Description of Work: Several electrical projects. I got charged for 2 extra hours because he brought a helper and was not told about that up front. Was not happy about that at all but the work they did was very good.

Description of Work: We recently moved into a house and there were lights not working correctly and a breaker that kept getting tripped. We called and they were able to come out next day (even around the holiday). They were quick and efficient. They took the time to explain and show us exactly what they were doing. They gave us some advise on wiring already run, of which we very well might have done in the future through them. They came through in a pinch!

Description of Work: Service was originally scheduled for May 15, but Jason Swan requested via email that the service date be changed to May 14. We sent a response agreeing, but got a bounce-back. Mr. Swan emailed the morning of May 14 to say he had scheduled other work and could not be out as originally scheduled. He also said he had inadvertenly deleted our phone number, which is why he had not called earlier. I called him to learn when he could be rescheduled. He was apologetic, but said it would be another 9 days before he could provide service. The intended work included checking accent lighting in a large china cabinet, which we had emptied in anticipation of Swan's arrival. We felt 9 days was too long to live with a dining room table covered in stemware, so we called Mr. Swan and cancelled. No services were performed. I consider that part of this outcome is on us for failure to follow up to the bounce-back, and part on Mr. Swan for failing to find another means of contacting us before scheduling other work in place of our original appointment. We have since contacted another service provider that was able to be out in 2 days, and is performing the work now.

Description of Work: I purchased the $99 deal from Swan Electrical and then contacted them afterward to set up an appointment, and left a voice mail. Jason Swan called me back the following day and said because he runs his business on his own that his calendar was booked until about a month from now. I needed the services sooner so that was not going to work for me so I need to look elsewhere.

Description of Work: The night before, our house suffered electrical damage from a storm. The following day, we called several places that could not respond for several days. Jason was able to come the next day, he was prompt, professional and honest. He checked everything thoroughly, replaced two blown breakers, checked all the outlets, garage door opener, intercom system, even our electronic pet fence. He wrote an itemized report and emailed the next day for our insurance company. We are more than pleased with Jason Swan/Swan Electrical, and appreciate his services and helpfulness. Will definitely recommend Swan Electrical and use them in the future. :)

Description of Work: Jason performed services at two locations for me for a combined price of $300. The first involved going from Noblesville to Indianapolis to remove wires from a business sign so that I could avoid a city fine. He understood the urgency and went immediately. It was very snowy and the wires were outside and I was dubious he could work under those conditions but he did so promptly. The second was to replace a questionable cone light with an updated technology. He wore booties in my house and did not make a mess. I found him knowledgeable, reasonable and courteous. He did everything as promised so I consider him very reliable. Further, he spent time explaining options to me and costs. Coincidentally, a bank of lights had gone out the night before due to my hooking up two heaters to a power strip so he took care of that breaker situation also. He was very professional and he will be my choice in the future when I have electrical problems of any sort.

Description of Work: Install under cabinet light fixture in laundry room requiring drilling through the bottom of the cabinet and the top plate supporting the wall of the laundry room; fishing the electrical wire through the holes that he drilled and splicing into an existing circuit with the connections made in a new junction box. Mr. Swan was very punctual, worked very hard and diligently in completing the project and cleaned up the debris left in completing the project. I expect to use him again in the future.
