+ -1 moreJames was very personable and very knowledgeable about his trade. I did not feel pressured in any way, and he sat with me in the garage and gave me an on the spot estimate. The price seemed to be appropriate based upon what others I have spoken to have recently paid, but not having any other estimates, I had nothing to compare it to. Overall, my impression of James was very positive. I then had two other estimates, and they both came in approximately 20% less with an apples to apples comparison. I wouldn't be all the picky about a couple hundred dollars, but $1200 is a good chunk of change, and I decided to go with another roofer. The "approximate cost of service" was the estimate I received from American Standards for a two story country style home with a wrap around porch. ****************** For the record, my neighbor had his roof done by American Standards and the roof does look very nice and he is very happy with the work.
Description of Work: James came to the house and provided an on the spot estimate to have my house reroofed.

Description of Work: called to have some minor roof /shingle damage repaired... minor but a big deal to us and still work$ for them . sure well be out btwn 9-11 sat...... no show no call . waited /wasted time all day when called them around 330... profuse apologizies well send someone out by 430.... at 530 still no show and now since dark went inside. evidently they got lost. they said they were in area but we didnt know street name we always knew as walton changed when it went over bridge/into town. so couldnt call when lost/still light??/ mapquest?? google?? what business/person drives somewhere w/out specific info?backup info?? anyway... "well be out sunday btwn 8-9. " waited till after 10 and when no show still... went to church dont know about product/service but if anything close to reliability/professionalism buyer beware. bad thing is now have to call someone else... whats wrong with today business people??? guess work is so plentiful/ life is good
