I didn’t like them. There was no consistency in the people that they sent out to my house. On three different occasions they billed me for what I had already paid. They called to schedule for tune-up when they tune-up had already been done. It was kind of like they didn’t know what they were doing. They would schedule it and come when I call them and schedule an appointment. But they would call me a month later and try to schedule it again. They were responsive and were on time.

The best part of ARS is their Customer Relations Dept. I had several issues with the service I received when our furnace went out this past week. I've been on the maintenance plan for about 40 years with ARS and they kept our old furnace running for years and years. When our furnace finally went out about 4 years ago, they replaced both the furnace & AC. They had always done an outstanding job and kept our furnace & AC in excellent running condition by doing their 2x yearly maintenance. I don't know what happened this past week, but the service I received was far inferior from what I was used to. I'm hoping it was just a one time bad experience with the service we received. I found the number of their customer relations dept. on Angie's List and called. Because of the great service I received from their Customer Relations Dept., I've decided to stay with them another year and have my 2x cleaning. If they get back on track with the quality I'm used to from the technicians, I will stay with them; but if I continue to receive the inferior service I received during this past week, I will be finding a new service provider. This is the absolute first time I have ever had a need to contact their customer relations dept. in all the years they've been servicing my equipment. I hope it will be the last. ARS - please get your act together and provide the quality service I've been used to over the past 40 years. Please give a cutos to your Customer Relations Dept. They were great and resolved my issues to my satisfaction!

He was very nice, he knew what he was doing, he was very fair, and very professional.

Quick response, scheduled right away. Arrived as scheduled. I was concerned it might be somewhat difficult (we have an old house and anytime we attempt any project, it always seems there are snags), but the plumber was able to easily and quickly install the line with little fuss and hooked up the ice maker with no difficulties. He offered two options in pipe, but was honest in recommending the lower priced option, which I appreciated. He also clearly explained how the Angie's List deal worked, and what my final total would be so there were no surprises. Everything worked out great and I was very happy with the results. I would definitely use ARS again for any plumbing jobs and I would recommend them to others.

After he assessed the situation, he said it would cost $185 to get rid of the clog. He made it feel as if we would not be able to get a better price than what they were charging. I went ahead and let him unclog it. A couple months later when it happend again, I just so happend to be talking to my niece and she said the same thing happend and her brother told her how to press the "re-set" button on her garbage disposal and that drained the water out of the sink. So I pressed it and sure enough the water went down the drain. Our plumbing was fairly new at the time (5 years old) and I am very careful of what I put down the sink. I don't even put food down the kitchen garbage disposal. I believe my original problem was just that, to press the re-set button, so I did not have to call ARS in the beginning. I believe I was jipped for the money.

The repairman told us we needed a new furnace and called for a salesperson. The salesperson quoted a new furnace AND air conditioner in excess of $17,000. He told us that the AC needed to be replaced as well because our unit was old and used a coolant that was now illegal to service because it was hazardous to the environment. We thanked him for his time and let him know we were getting a second opinion. Instead of leaving, he said, "Let me do some additional checking" and he went outside. When he returned he had a new less expensive quote and told us that the air conditioner was not as old as he had thought originally and it did not use an outdated coolant. At this point we requested that he leave our house. October of 2014 is an approximate date. I did save the paperwork and can find it if needed.

Service technician was very polite and considerate about surroundings .

It was very good. They were very prompt. The majority of the time they are friendly and helpful. They offer other services but we usually pass on those.

The service provider was knowlegeable and able to help provide a cost effective solution.

I have been very pleased with their service. I have a service agreement with them. I pay $150 and it includes a visit every six months. They are very professional. They are on time. They follow up. I just think they do a good job. I have never had any issues with their service. There may be some companies that have lower prices but I felt like I got a pretty good deal.

They tried to unstop it by plunging it. That didn't work. They told me we needed a new toilet. I said I wasn't going to pay $600 for a new toilet. They sent another technician out and they did an acid treatment to remove the Lime build up. That fixed both of the toilets and they're like brand new.

Their price was too high, and I didn't use them for the work. Their prices were too high compared to other guys on Angie's List.

I made an appointment for 12/8/2014 between 2-6p and they showed up at 6:30p. I didn't receive a call to let me know they were running behind. Once they arrived, I found their prices too be too high and chose not to use this company.

I scheduled an appointment for yesterday between 2-6 pm. They finally arrived at my home at 6:30 pm with no call to inform me they were running behind. Once they gave me a quote for the plumbing services, I found their prices to be extremely high. I decided not to use this company and requested a refund for the Big Deal.

They did a good job and everything was fine.

The last service was free because it is a new furnace and it is under warranty. The service went great.

I even called them the following week, giving them enough time, but the person I spoke with did not know anything about my situation. They have not completed the job. What they did was fine for the normal maintenance, but the follow up has not been fine.

One technician came out and he was right on time.

It was more expensive than we had estimated though. They were more expensive than what others have had done.

I used tem a year ago. They did a good job identifying some things. Something that was confusing was when I called to make the appointment, I told them I had the deal, they did some work for us and there was some confusion with the pricing. I was able to get a refund from them though.

He did not have what he needed for the emergency, but tied me over until he could come back 2 days later, as promised, to replace the pump. I love the new pump that they replaced.
