer honor it.

Really great. The equipment, of course, was great, but so was the estimate and the treatment that I received from the Air-Trol team. They were punctual (for the estimate and the installation), did a fast, clean, and efficient job, cleaned up after themselves, and were in every way consummate professionals. I would call them back without reservation for future work, and refer them to friends and family.

Work done 7-3-06. Technician was prompt, very courteous & professional. Tune-up was excellent; A/C system now is cooler & less noisy than it's been in a while. Also, sealed & fixed a condenser, rather than try to stick me with a big bill to replace the whole drain pan. So pleased with their work & honesty that I signed up for an extended service plan.

for first 15-20 minutes service man did nothing but tried to sell a service contract or find out if we were a gold, silver member. tried to sell us new furnace. work was ''completed'' on 7/31. was not fixed. called another company on 8/4, the new company said problem was with circuit board, something ARS should have caught, did the work, fixed the problem. will not call ARS again.

They showed up when the said and charged exactly what they quoted. They cleaned up nicely and it appears they did a very nice job. They did miss a couple of joints that need to be caulked with silicon, but that is a rather small item.

Overall, the service was ok. The guy performed the work, and I signed up for the annual contract. I had wanted that, so it was a good price and bargain. The guy was professional, clean, and efficient. He was late for the appointment, but to be fair, the dispatcher screwed up. My appointment was for noon-1, but he was told it was from noon to 4. So, he was late, but it was not his fault. The office did call at 12:55 to let me know he would be late. At least they called. They also have a special deal that if they are late, you get a $50 coupon. Now, I only found that out when I signed up for the annual contract, that it applied anytime. They were suppose to tell me that on the phone when I scheduled, and the serviceman should have offered it. In the end, it all worked out. I was disappointed that, after specifically requesting an expert in geothermal, I got a normal service tech. He could only answer basic questions. So, he noted on the contract to send the Sr. tech next.

THE CALL WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. SERVICEMAN WAS VERY NICE AND I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THEM. EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY HAVE BEEN DOING AND WHY, I AM VERY VERY PLEASED WITH THEM.

We recently moved into a condo with a heat pump and electric backup furnace. Having heard horror stories about heat pumps not providing the warmth we were used to with a gas furnace we called several heating contractors for advice. One recommended keeping the heat pump and replacing the backup furnace with a gas one. The second which was Air Trol said our heat pump and electric furnace are "top of the line" and they could not recommend replacing them since they are only 5 years old. I very much appreciated the honest recommendation of Mr. Serafin of Air Trol. He could easily have recommended replacing the electric furnace thereby making a sale for Air Trol and himself but instead told us to keep what we have. I was very impressed with him and plan to follow his recommendation.

I was very pleased with the promptness & availability of this company. It was a long holiday weekend during some very hot weather. Jeff, the tech, was here exactly when they said he would be. He was very polite even though he told me what I didn't want to hear (that I'd need an entire new unit sometime in the very near future), & advised me on options & my particular units cost. I decided to have my current unit repaired for the time being but appreciated his work, advise, & promptness.

Our service tech was wonderful. He fixed our unit, which had some wires that were bad. We didn't have pay anything as the parts were still under warranty. We have used them in the past for our furnace as well and have always been very satisfied with the service received!

They did a great job diagnosing the problem and doing the repair work.
