They are very reliable. We get the technicians who seem to know what they are doing, so we have stuck with them for several years.

They are really good. The guy that has come out is really good. They are always on-time and never let me down. They charged me $600 for the sump pump replacement which I think was a little high but he showed me what he is putting in. Of course, I got on the internet and found it for 120 bucks but they got to charge for their labor and everything so I understand.

ARS had been my service company on the HVAC systems at my old home for years since they acquired the company that installed them. They also had better than average ratings on Angie's List. They had always been responsive and I would have recommended them. When I purchased a new home that needed a furnace, they were one of the first I called for an estimate. The day of the appointment, Tom called 10 minutes before the appointment time and said he had not left the office yet, a 45 - 50 minutes trip from my new home. He asked if I would still be there and did I still want him to come. I said yes, I was there and was interested in their options. He arrived almost an hour late and spent little time with me discussing what was needed or what options they might have. I heard nothing for 3 weeks, during which time I had negotiated and signed for a new HVAC system. When he left me the voice mail message after 3 weeks, he still said he would send the estimate as promised. He never followed through on that commitment either. I cannot recommend doing business with them as they were non-responsive on several occasions, indicating a pattern. If they were too busy or something occurred that caused a problem getting the estimate completed, all it would have taken is a phone call to indicate they would be declining to bid. This was just unprofessional.

They are very timely and knowledgeable. I am always pleased with my experience.

They came early which was nice. They finished the work quickly. They got right to work. They were pleasant.

They came within the time frame given, gave the options as far as fixing the furnace vs replacing it since it had been fixed in the past and was old. They also gave all the info about the govt tax credit, the credit from the gas company and a credit for the programmer. We had been nursing along an old air conditioner and they gave us the option of having the new air conditioner replaced at the same time. All the work was done the same day. The gentlemen that installed the furnace were a bit loud in terms of yelling to each other when drilling to place the lines, but overall was OK.

It went reasonably well, but they didn't reconnect the drain line that I had on the old water heater because they said it didn't meet code. Other than that, it went fine. I would only use them in the future if I were convinced that they could do the job better.

Each time this company comes to my home, their technicians help me understand a little more about heating and air conditioning. While I am not a person who usually purchases service contracts, I typically buy one from this contractor. The contracts save me money. (The price included here includes two yearly visits and a large media filter and humidifier filter.) I also appreciate the discount off all services and the priority status contract customers receive.

I have one of their contracts where they come out 3 times a year to service the furnace and the air-conditioner. I pay them on a yearly basis, so when they come I don't pay them. I get the annual contact to make sure that I can get all my work done and I get to make sure they can do my work. They took over from another company I used to use. They even give discount coupons in the magazine. I have been using them for a long time.

They gentleman that came was very professional and he checked all of our faucets with us. He did some consulting with us before he proceeded to do the work and I don?t have any negative things to say about it. We had a couple of parts installed in the drain which added to the price but I'm not sure about what is out there competetively.

They always explain all the work that they are going to do and give you a price right upfront. They are very informative and very prompt. Their price was very competitive and reasonable. They came out, told us what the price would be and within a week they came out and in less than a day they had a new heating and air conditioning unit put in. They cleaned up. They were putting in plastic pipe and I needed a piece of plastic pipe on the outside of the house glued together and they did that for me. They came with everything and they left with everything.

I have used ARS several times. They do good work. I will admit I don't price check. They have always been dependable.

They are prompt and do a very good job of cleaning up after themselves. We've never had a problem with them.

This was a messy job but they were careful and did everything possible to minimize the mess. They worked 10-11 hour days to finish in two.

They come in the fall and check the furnace and in the spring to check the air conditioner. They are always on time and polite.

I have been mostly pleased with their service over the years. The problem is that there is inconsistency with the people that come out; some are better than others. They are so large that sometimes they will send you a rookie. They identified some things that needed to be repaired with my furnace, and I opted for another opinion. I think that at this point they are more interested in selling a new furnace. I didn't have a real good feeling the last time. I felt like I was getting a sales pitch.

I had an air conditioner put in about three years ago. It broke down a year later, and I replaced it. For this job, they replaced it again for $300. I'm not too happy with them because their air conditioners keep breaking down. Their responsiveness is fairly good, but the quality of the product is bad.

They came out and gave us the quote first and when they actually came out they were very much involved in the work. They came and dug up the floor, cement slabs and repaired it everything. There was lot of work which was not there in the quote but they didn't charge anything extra.
