Description of Work: The company was very responsive, showed up on time, were very polite and personable. They wore foot covers whenever they entered the house, they moved the furniture to access the returns and vents. They did a good job explaining what they were doing and showed me what they pulled out of my vents, it looked like a large Wookie! I left several times and left them to finish the job, they were gone when I arrived back home, they followed my directions on securing my home, and left me a survey and the bill. I found them to be pricey at $695, but I have always been satisfied with their work in the past. They also service my furnace at the beginning of the fall season and I have never had a problem with my furnace (keep my fingers crossed)!

Description of Work: Replace a garbage disposal-same model as old one.

Description of Work: They originally came out for the routine maintenance and found a cracked heat exchanger. We ended up replacing the entire system and added a humidifier.

Description of Work: Have a leaky shower head. The 1st tech that came out from company took it apart and I told them where to go to get the parts (Economy Plbg Supply) and he came back and said they did not carry anything like the handle we had. He suggested I get on line and maybe find one or contact the builder to tell me where he purchased the fixtures in that bath. I already knew it was Economy. He put it back together and charged me $80 for the call. I got the information from the builder and call ARS back. I gave the 2nd Tech the info on where it came from, who to talk with at Economy so he could get the part needed to fix. He used my telephone to talk with Economy and then told me it would have to be ordered and he did not know the price. However, I would be charged $135 per hour and that the part would have to ordered. He left charging me $60. I went to Economy and purchased the part myself, it did not have to be ordered, I walked out with the part. 2nd tech charged to walk in and use my phone.

Description of Work: They corrected free of charge work done on furnace by them earlier. They spent several hours working on the problem, solved it and charged nothing. They were out on another call and found this problem and solved it, with no charge to me. I didn't know there was a problem.

Description of Work: NEW HEAT PUMP, THERMOSTAT, UV LIGHT, AIR FILTER, HUMIDIFIER WATER LINE.

Description of Work: I HAD AN ELECTRONIC AIR FILTER THAT HAD FRIED OUT, HE TOLD ME THE COST OF THOSE AND HE TOLD ME HE HAD OTHERS THAT COST LESS AND IT WOULD WORK THE SAME. IT WORKS REALLY WELL AND HE SAVED ME ABOUT $700.

Description of Work: I received an estimate for replacing a rusting well pressure tank. The tech recommended replacing it, but 2 other plumbing companies say it works and does not need replacing. I received estimates for installing a sewer back-flow preventor and a grinder pump system. I was not satisfied with the technician's recommendations. After talking to 2 other companies I feel that Tony the technician wanted to put the sewer devices in the wrong part of our system so that the lower drains of the house could still backup. I will not call back ARS plumbing. I was charged $127 extra for Tony to enter my crawl space/utility closet. The ARS heating/cooling techs have never charged extra for this. He said I would get the money back if I used ARS for the work. No other plumber has ever charged me extra to enter my crawl space for an estimate.
