This team was very professional in their engagements with me, and they were very respectful of the spaces in my home. They were reliable and timely in their day-to-day work.

Andy and team remodeled our kitchen as well as built a bathroom for us in our basement. I wanted to wait a little while before leaving a review to confirm the quality of work. Years later everything is still great and no issues. Andy was flexible and professional during the whole construction project, we appreciated the attention to detail and considerations his team gave to our family.

Andy and Bryan did exceptional work. They were timely and professional. When the inevitable unforeseen issue arose, they were flexible and able to deliver an even better outcome. They go above and beyond to make sure itâ s right. We are thrilled with our remodel.

From conceptualization to finish, Andy was exceptional to work with. We shared our vision and he creatively found ways to make it happen, not only executing the ideas we had, but also enhancing them. Furthermore, during the course of the project Andy discovered unrelated electrical issues (and ensured they were resolved); we so appreciated him going the extra mile and helping to prevent what could have been a dangerous situation. As the project progressed, both Andy and Bryan provided exceptional craftsmanship, ensuring throughout that we were satisfied with the work and the final product; Andy's tagline (Yesterday's quality with today's expectations) was clearly evident. Where new ideas surfaced (either from us or from them), Andy and Bryan executed them without complaint to ensure we were fully satisfied with the end result. Had it not been for unavoidable delays due to backordered flooring, the project would have been completed right on schedule or perhaps even a little ahead of schedule, a refreshing experience given the horror stories we had heard from others who used different contractors for their home projects. We are very satisfied with our newly redone kitchen and adjoining room add-ons and are already envisioning utilizing Yesteryear Construction for a subsequent remodeling project.

Yesteryear was absolutely amazing! Their work was outstanding, they are extremely detailed, and they definitely go the extra mile to give the customer the best outcome. When they finish, they leave the place clean and looking like new. We love our kitchen project, it turned out better than we could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend them for any project you might want to have done.

Andy/ Yesteryear Construction was amazing to work with. Andyâ s knowledge and professionalism and work ethic are outstanding. Andy was able to creatively find solutions for my older houseâ s quirks. His work is exceptional as he is very detail oriented, but at the same time easy going. Andy was great to work with. He was very willing to work with us and rolled with the changes we suggested as the project was ongoing. Given the current state of affairs with supply chain some delays were inevitable, but I feel the delays were minimal and within the scope of expectations. I would recommend him to friends and family.

I would recommend Andy/Yesteryear Constuction 100%. He was very fair and honest regarding the costs and our budget and was very conscious of our budget the whole time. He wouldnâ t even start the job until all appliances and cabinets had arrived at our home, so as to not risk any h delay.. I was comfortable having him in our home with us and our daughter, who he was lovely with. And he also was great with our pets (although he probably couldâ ve done without the chihuahuas). Will use again for the next renovation, as there will be more!

Words cannot express how happy we were to find Yesteryear! We had seven contractors give us quotes for our kitchen/bathroom renovation. Andy was honest and upfront about expectations. We were very excited to start working with him. We were very happy to also meet Bryan, Andy's construction partner. Their responsiveness was second-to-none: From the bidding process through completion of the project, they responded to our ever-mounting list of questions and suggestions in a timely fashion. Andy was able to offer his professional opinion and help us navigate all the questions we had. Yesteryear is by far the most reliable contractor we have ever worked with, which was crucial on such a large project. Andy and his team showed up on time when they said they would and hit their project benchmarks as promised. Perhaps more importantly, when unforeseen circumstances or new ideas arose mid-project, Andy was quick to pivot with solutions. With a nearly 100-year old home to work from, walls and corners were not necessarily at perfect angles but Andy and Bryan's work sure make it look so. Lastly, we continue to be in awe of the craftsmanship performed by Yesteryear. The attention to detail is something we appreciate months after project completion. We asked for a major project - complete renovation of our kitchen and dining room including removal of load bearing walls, plus a bathroom renovation to boot. Our result was space that has truly changed our lives. We can't wait to work with Yesteryear again!

We considered for a very long time on when we would remodel our kitchen. At last, the time came to decide on a contractor to do the work. Wendell checked out the reviews on Home Adviser and decided on a couple to check out. We were impressed with Yesteryearâ s reviews, and Andy Kopanskiâ s presentation. His price was within our budget (unlike the second proposal from another company). We did not realize with covid there are several challenges with the delays in shipments for cabinets and other supplies. We are so glad we hired Andy and his crew (Brian and Chris)! Andy always had a good attitude (even with all the additional challenges) and did all he could to make it easier on us. He and his crew were always respectful of our home and us. Communication was constant and timely, all questions answered and lists checked off. Their effort to keep down the dust and dirt made life much better for us. Yesteryear did extra tasks to keep the project moving when supplies were not delivered on time. Good planning, good work, which resulted in a good project. We first hired Andy to do an upgrade of our family room. He worked with us to understand exactly what we wanted and they produced. Top notch quality and in a world of blowing schedules they stayed on target and finished things on time. The second was a complete revamp of the kitchen and dining room. Removed a wall and his experience showed in our redesign. Allowed us to open up and better organize our space including granite countertops, new appliances, cabinets and floors. Tried and true subway tile for a backsplash and other touches made this a great experience. Besides their professionalism on the job, Andy and his crew are really nice people that make you feel comfortable that they are working with you on your home. I highly recommend Andy and Yesteryear for your remodel projects.

Andy and his crew are great!! They did a full kitchen remodel and configuration. Their work is perfection. Our kitchen turned out better then I could even had imagined! We had hired Andy to change the layout of our first-floor living room/dining room/ kitchen which was all divided up by a T shaped wall and increasing space in our master closet. Andy and his team worked diligently in taking down the wall separating the space to give it an open concept, they put new support beams, replaced the floors, new cabinets, countertop, light fixtures, sliding door leading to the outside, tile backsplash with focus tile work behind the stove, and custom carpentry around the island to give it a farmhouse feel, our master closet got custom work done as well increasing the space. I greatly appreciated the communication, and their professionalism and enabling me to work from home while the work was being conducted. The project started and finished on time and if I had any concerns they were validated and addressed in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend yesteryear. Andy and his team without any reservation and would be hiring them in Spring for our bathroom project.

We hired Andy to perform a complete kitchen gut and remodel, including removing a wall to get our open concept dream space. We have all new cabinets, complete with soft close drawers, granite counter tops , lighting (new pendants and cans as well as beautiful under cabinet LED), farmhouse sink, refinished hardwoods. Andy and his team also completely transformed our living/dining great room by installing beautiful car siding wood ship lap style ceiling with gorgeous beams and trusses in a contrasting color. They also removed the old stone floor tile in the living/dining area, installed solid hardwoods to make them tie in to the main floor flooring. They also installed beautiful custom bookcases and a feature stone wall fireplace in the great room, as well as a granite top huge buffet feature on the dining room side of our great room, complete with lots of new cabinets and storage. They also completely gutted and renovated our out-dated master bathroom. They added a huge shower, free standing tub, new toilet, new vanities with new fixtures and gorgeous granite tops. They installed new floor tile and heated floors (my personal favorite and a godsend for Indiana winters). They renovated the master bedroom ceiling by changing the pitch of the ceiling and installing beautiful shiplap style wood to match the great room ceiling. Finally, they gave our basement fireplace a beautiful stone facelift to match the main floor fireplace. In addition, they replaced the backspace tile of our basement bar area. The work is impeccable. We only had a few minor items come up during the three month project, but Andy addressed everything quickly. This was a very large renovation but Andy and his team did an amazing job. It even came in on time and at budget. Andy is salt of the earth and is very trustworthy. Andy kept communications very open and he kept us apprised of the project status frequently. He and his crew treated us and our home very respectfully. He and his crew were so pleasant, safe and very cautious with maintaining appropriate social distancing and other Covid-19 safety practices during the project. We will absolutely use his services again. This was the best contractor experience we have ever had. Thanks Andy! We LOVE our home and have you to thank for that.

Andy and his crew were great through our entire remodel. Andy took the time to go over all the details and would make recommendations if we were unsure of anything. Our kitchen and master bath are stunning. They also refinished our fireplace which completely changed the way our living room looks. Could not be happier with our results. Andy is amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, while being mindful of our budget! We are anxious to hire yesteryear again to do some additional work to our home! We had yesteryear redo our whole kitchen, turn our hall closet into a half bath, they did a ton of odds and ends for us, electrical, exterior door install, new floors, plumbing repairs, removed a few walls. We lived in our home during the remodel with my 2 kids and 3 dogs. Yesteryear was very courteous about not making much of a mess and worked great with our schedules! Thank you yesteryear! Andy just recently finished a kitchen remodel in our home and it is beyond even my wildest dreams! He did it quickly given some of the delays for Covid and even though our house had some issues, Andy helped find fixes and the results are amazing. He was on time and kept us updated every step of the way. He really got me and my ideas for what I wanted and made sure it was done just as we designed it. He was very conscientious about everything and said many times that he wanted us happy with the results. We are more than thrilled! He was very respectful of us and our home. I wish I could post pictures. Brian made my old hollow core pantry doors look like barn doors and they are just perfect!! Everyone who has seen my kitchen says it s gorgeous. I can t even begin to say enough about Andy and Brian. Thanks guys! I ll let you know when we re ready for the master bathroom.

Great communication, suggestions and coordination with the providers of the floors, cabinets and countertops. We had delivery delays that Andy worked around and Covid that delayed the final few touches. He kept in touch and finished the project. My kitchen is so much nicer than the rest of the house so I will be calling for the next project.
