HARRIS LANDSCAPING INC

Was a no-show for estimate appt. I had to make several phone calls to get a call back. Dave was very apologetic and promised to come the next day. Agreed on price, time of day for snow removal. (Between 5 & 6 am.) Dave emphasized his company's pride, and professionalism. "I take care of my customers." Had 12 in of snow by the next day and at 11:30 am...no sight of Dave. Called and Debbie (wife) told me of the many problems they were having (trucks broke down, flat tires etc.) She said he would call. No calls. Explained I was bringing my elderly mother home that eve, needed to get up my long steep driveway. 3 pm, Dave called. I would be "dug out" by 5pm. 5pm - no Dave. Left to get mom at Midway. Came back to driveway with 1- 5 inches of snow still on it and salt thrown on top. Called in a.m. & Dave was rude. Said, "How do you expect me to plow it after you drove on it? Now it's icy." I don't want the job anyway, it's too dangerous," & hung up on me. Somebody else plowed it that day.

I had a scheduled appointment with Harris Landscaping at 10:00am Friday 5/4/07. It's 10:30am no one showed, 11:00am no one showed, 11:30am I place a call to Harris Landscaping, no answer. 12:00 noon still no representative showed up and no phone call was received advising of a problem. At 12:30pm I placed another phone call to Harris Landscaping. The phone was answered loud and rudely YA! I identified myself, the nature of my business and the scheduled appointment time. The response OH YA! well I just now pulled up the work orders for today you're on it. I had trouble with a truck this morning I'm just getting to it now. I can come by later this afternoon OK! My response, No that's not OK. You knew you needed to be here before noon. I suggested that a phone call would have been nice. Aggravated by my response, This was his remark! Look lady I have a 1,000 estimates to give and I don't need... he stopped talking. I responded I'm glad your business, before I finished he hung up.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WAS HARRIS LANDSCAPING HANDLED EVERYTHING. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ORGANIZED. I JUST FEEL THEY CHARGED A LITTLE TOO MUCH, BUT THEIR SERVICES WERE GREAT.
