The charges were $25.00 or something like that. They tried to do the job and failed the first time. They responded real quickly to come back out. They did it right the second time. There was no charge the second time. I would use them again to clean out a drain. The price was reasonable.

He was a good salesman and he really represented his products. He did a good job explaining the guarantee and everything. He looked over my whole furnace and checked things to see how it could be replaced. I felt that his quote was pricey for me.

I had an issue with them. The service contract was one of those deals where you pay them a couple of hundred bucks to stand by and come out and fix your equipment. They dishonored my request and did not show up when I called them, and talk like they were going out of business. Right at the time when I needed my air-conditioner the most which was on the 4th of July and I have severe health problems. I had to go to another company and have a whole new air-conditioner installed.

It worked out very well. I have seen a remarkable drop in how often I have to dust. They were very prompt.

I called and scheduled an appointment to have a technician camera my storm drain. Technician showed up on 4/2/2010, but without the camera. I rescheduled for 4/9/2010. On 4/9/2010, I called the office FOUR TIMES because the technician hadn't arrived and each time was told "He will be calling you shortly, he is only ten minutes away and right around the corner from your house." He was due on 4/9/2010 betweeen 8 am and 12 pm. So apparently the guy was "just around the corner, and ten minutes away" from 8 am until 5 pm that day. ARS called me at 5:00 pm on 4/9/2010 and said that they had no idea where the technician was, and had not heard from him all day. I have another appointment today (4/12/1010) for between 4 pm and 6 pm. This ordeal has gone on for more than two weeks. I would not recommend using this provider.

They charged tax on their service which is illegal in the state of Indiana. We pursued the incorrect charges and lost. We were very disappointed. They did come out to install the units in a timely fashion. We had a couple of problems that followed up and they came out right away to fix it. They have given us excellent service and we have a contract with them. The issue with the purchase was very was extremely upsetting because of the charge of tax on labor. We called them numerous times to get an answer about the tax on the labor and they did not return calls. We do have a service contract with them, but I would never use them to buy something new again. They told us they had the furnace and AC in stock so they would be able to install it within a couple of days. When they came to install it they did not have that particular unit in stock so they gave us an upgrade and did not increase the price. This was very nice because we were at a point that we needed heat and they could have made us wait.

They are very good. We?ve used them on frequent occasions, and they have always done a good job. Our experience with them was very good.

They came and did the work and left and everything was fine. They also cleaned up well afterwards.

Our overall experience with ARS was excellent from beginning to end. It began with their technicians explaining to us that we had cracks in our heat exchanger and that it was really time for us to consider a new furnace...... progressed through a telephone contact and personal visit from one of their "comfort specialists".... and culminated with the installation of a new furnace..... and I could not have asked for a better experience each step of the way. All of their people were extremely knowledgeable and professional in providing the information I felt I needed, and in answering all questions that I had from my research. Their "comfort specialist" Jeff McLary, (who was a former technician himself) was particularly knowledgeable ,and did a great job of explaining everything from furnace types, to features, brand comparisons (they offer several brands), pricing, available rebates, size requirements, the installation process, etc..........and did so in a very professional manner, with no undue pressure applied. The company was flexible in scheduling, and the installation was completed in about 4 hours, just a couple of days following Jeff's visit. The installers were very experienced and personable. They were on time, asked for our input when options were available, left the area spotless, and they went out of their way to be extremely careful in not doing any damage to our hardwood stairs and floors as they carried equipment in and out. I am also very comfortable that we received a good value for our money spent. The total bill for a new 95+% efficient gas furnace, humidifier, thermostat and one year service agreement on the furnace and my AC, was about $4100, but with the rebates and tax credits ARS was sure to make me aware of, the system in reality will only cost around $2400. ARS ,as well, supplied me with the forms necessary to claim the rebates from the state and Citizen's Gas, and the information I need to provide my tax people for the federal tax credit. No one looks forward to the thought of having to buy a new furnace and go through the change out, but I can honestly say that ARS made this pretty much a painless experience. We have used ARS over the years for maintenance, and have always been very happy with their service, so this recent sales and installation experience just adds to our confidence in their abilities. I would without hesitation highly recommend them.

It was my wife who spoke with them. I used the services of a different company because of the price, as they were cheaper. I got different quotes that were lower. The overall experience and responsiveness was very good.

Excellent. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and respectful. They answered all of our questions. They left the work area clean and neat.

I was happy with what they did. They got here on time. They did the work as promised. I thought their prices were reasonable. They cleaned up well, too.

They came out on a service call and we discussed the issue we were having and the possibilities of the cause of the leak. They told us some recommendations of where the leak could have come from, but didn't actually do any work. The service person was very knowledgeable and courteous and they confirmed what I thought it would be. We decided to not do the work.

They back up their work. There was a problem where a section wasn't replaced that should have been. They came back and took care of it at no charge. I liked working with them because they back up their work. The price was reasonable for today's market.

I was getting different reports from different technicians. That has improved. I really like the technician that I have now. They resolved my problems.

They are very punctual and call before they arrive. They are always on time. Their technicians impress me, they are very knowledgeable and explain everything very thoroughly to me. They prepare a complete report and you need to sign it so you know what they did that day. I have also used them for their plumbing services and I recommend them for this as well and in general I recommend them and will continue to use them.

They identified the problem. The workers were courteous. They were careful digging in the yard. They replaced 18 feet of sewer line and confirmed the rest of the sewer line was OK. They did a good job.

They made 3 trips out here, but they didn't do anything. They came out here and told us that there was nothing wrong with the water heater. They came back that evening and we still had no hot water. I asked the gentleman to lean his head against the wall when I heard some water running in our bathroom down in the main floor and he heard it as well. The next morning when we woke up, we still had no hot water. Someone else came out the third time and told us that the hot water heater was shot and we would have to buy a new one. The guy was a little bit late. They should have looked at other places besides checking the water heater out, especially when I told him I heard water running. I was concerned that we might have had a busted pipe, although we wouldn't have had water. I would never call them again, especially after they told me to buy a new water heater. The guy's price on a water heater was $2000.00. He put some parts in which we really didn't need and we kept on paying for their service for which we really didn't get anything. It cost us $375.65. They told us that we would get the first hour free because we were on Angie's list. My husband or I should have called and said something, but we didn't. I told my husband to stop payment on their check, but he didn't do it. We were getting ready to go on a trip and I discovered the water running in one of the 4 bathrooms upstairs and that was all it was. It had even stained the sink. It was probably on for a couple of days. The water heater worked just fine after that.

They were very prompt and professional. They were very nice.

They do all of our maintenance work and do an excellent job. They are always prompt and quick to respond to our needs. They are courteous and respect our home while they are working. They place booties on their shoes, so not to track in while they are going in and out of our home. I am happy with their professionalism and will continue to use them in the future.

Called at 6:30, was told a repair man would call when he was on his way. Asked for a time frame. She said she couldn't give one. She said it could be 10 min or 3 hours. 10:30 rolled around still did not hear anything. Called back and got answering machine. Found another number to call and they said they would pass the message along. 11pm got a call from a tech that he was on his way. He fixed the issue quickly (some pipe was clogged). We purchased the house 6 months ago and according to our records no maintenance has been performed since '07. I let the tech talk me into a cleaning and tune up plan (my fault). I paid for service call and cleaning that night. The tech said I would get a call the next day to schedule the cleaning I paid for. It's been 2 days still have not heard from them. I know it hasn't been very long at all, but when you agree to something you regret the next morning and it does not go as described, it's very disappointing.

I assumed the $89 diagnosis fee would cover the diagnosis (finding a short or determining a board was bad). Without giving us any estimate, the technician found the short and repaired it. After he was finished, he gave us a bill for $255 and told us it was COD and had to be paid on the spot. Luckily I had the $35 coupon off their web site, which brought it down to about $220. I have tried to call to complain but they have only one "customer service" person who won't call me back. Additionally, before leaving the technician said that it "might have fixed it" and that we should call again if the problem comes back, which doesn't leave me with too much confidence. The one positive part of the experience was that they gave us a window of 12-2 for the technician to arrive and he showed up at 12:05.

They are fine and they have the record of our furnace since we had them install 2 furnaces for us. They also installed a furnace in our daughter?s house which we owned at that time. We haven?t had any problems with them so far.

The overall experience was very good with them. Our hot water heater had a leak, they repaired and replaced it. We had all the carpets and they did that also. They were prompt and professional, the only issue was that the water heater that they put in was defective but they came and replaced it right away. They were very quick and very responsive. Their price was reasonable.
