Spoke with one female, (can't remember name) and she was very nice and helpful. I requested a written estimate the day she called. I have since called three times to get a written estimate faxed to me and have not received a written estimate. It has been over 3.5 weeks.

Response from BLUE DOLPHIN POOL SERVICE
I SPOKE WITH THE MEMBER AND TOLD HIM WE WOULD HAVE SOMEONE OUT WITHIN 24 HOURS. PHIL, THE OWNER, PERSONALLY WENT OUT TO THE HOME AND WROTE AN ESTIMATE FOR THE REPAIRS THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE ON THE INGROUND POOL. I THEN FAXED OVER A WRITTEN ESTIMATE AND DIDN'T HEAR BACK FROM THE MEMBER. I THEN READ THE COMMENTS ON ANGIE'S LIST AND CALLED HIM IMMEDIATELY. I SPOKE WITH THE MEMBER AND HE TOLD ME THAT HE NEVER RECEIVED THE FAX. HE GAVE ME AN ALTERNATE FAX NUMBER AND I FAXED IT OVER TO HIM A SECOND TIME. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM AGAIN. I DID APOLOGIZE TO HIM FOR NOT FOLLOWING UP ON THE FIRST FAX, HOWEVER I DID RE-FAX HIM THE ESTIMATE AS SOON AS I GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH HIM. WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM HIM AND HOPEFULLY RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.

stayed with their original "ballpark" estimate. Liked them so well we are using them to close the pool in September rather than the service we had been using for the past 6 yrs. On top of all the other good things about them, they charge $100.00 less to close our pool than the other company.
Description of Work: Sawed through concrete deck to find underground pipe that had a leak in it, fixed the leak, replaced the concrete and sold/installed a new auto chlorinator.

He arranged everything- the water, the pumping out, etc- including having all my chemicals for the year DELIVERED!!!! No charge. I will never buy from my pool installer again!
Description of Work: When it was determined that I would need new pool water in May, Phil explained that all of the chemicals that my previous chemical provider had me add was unnecessary. He arranged for my water to be pumped, stayed all day to monitor it, and added the necessary chemicals as the new water was added. He then put me on a chemical routine that adds 50% less than of everything I was putting in, which is less money as well.

Description of Work: We had a pool in crisis. We had hired a pool service that repeatedly didn't show up when promised. This went on for 1.5 months. Blue Dolphin was contacted and said they couldn't be here until the following Thursday. They arrived on time and have been very helpful. They fined tuned our pool procedures, were always very clear about what was needed and charged a fair price. We had deferred maintenance issues which made this a very challenging situation but Blue Dolphin brought out situation up to high standards in a very timely manner.

PHIL WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING WHILE CLOSING. HE ALSO GAVE SUGGESTIONS ON THINGS TO IMPROVE THE WATER IN THE SPRING. HE WAS WONDERFUL!
