Description of Work: We had an appointment scheduled for 10 am this morning. Nobody showed or called. I sent a response email from the electronic appointment confirmation they sent me. Only then did we get a call saying they had missed the appointment. To her credit the owner did personally call to apologize but we had already wasted a whole morning thinking they were coming at ten. The owner said the mess up was due to new technology they were using?

I sincerely apologize and we called as soon as we received your email and realized our mistake. We truly were using new technology and found that we had set it up with the wrong email address for the designer, so that designer had never received the appointment notification. We have rectified the problem. I personally came out a year ago and gave you a quote on work, we have done work for you in the past, and I wish that this had NOT happened. To my knowledge, you have been pleased with our interaction and our work thus far. While I am sorry that we wasted your time, and while we would be happy to come back out at your earliest convenience and do whatever it takes to rectify this unfortunate occurrences, I truly believe this F rating is an inaccurate representation of our company's relationship with you through all previous experiences. The only time we require money up front is if extensive design work is desired. We do not give designs away for free...we will consult for free. Fee becomes part of the down payment if job accepted.

WE GAVE A VERBAL "BALLPARK" FIGURE AND CHOSE NOT TO DO A WRITTEN ESTIMATE. WE FOLLOWED UP WITH A LETTER EXPLAINING THAT WE DID NOT FEEL WE WERE A GOOD FIT AND CHOSE NOT TO BID THE WORK DUE TO UNREALISTIC BUDGETS.

WE DID AN IN-HOME CONSULTATION FOR THIS MEMBER. AFTER THE PROJECT DETAILS WERE DISCUSSED, A "BALLPARK" FIGURE WAS GIVEN. THIS WAS MUCH MORE THAN THE MEMBER WANTED TO SPEND. WE DECLINED TO PROVIDE A DETAILED WRITTEN QUOTE SINCE IT SEEMED THAT WE WERE WAY OUT OF THE MEMBERS "BALLPARK". AFTER MEMBER COMPLAINED, WE FAXED OUR WRITTEN BALLPARK FIGURES. WE DO NOT FIND IT HELPFUL TO WASTE OUR CLIENTS TIME ON QUOTING PROJECTS THAT ARE WAY OUT OF THEIR PRICE EXPECTATIONS. WE FOLLOWED UP WITH A LETTER STATING THAT WE HAD CHOSEN NOT TO DO A DETAILED ESTIMATE.
