Please put cones on both sides of the road that you’re working on please! (Napier street today, 3:00 pm) Had to back up my car with kids into the intersection, which is dangerous. When driving around to get to my home, I tried asking if cones could be put in the other side of the street, and the guy driving the KC Tree truck just honked at me. If you’re blocking the road, please put signs or cones up on both sides, not just fallen over cones on one side. Especially at an intersection so people don’t have to dangerously turn around in a neighborhood where kids play and dogs are walking around right after school.

Their price was a bit higher than other quotes, but I could never get the lower quotes to actually do the work. I am glad I went with KC even though the price was higher. They are bonded and insured, they came on time, did the work quickly and cleaned up every bit of debris and repaired the damage to the lawn. They covered the front and side yard with plywood and you could not tell they drove equipment on my grass. They were polite and professional. Very glad I did not hire "two guys and a chain saw", not sure what they would have messed up, KC is professional. I will have them back to prune a few large trees in the back later this summer.

absolutely great! They had all the equipment to actually lift the trees over the house and remove them. Approximately 10 trees. The neighbors also came out to hire them to remove a few of their trees.

Canceled our first appointment, never showed up for the second. Was not given a third chance.

K C Trees removed two very large trees from our yard. These were trees that many other services said they could not do. The one other service that would do it said they could only do one of the trees...and for a cost that was twice that of K C Trees' quote for doing both! So, we were very happy with the price. We were also very happy with the work. They did a great job taking out the trees, grinding stumps, etc. They even got the specific details we had discussed correct. They did it all while we were out of the house. We left one morning with massive dead trees behind the house, and we returned to both trees gone and everything cleaned up. The only quibble I'd have is in the area of communication. Ultimately we thought we had scheduled a removal in the late spring, but it wasn't until the next fall that they got to us. Some of this is due to a rash of storms that ran through the area over the summer, knocking down trees all over the place, keeping them busy. But, it was very difficult to communicate with them. In the end, we did not even know they were coming on the day they removed our trees. Still, I would use them again if only because they did such a nice job with the work at a much more reasonable price than anyone else. I get the sense they are just so busy that the attention to communication falls by the wayside. My rating for professionalism is only dinged for this reason. The quality of the work done on a project that few others said they would be able to do was really very good. We will try to use them again.

I was referred to KC Tree by another company. The tree was leaning following a storm. They promptly provided a quotation and were able to removing from a tight spot. The work was performed as quoted, they removed nearly all of the debris after grinding out the stump, and there was no damage to my property or the neighbor's property. My only complaint is inadequate communication on their part. It was important to me to know what day they were going to come so that I could inform the neighbors whose property was to be used to provide acces to the tree. I also wanted to be sure that i was home when the work was done. I called KC Tree three times to ask if the job had been scheduled. Each time I was assured that they would call me in advance. Despite this, I came home and discovered the tree was gone with no communication from them.

They were terrible. We made like 6 appointments and they never showed up. They were completely unreliable. They promised and they did not show up and never even called to say they are not coming.

They were very professional. They included wood chips for free. They asked my opinion on the trees I wanted trimmed. At the end of the service I mentioned they forgot a poison ivy tree, he said he had no problem with poison ivy and trimmed the tree right away. I was very pleased with the service.

The work was done in a punctual way. The trimming was extremely professional and the clean-up was well done. We have had KC Tree do various trimming and tree removal jobs on several occasions and they have always done a great job, good price and we have been very satisfied with their service. Certainly deserve our highest recommendation.

The crew was absolutely amazing. They showed up about 7:30 am and got to work. I had to leave for work, but when i came home the tree was gone, the area was very cleanly swept, it was as if it had never existed. My contact is a great guy named Bruce, who shepherded me through the whole process. I am an IT person not a tree person and I greatly appreciate the expertise and professionalism of the folks over at KC Tree.

They were prompt and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. They also took care of the tree stump very well.

It went great.

They climb trees to take branches down that need to be taken down. They don't take trees out that don't need to be taken out. I am very impressed with the person who does the evaluation of what needs to be done. There is no nonsense; just you should do this but you shouldn't do that for this reason. I will use them again in the future.

Called them based on recommendations from two friends that had used their services. Very poor experience with a previous service so I was cautious. Everyone I talked with from the office personnel to the service people were professional, helpful, and friendly. The office told me upfront that they were busy due to recent storms so if mine was not an emergency, it would be several days. I had a sizeable limb down but it was in a side yard and not an urgent problem. Approximately three days after my initial call, the crew was there and did an excellent job. I wasn't home at the time, but I received reports from neighbors about the efficiency and speed of the project. The area was clean and all debris removed.
