It took THI a year to complete the project. Biggest problem with this company is lack of communication across the entire company, including Steve, the owner. We were to have windows installed in July 2021 but nobody came to install or told us they were not coming. This went on throughout 2021 with scheduled appointments and then several excuses for why they were not coming. We didn't know they were not coming until we called and asked them. Finally in October 2021 2 installers came to put in windows. Ted, the installer started talking how he could "build up the bottom of the window" and we asked why he needed to do that. 1 window was 3" shorter than the old window and the other 5 windows were 4" shorter than our old windows. We refused the windows and sent them back with Ted. Nobody bothered to call us about that. Finally, we get an install date for May 1. Again, no show, no call. At last, Ted showed up on June 13 and had windows installed and wrapped by Friday. We were on vacation the following week. On Monday, June 27 I texted Ted to see when he would be back to finish trim and staining on inside. He "wasn't sure". On Friday, July 1 I emailed THI explaining that my husband starts chemo on July 7 and it would be great to have this project behind us. Ted came on Saturday July 2. A walkthrough was scheduled for 2 on July 5. When Quinn didn't show up or call by 3 I called him. He has covid and thought his office would call and reschedule appt. On Wed. AM Corey came, took pictures, left some THI stuff and picked up the check. We have never had so many problems with a company communicating with us. These people can't be trusted to follow through on much of anything. It's terrible I had to play the "cancer card" to get a response.

First let me start off by saying that this review is from my experience with one or two individuals that work for the company. Their processes and the lack of accountability really surprised me. We had hail damage on roof and siding. We also had some issues with something called Ice daming, which is new to me. We had a few different companies come out and give quotes. We decided to go with Taylor based off the conversations we had with Randy as he went over our options and the ability to get the job done quickly. Within a couple of days a crew was out and started the process. The installation looked to be good throughout the day and Randby called to let us know that the crew needed to return to finish the job. This is we're things started going downhill. Only one of the men showed up and before long he was gone. There was no communication that he was finished nor did leave any paper work. I started to look things over and found roof supply left in yard and driveway. I reached out to Randy and he said that someone would be by to pick up the remaining supplies later. How about three weeks later. We had a few issues with getting Randy to keep us in the loop with the insurance company and the scheduling of the siding. Never happened. My wife and I had to have our adjuster call Taylor about what was going on or not going on. Randy came and took a sample of the siding to send in, another three weeks goes by with no communication. Randy calls about the remains balance for the roof, we paid and another month goes by with no communication. We continue to call Randy or the company and no one seems to know anything about anything. Randy calls out of the blue about samples for the siding and another month goes by with no communication. I decided to speak with someone from Taylor about our concerns and got brushed off about they are still waiting for the insurance company to get back with them. Never communicated. Here it is almost a year and we still have a sample of siding and no siding on the house. My advice is if you go with them, make sure you get the ok's from someone from the office themselves. This has been the worst experience I have had with any contractor for sure.

Taylor Home Improvement (THI) was referred by Franklin Window & Door to provide Marvin replacement windows. Contacted THI on 1/14/21. A rep from THI came on 1/18 and took measurements and information and said he'd send a quote by 1/20. Nothing was received. Then on 2/2/21 received a call from another THI contact saying the initial contact had left THI and asked where we were with the project. Due to this experienced we moved on.

Contract was signed with Paul (sales consultant) in March, but due to COVID-19, we delayed having work done until late summer. Requested start dates many times. Promised Labor day, but again delayed. Firm start date last week of September only after I complained to Steve Taylor, the owner. Another delay when wrong materials were delivered. Work not completed until late October. After first significant rain, I noticed that rain water was cascading over the edge of the porch, which was the original problem causing the damage. I sent Paul a video of the water flow problem before THI repairs were made and after THI repairs were made and the videos look identical. I complained to Paul and he recommended gutters, which were objectionable to me and would require HOA approval (unlikely). I proposed installing a channel on top of the membrane to force the water to the side edges of the porch. Paul was not supportive, since he said it would likely fail. I told him I would not hold him responsible if the adhesive did not seal to the membrane. Then after all this Paul informs me the contract was only to repair the damaged boards, but not to address the "water flow issue". I feel this is a breach of contract and a real integrity issue for THI. Why would an owner request that damaged boards be replaced, but then not address the root cause? In addition, when the work was being done, Ted the contractor tore a hole through a window screen. Ted took the screen with him and said the screen will be promptly repaired, then returned to our home. That was 3 1/2 weeks ago and the screen has not been returned.

Very professional and on time, actually ahead of time on completion. Cleaned up after job and didn't damage plants or other structures. Quality of product looks great and comes with an excellent guarantee. Will have gutters installed next by the same company.

Taylor Home Improvement cancelled the appointment without notice. We had to call after the fact and that is when we were informed of the cancellation.

I could not be more happy with the job they did. Every inch of the roof is perfect, and they did an incredible job cleaning up and taking care of our property.

They did not start on the date we were told they would. We did not receive calls to tell us that the were not coming. We would have days when they never showed up and did not know when they would show up. Wrong doors were ordered and had to be ordered. The work took a lot longer then anticipated. The work they did do though was good. Communication is lacking between all parties. We also contacted Steve Taylor and he assured us this would not happen again. We decided to go with the on a remodel project of our bathroom and again communication has not improved. We will no longer be using this company.

Estimated completion time 6-8 weeks, now on month 3 and the job is still not completed. The ceiling has been done 3 different times since it has not been done to satisfaction. Things were added to the estimate after it was initially given, adding extra costs not previously given. They have also been inconsistent with showing up for work, sometimes not showing up for days/weeks at a time.
