Description of Work: started work to clean out drains in May. unable to get drains open through cleanouts. One cleanout made to facilitate drain cleaning, didn't work. Drains were closed in other areas, was told new drain would be needed from house to the street. Job was done well with hookup to street drain an reseeding. workers were professional.

Description of Work: They do two cleanings of our air conditioner and furnace, annually.

Description of Work: Replaced two 18 year old furnaces in my home.

Description of Work: I called them out to give an estimate to install a new sewer line outside from dwelling to main sewer. the guy came out and did a good inspection, even ran a camera down through the main line, was there for a good amount of time. When he was done he explained what they would do and then gave me the estimate for the work. I was shocked when I read the bottom line of over $7,000 ! There was no way I was going to pay that kind of money for the work involved. I called another local plumbing company that is well known is the area, long story short the work was completed in just a few days, for a total of $2,500 which is a much more reasonable price.

Description of Work: They did the work in early January in the blistering cold. They took a camera through the sewer line and found some roots in the system. They came and replaced the system and fixed everything for us before it became a big problem.

Description of Work: We called them because we had two showers that were not producing hot water. I had a coupon for a free service call. They came out and said that I needeed to "rebuild the facuet" for $375. If I did not go with their quote (which seemed really high) I would have to pay $79 for the "free service call". The fine print states that call is free only if you do the service. I had them install one replacement valve. At my request the techincan did give me the old valve and packaging for the new part. I was able to get a new valve for the second shower for $40. My husband should easily be able to install it. It took the techican 5 minutes to install. The techican was very nice and professional. I just felt like the price was over excessive.

Description of Work: I called ARS to replace a riser pump in my basement. They replaced the pump and the thermal expansion valve on my water heater. They responded wuickly, which was great, but have charged approximately $400.00 per hour for their labor.

Description of Work: My furnace and air conditioning had died. ARS has been my routine service provider for several years. Came out the next morning after called. Got several estimates and ARS came in as a middle bid---however they also included increasing the insulation in my attic as part of the price. Came out as promised ---callled to say they would be about two hours late--for which they took $100 off the bill. The crew was very professional, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Very positive experience

Description of Work: We were with Air Trol for many years, over 30. When they merged with ARS we were assured that the service would remain the same, and we would have many of the same people for service. They were very late calling to do the winter inspection of the furnace, so I called them. When the man came, he said I had cracked heat exchangers, showed me one of the largest, and said carbon monoxide was leaking. Not a life threatening amount at present. He offered to put a new furnace in the same day which made me worry about my health. I opted for the next day, did not take time to price a different furnace from a different company, nor did not question the make or price. Which I believe I would do thinking back. Hindsight. It was installed the next day, the men did a good job, were neat and professional, but I wound up wondering if I should have explored the possibilities instead of getting it done as quickly as possible.

Description of Work: Removed a nonworking humidifier and installed new Honeywell whole-house bypass humidifier.

Description of Work: Drain in laundry was backing up for 2 days when I made the appointment. I was tired of vacuuming up the mess and biled 6 gallons of hot water and poured down the drain. There was no more backing up when they arrived. They did look down the outside clean out drain and asked me to run water from all the faucets, and everything ran clear. So they told me to call if anything came up in the future.

Description of Work: They worked on the A/C unit and installed a new motor in the furnace itself. I think they had done other like plumbing related things but I can't remember exactly what. They came out to work this summer because air conditioner went out on the hottest weekend of the year so I think it was July.

Description of Work: I won a large greenhouse and one of my heaters was blowing cold air. Airtrol had a technician out within one hour and it was fixed first thing the next morning. My service man, Steve, was very friendly and professional. Prices are high but I don't know how they compare to other providers.

Description of Work: We had Air Trol for years as our H/AC maintenance company. Air Trol was purchased by ARS Rescue Rooter, so this was our first experience with them. They were punctual and did good work, but not as friendly or "one on one" as the locally owned and smaller Air Trol company had been - we had the same tech from Air Trol every year, twice a year for 8 years. So, just getting used to this company.
