Description of Work: Fixed hole from racoon damage. Attempted to fix a leak in the roof.they said it was fixed. I didn't realize for a long time it was still leaking. Didn't go to the room that was effected when it was raining for quite a while.

Description of Work: Put on a new roof

Description of Work: I purchased this deal as a gift for a friend. Someone from A.J. Const made contact and dates were made for them to look at the roof. My friend has continued to call and no has answered her call. I want to receive my money back.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal for up to 2-Hours of Winter Roof Maintenance to be provided by AJ Construction & Roofing on Jan. 16. This was due to our concerns about a roof leak. We have a flat metal roof that meets a pitch roof and water seems to be coming in under the shingles. I contacted the provider in January by phone and they called back and left a message and also responded to my initial inquiry via email. I replied to their email, providing details of the problem. I waited to hear back about scheduling a time to come out to give us an estimate of needed repairs. I did not hear anything from them, so, after a couple of weeks, I called again and left a phone message. I waited again, and no one called. After a couple weeks more, I called again, leaving another voicemail. No response. I contacted Angie's list and asked them to contact the provider, thinking maybe they could get a response. Nothing. I called again a week or two later. I finally talked to a person, a woman, who told me that someone would be out the afternoon of Mar. 1 to look over the situation. No one showed up and no one called to reschedule. I have now waited another week. Two months have passed and this Big Deal is about to expire. I have requested a refund for my $149.

Description of Work: This was a Big Deal so the price was cheap. The concern I have is that the company above says we need a complete new roof which I am not sure is really true. I have used the Big Deal on two occasions and have had both companies tell me additional work would be needed very soon. I will be getting other roofers over this spring to tell me their opinion. I'll let you know if what the AJ roofing said is true.

Description of Work: we purchased a winterization package for 99. a.j. came out, inspected roof, sealed where they could, i believe they nailed shingles that had not been nailed down and also repaired loose siding. josh was professional, courtesy and made me feel very comfortable with this experience.

Description of Work: We purchased a Big Deal to have our roof winterized. A & J was very responsive and worked with our schedules to get the services performed, in spite of the weather. We will definitely call them again for additional work that needs to be done

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for a Roof Winterization Tune-Up Including Sealing + New Roof Option

Description of Work: I used this company because of the deal offered for $149 dollars to inspect, seal/caulk roofing and flashing. The first appointment was rescheduled after he showed up and said he did not have the proper equipment because it was at another job site. Second time he showed up the equipment was broken. Third time, he said he did not need the equipment. Spent all of 1/2 hour on my 2 stories of roof. The biggest revelation came when he said I did not have a cricket, which was supposed to have been installed when our roof was re-done after the hail storm. I asked him to provide an estimate to have a cricket installed. I gave him permission to come back and be on the roof to write the quote, as long as I knew in advance when he would be there. I never heard from him again. This lack of quality and professionalism has made me think twice about any other deal offered by Angies List.
