It was less then $100. He just did a great job.

Clay was always personable and the work he did turned out great. The initial estimate was right on. But he was very hard to track down--it almost always required two to three phone calls to get him to call back. The job took twice as long as he said it would, partially because the weather was wet so the drying process took awhile, but partially because there were multiple days when he just didn't come to the house at all. We left our key out for him and one day he just decided to keep it with him rather than leave it in the house as we had asked. He then lost that key and still hasn't found it. We gave him a second key, which he also kept, but has since returned. He attempted to clean the bathroom after finishing the work, but left quite a bit of drywall dust on most surfaces. He also lost one of our light switch plates. All in all, he was perfectly pleasant and did great work. But I don't think I would recommend him to others or use him again--it was just too frustrating.

He has never given us the estimate we requested, but we are still willing to listen.

Clay forgot to record my appointment, but he came over within a hour of my calling him. He quickly checked off items on my list and promised to send estimate within a week. He was late with his estimate, but I really liked him and I did not mind.

Clay was great to work with. He was punctual and very thorough. He had a great attitude and work ethic. Good attention to detail He even discovered a problem that I hadn't noticed and was able to fix it. He offered suggestions and worked in a timely manner. Job ended up being slightly more than I originally thought it would. In the future, I would probably get upfront written quote and then add on from there if needed.

We made an appointment for an estimate and Mr. Lewis forgot about it. He did come when we called him to remind him. When he came to the house, he said he would come back to take measurements so he could give us an estimate. More than two weeks and one phone call later, we haven't heard from him. We're not even sure he came by to take the measurements as there was no evidence of his being here.

I called to try to schedule an estimate and talked to a very nice gentleman. Three weeks later, no follow up call.

Pops Tool Chest did not perform work for me. In fact, Clay was completely honest about the fact that the job I had was too large for his company. He did not try to fix it for a quick buck. He offered suggestions on what needed to be done. Clay came to my house twice to inspect and speak to me. He even talked to my husband over the phone after business hours to explain the extent of the damage. I appreciate Clay's honesty and the time he took to explain everything to us. I will definetely use Pops Tool Chest for any handyman needs that come up.

I contacted the owner and advised him of what I needed repaired. He told me that he would be going away for a week and would contact me upon his return. I have not heard further from him. I think I should contact someone else. He sounded nice and friendly but not entirely professional. Perhaps, he was very short-staffed, or I caught him at a bad time.

He was very good installing the dryer vent. His prices are very reasonable.

Returned my call within 24 hours, price stayed within estimate, work completed quickly and completely. 10% discount as advertised, I did not ask for, or receive an itemized bill, but It would have been a good idea. I have only my cancelled check to use a my receipt.

Clay arrived at the exact time he said he would. He was very nice. The installation of the fan was pretty difficult. He had to reposition the existing electrical box in order to hang the new fan. He spent almost 5 hours on the job. I can't praise him enough!!!

He did a great job. He was prompt, very friendly and pleasant--a true professional. His fee was fair. We are very pleased with his work.

Very reasonably-priced. Reid was polite and on-time. He initially had a delay in starting the project b/c of a personal & family illness, but he kept us informed and was very apologetic. He completed the project very quickly once he was well enough to start. Would definitely hire him again!

REID MILLER IS A GREAT GUY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. HIS RATES ARE EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE AND HE IS EXTORDINARILY CUSTOMER FOCUSED. WE ARE PERFECTIONISTS AND REID TOOK CARE OF EVERY ISSUE (ALL WERE SMALL DETAILS) WE HAD AT THE POST JOB INSPECTION. THE JOB TOOK A LITTLE LONGER THAN EXPECTED (IT SEEMS ALL JOBS TAKE A FEW DAYS LONGER THAN ESTIMATED) BUT REID KEPT WORKING UNTIL IT WAS FINISHED (MANY CONTRACTORS WILL LEAVE FOR ANOTHER JOB AND THEN COME BACK TO FINISH YOUR JOB.) REID WAS ALSO VERY ACCOMMODATING TO ALL OF OUR ADDITIONAL REQUESTS, AND KEPT IN CONSTANT CONTACT WITH US THROUGHOUT THE 7 DAY JOB. THIS WAS THE 2ND JOB HE'S DONE FOR US, AND HE WILL ALSO WORK ON OUR MASTER BATH. THE FIRST JOB HE COMPLETED WAS INSTALL A NEW KITCHEN CEILING AND CAN LIGHTS.

WE WOULD DEFINATELY USE POP'S TOOL CHEST AGAIN. WE HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED HIM TO SOME OF OUR FRIENDS. HE ALWAYS RETURNED OUR PHONE CALLS AND HE EVEN MADE A LATE NIGHT HOUSE CALL WHEN SOME OF THE FUMES WERE TOO STRONG. HE BROUGHT IN HIS FANS AND OFFERED TO PUT US UP IN A HOTEL FOR THE NIGHT ALONG WITH OUR 2 DOGS. HE WAS ALWAYS POLITE AND LISTENED TO OUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS AND HELPED US DECIDE WHAT WAS BEST FOR US FINANCIALLY AND WELL AS WHAT WERE THE BEST QUALITY PRODUCTS TO USE IN THE BASEMENT. UNFORUNTATELY, HIS WORKER DECIDED HE DIDN'T WANT TO WORK ANYMORE A FEW DAYS INTO OUR BASEMENT RENOVATION, AND POP HAD TO REWORK HIS SCHEDULE IN ORDER TO COMPLETE OUR PROJECT IN TIME.

ON TIME, VERY POLITE, AND WORKED WITH ME.

REID IS THIS CITY'S RENAISSANCE MAN. HE IS TRULY AN ARTIST WITH DRYWALL AND PAINT. REID DID A GREAT JOB ON EVERYTHING WE HAD FOR HIM, FROM THE BIG PROJECTS TO THE SMALLER ONES. VERY HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK PERFORMED.

MR. MILLER WAS ON TIME, DID THE WORK QUICKLY AND CHARGED A REASONABLE PRICE. VERY SATISFIED WITH THE EXPERIENCE.

AS ALWAYS, WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH REID AND HAVE COME TO RELY ON HIM. WE KNOW YOU'D BE HAPPY WITH HIS WORK, ALSO.

REID DID A VERY NICE JOB HANGING LOTS OF PICTURES THROUGHOUT OUR HOUSE AS WELL AS PAINTING A CEDAR CHEST FOR US. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING HE DID FOR US!

REID HAS DONE WORK FOR US SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST AND WE'RE ALWAYS IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY, SPEED AND EFFICIENCY OF HIS WORK. HE COMMUNICATES WELL AND IS PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. WE'LL DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

HE PUT WEATHER STRIPPING UNDER THE DOOR. THE SILL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR IS UNEVEN SO THE STRIP PULLED OUT. I ADVISED HIM NOT TO DO IT, BUT HE DID IT ANYWAY. I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY GARAGE SERVICE DOOR THAT HAS A PAD LOCK ON IT. THE DOOR DIDN'T FIT VERY WELL. THE HANDYMAN ADVISED ME THAT HE COULD PUT A DEAD BOLT ON THE DOOR. BECAUSE THE DOOR DIDN'T FIT WELL, THE DEAD BOLT WOULD NOT WORK BECAUSE THE DOOR WOULD SHIFT. I ADVISED HIM NOT TO PUT THE DEAD BOLT ON, BUT HE DID. I HAVE SOME STEPS THAT NEED TO BE REPAIRED. HE CUT THE MATERIAL TOO SHORT. TO FILL IN THE GAP, HE WENT INTO MY GARAGE AND TOOK SOME CROWN MOLDING, WITHOUT PERMISSION, AND HAMMERED IT INTO PLACE. IT TURNED 5:00 PM AND HE ADVISED ME THAT HE DIDN'T WORK PAST THAT TIME. HE LEFT THE STEPS EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS. HE SAID THAT HE WOULD PUT A CHECK IN THE MAIL FOR THE MATERIALS, BECAUSE I WAS SO UNHAPPY WITH THE WORK. THE CHECK WAS ONLY FOR $30, WHICH DOES NOT EVEN COVER THE PRICE OF THE DEAD BOLT.

REID WAS PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, AND DID GREAT WORK. WE WILL CALL HIM AGAIN.
