Description of Work: I had Xtreme perform two services for me. This one was the permanent finish coat and I was very pleased. However, the service I was most pleased with was my window tinting. It was very, very well done. A little more expensive than other places but the quality was far better than anything I've seen. Would never shop around for window tinting - this is the place to go.

While we strive for perfection sometimes we miss the mark. During this time we were short staffed and over booked. We always take care of our customers but this situation caused a small delay in the repair time. At the time of this reply we are fully staffed and are now 3 weeks out. If it is an emergency I usually take care of the repair myself.

I called on a Wednesday and they got my truck in the next day. Had it in at 8 and they were done by 2. They even gave me a deal on the tinting. Turns out that the factory tint on the rear windows is 28% and not the 15% they expected. They upgraded me to a more expensive 30% tint film at no extra charge. So far I am pleased with the results.

great. Zach was very courteous and professional throughout. I love the remote starter (I went with the higher range model) and the transaction was very easy. I was able to drop off my car and pick it up that night after hours. they do alot of other stuff as well. stereos, tinting, etc.

I set an appointment to have windows tinted the day after I picked up a new car. I rescheduled the appointment to later in the day as my schedule had changed. When I arrived early for my appointment I was greeted and told my car was going to be the last of the day as they were also getting ready for a car show that weekend. I was advised that it may run a little later than the appointed time but was pleasantly surprised when my car was worked on within 15 mins of appointed time. The work took approximately 35 mins. When I paid and went to my car I first noticed what appeared to be water residue on the passenger side windshield like a wet film was placed there before or after installation and was not cleaned up. Both the drivers and passenger window had small bubbles that ran along the bottom of the windows and I was told they would go away after the film dried within 3 days. When I left the parking lot and turned my car I noticed a 3 inch row of gashes on the leather wrapped steering wheel at the 6 o'clock position on the wheel that appeared to be from a straight edge being raked across the bottom of the steering wheel during the installation. I returned and showed the damage to the operations manager who assured me they would offer a solution to the damage. I was sent an e-mail with copies to the two owners that same day. I responded and told them I was disappointed with the damage and woudl like to have the steering wheel replaced. They asked for the VIN number to order the replacement parts right away. I advised them that in addition to the have a factory part that i would need to have the replacement done by an authorized Subaru dealer to maintain my factory warranty. I was sent an e-mail response that described the installation history of the the technician who did the work on my car and in that my car was one of only 2 cars out of 2,172 he had worked on that he had damaged (unfortunately for me). Further they indicated that they would be conducting the repairs on my car and that it would not affect my new car manufacturer warranty in anyway. They stated it was not legal for a dealer to tell me as such. They also included a link to an Federal Trade Commission website that was to an inapplicable topic of routine maintenance (oil changes, brake work, etc) not affecting manufacturer's warranty. I contacted Subaru and confirmed my expectation that a replacement of an integral part to the safety system like a steering wheel must be done by an authorized Subaru dealer in order to maintain both the parts and labor warranty and had Subaru of America draft a letter to me stating as such. I responded to Xtreme Vehicle with this information and again requested the work be done by a an authorized dealer. They responded that they had made arrangements with a local dealer to do the work for me and inquired about when I was available to have the work done. I asked for the contact at the dealer in the service department so I could schedule a time that was convenient for me to have this done. Further I also advised that there were multiple bubbles on both the drivers and passenger car window film as a result of debris being left between the film and the glass during installation. The next response was from one of the 'principals' of the business and that he would be taking over from where the operations manager left off as their "company policy allows the leeway to bend over backwards to remedy any situation to make a customer happy. based upon ongoing conversation and apparent escalation despite the steps they had taken he would be handling my account from now on". He went on to say although he had not seen the damage he was surprised to hear of my concern. Further he stated flat out that if they were paying for a replacement steering wheel they would "absolutely handle all communications, transportation and scheduling with their preferred Subaru dealer". After hearing this from the owner I went to the dealer they chose and got and estimate for $125.44 for the labor to have them replace the damaged wheel for the wheel that Xtreme Vehicle had purchased. I supplied him with image of the damaged steering wheel and the grit under the films from both for the windows they tinted. I sent him the times I was available to meet them at the dealer to have this work done and absent of this solution I would take them to Hamilton County small claims court to recoup the full estimated damages. The only response I got from the owner was to ask if I was "threatening to take him to court". I replied that I was willing to settle this claim for the cost of labor by their selected dealer plus the cost of the steering wheel they had already purchased. He agreed and set an appointment for one of the times I was available. When I arrived at the dealer, the wheel had been dropped off by Xtreme and they had not set an appointment for me. Thankfully the dealer slotted me in and it took just over an hour to complete. They had left the dealer a contact phone number for the labor charges to billed to a credit card but was uanble to return the call prior to the dealer giving me a paid receipt and sending me on my way, taking the owness on them to track down Xtreme Vehicle for the payment of $125 in labor and misc supplies costs. No one met me from Xtreme called or have asked any more about the grit under the film they installed. I found the entire experience with them to the worst customer service I have ever received. Not once dd they apologize for the damage they created. They sent what I would describe as an intimidating email citing an FTC justifying the reason they were to do the work and only after a threat of taking the to small claims court did they comply with the request to fix the damage they caused to my car and allow for the manufacturers warranty to remain in place. A review of their website and receipt shows no guarantee of satisfaction for their work so at this point I'm just glad may car has now be repaired to original condition before I took it in for the window tint and I will charge the $106 I paid for the window tinting up to experience. I would not take my car or reccomend anyone else take a car to Xtreme Vehicle Design for any work or services they may offer. The organization lacks a basic sense of customer service and the experience I had evidences an arrogance displayed by the intimidating communication style along with an acceptable resolution having had to be forced by a threat of legal action.

As a business owner I appreciate feedback, whether positive or negative and view it as an opportunity to improve. Unfortunately this is not one of these times. This customer came in for window tint. When picking up his vehicle he proceeded to inspect the tint for over 10 minutes. After finding the tint met his approval the customer then paid. After leaving he came back later that day and showed us that there was a small scuff on his steering wheel. Even though there was no proof that the damage was done at our shop we have a strict policy of taking care of our customers. Our manager looked at the damage and immediately offered to take care of it. In less than 24 hours we ordered a brand new, OEM steering wheel from subaru, had it at the shop, and offered to install it that day. He declined our offer and insisted that the steering wheel must be installed by a subaru dealer. There were several days in between our interactions that the customer did not respond. He didn't return our phone calls and would often take days to respond to emails. We were finally able to find a suitable date and time for the customer with the subaru dealer at his convenience. So, not only did we buy the customer a new steering wheel but we also paid to have it installed by an authorized subaru service shop. I know of no other shop that goes to such lengths to take care of their customers. With regard to the "grime" the customer inspected the tint before paying and did not come back to show us that there was a problem. As we always do, if there is a problem with the window tint we would be happy to fix it. To clarify, the member threatened us after we offered to comply with all his requests. I did ask if he was threatening us after we offered to do us requested. If this was the case then we would have to have a legal review of any remedy. There is nothing more that we could have done. We complied with all of the customer's requests and still he is unsatisfied.

I purchased a Groupon on August 27 for $79, with a "value" of $170. I called in early September to schedule installation. The man who answered told me that November was the earliest available appointment and installation would take approximately 90 minutes. On the day of my appointment, the salesperson told me that the Groupon deal was only good for a type of window tint which would likely fade after one year. I opted to pay the $90 difference and "upgrade" to a better quality tint. I also opted to wait in the waiting area, as I do not live or work near the shop. During the 3 hours that I waited, I watched the staff come and go to lunch, chat with one another, and listened to the salesperson talk with other customers. I overheard the salesperson tell customers that he could get them scheduled that same week for service (apparently the big rush was over). I overheard the salesperson ask other customers if they would like a "brow" added to their windshield in addition to the tinting. I was never asked about such a service and honestly would have purchased it. This is the first vehicle I have ever owned that I have had the windows tinted, I guess I'm the dummy for not knowing what options were available or knowing what questions to ask. After 2 1/2 hours, the salesperson came into the waiting area and told me that there had been a problem with the previous customer's window tint and that it had to be are-applied 3 times in order to be correct; therefore, that is why my service was so slow. He told me it would not be much longer. At no point was I offered so much as a cup of coffee. The tint has been in place for a couple of weeks now. It looks fine. I will never return.

We try very hard to educate each customer about the various options available to them. If one of the possible options was not offered then I apologize. * Great experience. Knowledgable staff that were very helpful in deciding on which of the tint types were most appropriate for my situation. They had a good selection of tints to choose from, most notably one windshield tint which is relatively light (& legal), but polarized to still provide great heat rejection. They were able to work me in the following day and completed all but the windshield tinting due to a very small crack that was beginning to spread. They not only found the crack, but provided me a couple of contacts to get it fixed. Upon having the crack fixed they again were able to work me in the following day to complete the windshield tint. The tint has made at least a 20 degree difference in my car that sits out in an open parking lot all day. Can't believe I lived 4 years without it.

The Xtreme Staff is professional and knowledgeable. They evaluated our needs and recommended a Basslink system that performs beyond our expectations. The installation is outstanding and the integrated system could pass for a tidy factory unit. My wife is very happy with her birthday present!
Description of Work: I had a Basslink subwoofer system installed in our '05 Saturn Vue. To protect the Basslink, a custom mount with short side walls was fabricated so that luggage would not slide into the unit.

I was referred to Xtreme by HHGregg's employees. I went to their showroom and was showed different options in head units, speakers ect. I picked out the equipment that I wanted and most of it was out of stock. The sales person that I spoke with took all my info and said he would order it today and it would be in early the next week. I was asked to pay for 1/2 of the bill. He said I would be able to come in for an install Tuesday or Wednesday the following week. I never heard anything and I called in that next Thursday and was told the equip hasn't arived and it would probably be next week. I waited another week and called back. They said yes your equipment was here when would you like to come in. I said as soon as possible. I dropped my vehicle off at 9am and came back to pick it up at 530pm. When I arrived the truck was done, I paid the other 1/2 of my bill, the person behind the counter gave me the box the head unit came in and said here are your keys. That was it. That was over a month ago and I still haven't figured out all of the features of this new head unit. The manual that came with it is very vague and written for someone that's fluent in car audio. I paid extra for the Dyno Mat to get better sound and less rattle. Every speaker in the truck rattles at very low volume. I also think one of the speakers isn't mounted correctly because it rattles just driving down the road with the radio off. I don't think anyone tested the radio after it was installed. I live over an hour away from Xtreme. If I lived closer and gas wasn't 4.30 a gallon I would be there everyday until it was fixed. I am driven by quality not cost. I will be consulting a different car audio shop to get these problems fixed. I would be shocked if this report is responded to. I do really like the pioneer head unit but I wish I knew how to adjust everything and set it up for my music pref.
Description of Work: Install stereo head unit, installed 4 new speakers, installed dyno mat materials inside 2 doors. (2000 s10 ext. cab truck) Not sure of the exact dates.

My husband had the driver seat heater and XM radio installed while I was out of town. He liked working with the company and quality seems very good. My only complaint would be the way they handled my cds. They used the compartment where I normally stored my cds to install the radio and the cds were strewn over the front and back seats as though my car had been ransacked (which I'm sure it wasn't; it's just the way they moved them out of their way). I would have expected they would at least put them all in one spot on the front or back seat or floor or put them in some kind of bag with their name on it or something. But the quality of the radio is great, they know their stuff. We had to go back later to have the rear seat pocket fixed and they did it with no questions asked.

It works great. They had initial issues with the install due to 1) my type of stereo system and 2) the parrott unit itself (a Christmas gift) not working properly. They worked directly with the Parrott vendor, swapped out my old with a new and got it working just fine with my stereo system. Knowledgable group of guys. Will use them in the future.

WOW! The service is great! Greg and his team kept me informed all the way. The car looks new and have had too many compliments to count. All I can say is if your car runs great but the interior looks bad, save yourself a trip to the dealer and a monthly payment and go see Greg and his team. Thanks Jason
Description of Work: My 1998 BMW convertibles interior was falling apart and had a blown speaker in the front. I called Greg the new owner of Xtreme Vehicle Design, to see what he could do for me. He recommended new interior and a pair of speakers. He spent a lot of time going over the color to match the tan to the original color (didn’t know there were that many shades of tan). Then to bring the black of the dash, he recommended the two tone on the seats and the door panel.

I've used them before, and they do a fantastic job. The problem was that my spoiler was painted the wrong color and after waiting for 3 hours, they couldn't get the job done that day. However, they were able to tint my windows and it looked very professional. They promised to give me a call that day and reschedule soon, but never called me back. In fact, it was over a week later that I was able to get this spoiler repainted and installed and I had to call them each day in between to check in because they failed to call me back each day that they said they would. It was a bad experience because I had to keep rescheduling and moving my car out of storage because of this. If you have time, then I would recommend them because they do a great job, there is just a lot of bad communication and time wasted in the process.

This man quotes a price on a service and then after the service adds sales tax. This is a Scam. Everyone knows you don t have to pay Sales Tax on Services. I question him on this matter and he said he was taxing me on the product. This is baloney because he taxes me for the full cost labor and product. If it was a true sales tax he would not have taxed me on the labor! Be-aware this guys is a Scammer! He also missed two appointments.

HE WAS EXPECTING NOT TO PAY ANY TAX WHICH CANNOT BE DONE BY LAW WHEN A MATERIAL IS INVOLVED. IF HE WOULD HAVE PROVIDED HIS OWN WINDOW TINT, THERE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ANY TAX ON THE SALE. Made a call last week to schedule a Tuesday, 9 am appointment, getting driving directions to their new location. Directions were perfect and I arrived at 9 am. Car was taken into garage immediately and done by 10 am! Nice waiting room and very friendly, helpful staff. Car looks great!
Description of Work: In 2001 had them put window tinting on my Subaru. Due to 4/14/06 hail loss, two windows were replaced so had them do the same tinting on these windows as originally done. The 2001 job has held up beautifully and expect the new tinting to do the same. Extremely courteous and did a very professional job. Will highly recommend them to others and use them again whenever I get a new car. Terrific job- both times!

MY APPOINTMENT WAS FOR 10:00, I ARRIVED AT 10:10 (I HAD CALLED TO LET THEM KNOW I WOULD BE A LITTLE BIT LATE.) THEY GOT ME IN AT 11:30. THEY SAID IT WOULD TAKE ABOUT 1 HOUR WITH 2 MEN. IT WAS FINISHED AT 1:30. THE PRICE THEY QUOTED WAS $209 AND CHARGED $259. THEY SAID DIDNT WE TELL YOU ABOUT THE MODULE WE HAVE TO PUT IN? THEY HAD NOT. TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THEY DID NOT DO THE INSTALLATION CORRECTLY. THE UNIT DOES NOT WORK CORRECTLY AND I HAVE TO GO BACK TO HAVE THEM FIX IT.
