It went well. They were right on the spot. They called and scheduled the appointment. He came out and was very professional. He did his job and he was in and out in 20 min. He came out the next day after I purchased the deal. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The final cost of the service was $312. They told me that they have a flat rate of charges to do the soldering. I feel that I'm in the wrong business, $320 for 20 min work! But they did a good job. I shopped around and their price was comparable to others.

I liked their service. They did a good job. I would use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I think it's a rip off. It was $300 to install a faucet that all we know is we can't get under there, he would have to do it because he had the tools. My husband said he would think about it and took the estimates. We never saw them again and he had the gall to say we owe them for a trip charge. We are not paying any trip charge. None of that is in your offer there. It sounds really simple and then you get screwed so we haven't used it yet. We are actually going to try using it just so we could use the $99. My husband mostly installed the new faucet except he still can't get it tight so we think maybe ARS can handle $99 worth of just getting the wrench that they have that we don't have to get up there and tighten the faucet. We won't ever do it again. We were just not happy with that at all. We already purchased the faucet thing and we had even years ago installed the faucet there so we have a clue and because we are too old to get up in there, we thought this would be a good deal. We never saw him again. Even $300 to change shut off valves is too much. We were not happy. We won't use him again. I hope he would just come over and tighten this thing for $99 and be gone so we're not losing $99. They are in it for the money rather than actually giving quality service. Their responsiveness and punctuality were good. We had an issue with the shut off valves. Once we tried shutting them off, they wouldn't shut off when he turned the thing so we learned that. We were having a bit of flooding and water leaking under the sink because they wouldn't shut off anymore. My husband had detached the faucet from the shut off so he could do the shut offs, but the shut off don't work anymore which nobody knows that after x number of years so we called them. They were are able to get somebody out soon because we couldn't stop the water. We have hot water boiler so we just can't go turn off the water for the house. They were responsive. They did try to get somebody out there quickly, either later that day or the next day so that was good so that I can't complain about, but then he goes and hands us things. What my husband ended up doing was reattaching the little pipe from the faucet to the shut off valve so that water is coming through the faucet instead of leaking all over the floor. We're using the faucet, it's just that it jiggles. It's not leaking so it's just a matter of them coming so I get something for the $99 instead of there goes my $99. The thing about the trip charge is not in your offer at all. I'm not happy with the language in your deals. If he gives me an estimate, whether I'm saying I'm not paying for trip charge or not, he's going to give me an estimate of $200 anyway just to make up for the trip charge so I don't trust him. I don't trust this provider to be a fair businessman offering a quality deal like you are representing that he is offering. Trust is the bottom word.

John arrived on time and inspected the water softener. He adjusted the timer which is not a simple task. he noticed that there was condensation on the outside of the unit and investigated further to figure out what was causing it. He did figure it out and gave us information about the cause and what to do to take care of it. it was something we had not known about and had nothing to do with the water softener. We appreciate his thoroughness and helpful advice. We would definitely call him again when we need help.

The service was fine and the faucet has held up fine since they did the work. However, the price is too high to use again, though -- it was much more than I anticipated. $330 to change out a faucet is too high.

15 min shy, I called them, she had no record of my call, no record of the info I gave her. Had used them successfully in the past. Was extremely surprised and disappointed.

I was happy with the installation until I realized the hot and cold were reversed. The plumber was on time and very courteous. He did a great job of cleaning up after himself.

Things went swimmingly. It was time for the water heater 2 year checkup.

It went great. He was on time, fixed the leak, and finished up in less than an hour.

Sam did call us on Wed. morning and said he was on his way out. He did show up and did the work Overall, I think he is a nice person and I think he did a good job in the work he did. I thought it was good that he told us that it would be cheaper if we went to Lowes and picked-out and purchased the toilet. I did ask him more about the $39 offer -- about the $130 normal price for coming out (and how their offer was just $39 for coming out). He did give us some more info. on what the cost is normally when they come out. He explained that the extra $91 was for the time and gas to travel out to the location (sounds like a lot for gas and travel to get to a location). This is the info. on the cost for the work he did. He gave us the price they normally charge and what he was charging us -- which looks like a good deal to me. --pull and reset stool on 1st floor -- Standard Price $290 -- Our Price $131 --replace stool on 2nd floor -- Standard Price $350 -- Our Pirce $315 --he did suggest the replacing the shut-off valve on 2nd floor as it was not in good shape but said we did not have to do this (but it was in bad shape) so we told him to go ahead and replace it -- Standard Price $291 -- Our Price $145 So our total price for his work done was $591 We are not totally aware of what things cost unless we get estimates from other companies. Overall, I think this was a reasonable price. What do you think?

Very well. I have used ARS a long time and have been satisfied with their service. They always come within 24hrs. of my calls. However, the 'Rescue Rooter' name is deceptive, as they do NOT clean septic tanks? just an FYI.

He came out and didn’t do any service. I paid $99 and he was just quoting me prices of everything instead of actually doing the work that I paid for.

The guy did a fine job and would recommend him to others.

We got a maintenance program, like an insurance for my home. They are here now and they are really doing a good job. The guy just went out to get a part and will be coming back. Their services are very good today. I haven't finished out everything but it seemed to be going well, so I would recommend them. Because he is a plumber, he can deal all these things in just one ticket service. I have to pay one little fee, like $75 deductible or whatever and he'll take care of everything but in the beginning they agree with the warranty.

Austin M. with ARS was courtesy, professional and did a great job for us. We were in panic mode and he knew just what to do and he solved the problem.

We were very pleased with how quickly the technician was able to pinpoint what was wrong, and clear the clog!! He even gave me some advice to prevent this from happening in the future. He was courteous, and prompt. Very pleased with the results.

They checked the furnace and the plumbing. They are very good at their work. I am happy with what they have done. They were on time. They know what they are doing.

It worked out fine. They gave me an estimate to replace it, which was very high. I replaced it with my son-in-law. He did give me a good explanation of sump pumps and how to check if they're still good or not, etc. He spent a lot of time sort of educating me about it, which was worth the price.

Typically in my business I hear horror stories about this. I had nothing but an absolutely terrific experience. ARS was at my door within an hour as to where my home warranty service had said I could be waiting all day. My tech, Reav Wood, AMAZING GUY - immediately diagnosed the issue - "you need a new water heater" - my home is only 8 years old so I was new to this water heater business. Reav was terrific - he not only issued the call for the hot water heater, he waited for it to be delivered, installed it flawlessly and answered every crazy question I had - Reav also took the time and had the patience to educate me on maintenance for a water heater - which I plan on placing on my personal website. I hope if anything "plumbing wise" goes wrong with my home again - Reav is the tech that is sent - I will most certainly request him. One other note - you would have never known he was even there - Reav was so neat and tidy - there was not one sign he had even tore out a massive water heater from my very finished basement (thank god we did not have any damage as the basement alone is valued at well over $100,000) - but there was not one spec of water, debris - absolutely nothing left behind except a brand new shiny water heater - all for the low cost to me for $100 BECAUSE I had the home warranty! Had I not had the home warranty - my bill would have been several thousand - this taught me a very valuable lesson as now I am an "experienced" home owner who has actually used the home warranty - and have zero complaints - could not be happier! THANK YOU Reav - for being kind, considerate and PATIENT - I appreciate everything you did.

I bought a Big Deal from Angie's List and they were unable to use the voucher that I purchased so they didn't end up performing any work. The interaction with them was fine. I only paid the service call. The guy was great. I am still a little frustrated that the price of the deal wasn't able to be applied to the service call. I will use them again because I still have the Big Deal.

the deal on Angies List and the ars people could schedule quickly. I had to schedule the counter men to return and then the man who would hook my sink back up. Everything was scheduled and the plumber came but it was a man who was unable physically to go into the crawlspace. They did not charge me for the call. I rescheduled everythingfor the next week and it snowed. Ars refused to come so I had to cancel the other 2 services. Finally I rescheduled and a plumber came. He had no idea why he was there. He went into the crawl space and turned off the pump. Then he told me this kind of copper pipe could not have a turn off valve. Then I asked him just to cut it off. He left and went to buy a cap for the copper pipe and came back and did disconnect the water pipe permanently. The bill seemed quite high just for blocking one water pipe.. The repair did work, but I feel the scheduler did not listen to what I wanted and did not inform the plumber of anything.

We've had a lot of issues with basement flooding and a lot of work to try to remedy it. We contacted ARS / Rescue Rooter to do a camera inspection in our sewer line to try to determine if our sewer line connected with our drainage tile. Because we have an older house, we suspected this might be the case. Ron from ARS came out and was a total professional. He took the time to understand our issues and diagnosed the problem by using his camera to scope our sewer system. Sure enough, we found the problem: our drainage tile was connected to the sewer line, so when the city sewer backs up, it flows directly into our drainage tile and sump pump pit. Ron worked up a quote that was reasonable and would fix the problem. I would highly recommended ARS and specifically, Ron to do any sewer repairs in the future.

I was impressed with these guys! I called today about this phantom clog we've had in our sewer line. It comes and goes, but today it stuck. Really, for the first time. We've had other plumbers come out before with other companies. I'd tell them what was going on and show them water on the floor and they would give me the run around about how they couldn't do anything without ripping the toilet up and putting a camera down the line. These other companies wanted to charge about $400 to do this. My experience today was vastly different. Thankfully we just got Angie's list, so I looked up good plumbers and started calling them to ask how soon they could come out that we couldn't even flush our toilet. ARS made it out in 2 hours from the time that I called. They didn't charge an emergency fee either even though I'd been told by the guy on the phone that we'd be moved to the top of the list. Richard was our very competent plumber. I explained to him what was happening and our past history with other plumbers. He said that he thought that it was probably roots in the system and that he could access everything via the basement (that he wouldn't need to pull the toilet up and run the line from the bathroom as our previous plumbers had told me). I told him that we just wanted it unclogged for now and that we could worry about hitting roots a bit later if we had to. I left the house at that time for a meeting, my wife was still here. While I was gone he fixed the clog, pulled out some roots, and replaced a piece of the sewer line with new PVC. I thought he went above and beyond. The price he quoted in the beginning for just the clog removal was the one he stuck with ($250). Having the work done in such a timely manner, the quality of the work, and the competent plumber were all very appreciated. What a relief!
