2 Guys Hardwood Flooring

I had Larry install wood flooring in my master bedroom, which needed to match the wood floors in the rest of my home. Not only did the floors turn out perfectly, but the rest of the experience was great. He showed up when he said he would, returned phone calls promptly, finished the job when he said he would, and pricing was great.

Excellent! I had the kitchen done first. Results are stunning and I plan to hire them again to do the rest of the floors in the house. My neighbors now want to have their floors done after seeing the results of my floor!

Larry showed up the same day I called him. He was able to properly measure and assess the situation and provided me with an estimate on the spot. He and his team started work the next day and worked through the weekend. Larry was very interested in the details and ensuring everything looked right. When I found an issue and contacted him, he was happy to fix it the next day. I was impressed with his attention to detail. He and his crew treated my home as if it were their own. Well done. We will be calling you again to come do the third floor.

He wouldn't give me a quote for hardwood flooring refinishing over the phone so we scheduled a time for him to come by for an estimate. He didn't bother to show up or call at the appointment time.

They did great. The floor looks gorgeous. They did a great job. I had a friend of mine recommend them. I just thought they were really polite. They really knew what they were doing. It was a dad and his two sons. I though the pricing was fair.

They were in my house on time, moved my furniture for me and were working hard the entire time! I was wowed by their work ethic and quality of service. Larry worked hard to find the perfect wood and match it exactly to my original floorboards! After they did the patchwork they stained and refinished the floor. It looks absolutely gorgeous and you can't even tell what boards were replaced or where the problems were! I couldn't have wished for a better experience and I would highly recommend them for any wood floor service.

It was cheaper than anyone else and the estimator was punctual with the estimate. He provided two references both of which spoke highly of this company. He was hard to talk to because he reeked of smoke. He also had a clammy handshake and his customer service was not great but he assured us the job would get done. The thing I liked about him was that he had great ideas. We had to have one of the grates moved and we had not thought of it but he pointed it out to us and I thought that was really great. He and his co-worker were really great and provided samples to us to choose from. The problem became that he did not do dustless sanding; that was probably the number one thing. There were some parts of the floor where the stain pulled a little bit but he came out to redo it where necessary. He also put down the wrong finish on the floor and came back later to redo it. We also had a problem because the stain leaked down into my basement from the new grate and it leaked onto a new quilt I had. He did not say anything about it and did not apologize for it. There were also other splatters that he did not acknowledge so he lacks in people skills. He is not bad and the price is okay but the customer service was not great.

Talked with Mr. Cochran one afternoon and got a prelim estimate over the phone. They were already working in the area so they added us to the schedule for the next morning, confirmed the estimate, and started work! They were done in the time estimated, were very nice, cleaned up after themselves, and the floor looks great. So easy and pleasant that it didn't seem like "another project" at all. Price was about what it would have taken us to do it ourselves so we were really pleased.
