Plumber was very courteous and answered questions and offered advice. We used them again for another project.

The repair person was prompt in arriving at the scheduled time. I have a pedestal sink and the repairman said that he would have to remove my sink from the wall so that he would be able to assess and evaluate the repair. I felt the problem was a bad washer at the pipe fitting. I explained using a liquid draino type product on my sink earlier and then my sink started to leak. He continued to say he needed to take the sink apart " to assess the problem". He felt that he was unable to properly get to the pipe under the pedestal sink. He said it was cost me $486.00 for him to remove the sink and then reinstall it. This would not include the actual repair cost. I then would be charged another charge for the repair. I was shocked when he told me the charge for removing the sink. I told him no. I felt that I was being grossly overcharged. I felt that I could fumble my way thru the repair myself. If I was unsuccessful, then I would pay that price. I had my friend come over the next weekend. We spent about 30-45 minutes fixing my sink. I spent around $2.00 on two washers and $15.00 on a pipe wrench.

I scheduled an appointment for them to look at my hallway toilet that was running and leaking at the base. I also had a leak in the sink under my downstairs half bath. I was given estimates to repair the toilet and also to replace it and to put a new p-trap in the half bath. Both estimates were in the six hundreds plus the $89.00 service call charge. To replace the half bath p-trap, I was quoted $154. if the upstairs toilet was repaired, if it was repalced $50.

They were very good and I was impressed with their professionalism.

We called ARS (among several other plumbers) trying to get emergency service when we couldn't get the water shut off to the house. Our call went to voicemail, but the following day they did follow up with a phone call to apologize for not being able to get to us during the emergency. Needing a plumber at that point to repair the broken pipes and to find or install a shut-off valve inside the house or garage, we had ARS come to do the work. The pipe repairs were completed quickly, and we were very happy with the quality of the work and definitely with the price. The shut-off valve issue will be resolved when the crawl space dries out enough to get under the house. We were very happy with ARS and would recommend this company to others.

They did a good job, but I would not use them again just because of the price, and they were here only for 15 minutes. They had the nerve to say that they lost money on the deal. I had to pay 200 Dollars for 15 minutes. I would not use them. They were quick, they did a good job, but they were way overpriced.

When I told the service person I had a clogged drain he advised me that there would be an additional charge. I told him that I had already paid for the service, he gave me some bogus explanation about what I needed done was more than I paid for. I really need to get the job done, so I agreed to the additional charge. Knowing at that point that I would never hire that company again nor would I recommend them to anyone. The person didn't seem to know how to get the drain to overflow, so after several minutes of him running water through my sink, I went over and stopped the sink so it could fill-up and then pulled the plug. I didn't feel like he ran the snake far enough through the drain because he stopped as soon as water began to drain out. He also did not check the clean out pipe outside the house, when I told him the last time I had that problem the service provider did that and that's why I was aware of it. he made some flimsy excuse as to why that wasn't necessary.

I saw the review and coupon on the Angies List site and contacted ARS around 1:45 PM. After a little bit of time checking on the coupons and getting my information the lady indicated the could have a technician at my house by 6PM the same day. They called about an hour later to say they were on their way. Rick showed up checked the problem and had a fix in place within the hour. We had a little confusion over what was agreed upon over the phone, but Rick checked with his boss and they honored the agreement. Really impressed all around with ARS and will use again in a minute. Prompt, professional, expedient and honored their commitment.

Installation was a-one and so far the product is performing excellent. Did not want to spend $15,000.00 as I think we could have gotten a lower priced if we had time to get other bids. No heat in winter equals we need furnace now.

We've had this company out 3 times. We purchased a service plan through them this summer to maintain our "new to us" home. 1. They were great checking the a/c. They told us that they would call back in the fall to schedule a tune- up for our heating system. 2. We had an issue with our garbage disposal- so we called them- with the understanding that we had a service plan and would recieve a discount on all services. When I called to schedule an appt with a plumber- the girl confirmed this notion AND quoted with with a 19.99 service call fee. I was perfectly happy with that until the plumber refused to fix the garbage disposal b/c it was an electrical problem- but wanted 89 dollars... excuse me? I was told the rep I spoke to was quoting us an out- of-state "deal".... and they refused to honor her quote. Awesome..... and my husband ended up fixing the disposal himself.... 3. They never called to set up the heating system maintenance- so I did. We arranged a day that my husband could take off of work a month later (that was their earlier availability). That day came- my husband was at home... and I get a call at work from them wanting to reschedule. I refused b/c we do not have an infinite number of days off from work to piddle around and wait on them. The tech called at 5pm to let us know he was on his way- and that it would take a long time b/c there was a lot of bad weather out (there wasn't....) and he wasn't sure if he would be able to make it. He arrived around 5:30 and took personal calls on his cell phone while he checked our system. I get that it wasn't pleasant for him to work late on a Friday evening- but we had been on the schedule for more than a month and a half! Also, at the point when they arrived- we could've just gone to work. I'm so done with this company.ar

A couple of years ago I had a service with ARS Rescue Rooter that I'm not too pleased with. That was all well and good, that was fine, they found out that I have these pipes that eventually needed to be replaced but what I'm not thrilled with them was that it was a high pressure sale in a way. It wasn't the technician, he had to call in a manager or something to come to my house so I had the technician, he called his boss or his manager and he came to my house and I just felt very pressured to go ahead and make a decision right then when it was $5000 job. He didn't seem trustworthy to me and the amount of fear that they put in to me I think was a little excessive. That was a couple of years ago and I still haven't done it, I haven't replaced my plumbing yet and not that it doesn't need to be done because it does, however it wasn't as nearly as urgent as they let it for me to believe.

We are selling a home and had an inspection report. The service technician went through the report with me and fixed what was needed as well as inform me what wasn't needed on the report. Very professional!

Had 5 inches of water in my basement. Austin came out and cleaned the drain and all the water was gone within about an hour. Austin was professional and polite. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and explained everything completely to me.

They told me that it couldn't be repaired; they also checked out the furnace and told me that I needed brand new units for both. They informed me that the furnace wouldn't last through the winter. They quoted me $12,000.00 to replace both units. I got a second opinion from a privately licensed HVAC technician who was able to repair the issues on my air conditioner for $80.00

Jacob was on time and very knowledgeable about the products offered by ARS. He helped me choose the thermostat right for what I wanted. He performed the work quickly, showed me how to operate the system and answered all questions that I had. Very happy with the experience and will definitely use this company again.

The service call was $89.00 and the estimate to put in the toilet was $390. I called ARS prior to scheduling service and understood that the cost to put in the toilet was $89. The $50 for $100 coupon would have covered this service, but in actuality, the coupon just covers ARS coming to your home. I did not use ARS and Lowes put the toilet in for less than $120. Would use Lowes in the future.

system was going on and off too much. The technician, Kirk Hutchinson checked the heat pump and was able to alleviate the problem in a very timely fashion. Kirk was very courteous and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns.

The repair person was courteous, showed up on time, was honest about what had to be done, and did an excellent job. Quality work all around.

Everything went extremely well from the very start. Sophie was terrific on the phone in explaining the quote process and scheduling the service tech. Nicholas arrived on time as scheduled. He took quite a bit of time to evaluate my problem and did a great job in completing the work. He was friendly, courteous, detail oriented, and took appropriate measures to keep my house and the work area as clean as possible. I tried to give him a cash tip which he politely refused. I will definitely use ARS for my future plumbing needs and will gladly refer them to anyone looking for a plumber.

They do not have the equipment to clear drains unless you have an outside access to the drain.

It was late on a Sunday night. They came when they said they would and took care of our plumbing issue quickly and efficiently. The service person who came was friendly.

The gentleman that came was very professional and explain all that he was doing and the reasons why. Offered additional information when asked.

After experiencing some problems with our heating system, ARS sent out Adam, their systems whiz kid, to thoroughly go over our whole set up and get everything right. He was here for over 6 hours and did exactly that. The system now works perfectly. Many thanks to Adam and ARS.
