We purchased the $99 for 2 hours of electrical work deal here on Angie's List in order to have an issue with lights flickering in our home investigated. Mr. Swan was very quick to respond to communications, flexible with scheduling and clearly explained his findings as well as the solution. He arrived on time, wore shoe covers in the house and quickly identified the source of the issue. He completed the work in the 2 hour allotment and the only additional cost was for parts needed. I am extremely happy with his work and he will definitely be our "go-to" electrical guy. It is refreshing work with a business in which calls are answered by the owner rather than a answering service and to have an electrician who is professional but also able to explain things clearly to we nonprofessionals! I would highly recommend this company.

After I purchased the deal, Jason sent me a follow up email and then called to see if we were ready to schedule. I scheduled a time for him to come estimate the job. He came out and gave me a rough estimate, which he followed up with an accurate estimate by email later that same evening. He came back on the prescheduled date of service and went to work. He completed the job within two hours and cleaned up when he was done. My Mother is so pleased with the efficiency with which Jason worked and loves her fireplace. Jason did a great job, was very pleasant and I would highly recommend his services to anyone needed electrical service. I am calling him to come out and complete a few small electrical issues in my own home now!

I was extremely please with Jason Swan. I called him on Thursday morning and he came out that afternoon to look at what I needed done. He called me back later that day to let me know when he would be back out to fix the problem. The day of service, he called me that morning to let me know the time he would arrive. He was extremely responsive, very professional, and very timely. I would highly recommend Jason.

Provider fit me into his schedule at the last minute and kept me notified by telephone to give me an arrival time. Was friendly, wore shoes coverings into the house and gave me a very fair price for the work. I would recommend this company to anyone. He was also very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I sometimes feel people who repair things (elecrical/plumbing/ect) can occasionally be condescending to women. This was not the case with Swan's. I couldn't be more plaeased.

I called Jason to see about repairing a faulty light fixture on a ceiling fan and in a bathroom. He told me that when a socket in a fixture goes bad, it's probably more economical to replace the whole fixture. I asked for an estimate of the cost for the work, and when he told me, I said "I'd be better off with your $99 deal, then, wouldn't I?" He agreed right away, and said he'd honor that, so I purchased the deal and e-mailed Jason to tell him I had done so and see about scheduling, since I needed the work done after 5 or on a Saturday. He replied that he could do that, but not for a week or two. Later he e-mailed me that he had an opening on Wednesday afternoon if I could somehow manage that, and I made arrangements to be available. He called, as promised, when he was about 20 minutes away. I showed him the strange interference the light fixture caused with my TV, which I feared indicated a wiring issue. He told me he doubted that was it; he replaced the fixture, and the problem was gone. He changed both light fixtures in less than an hour, so I asked him to take a look at outlets in the garage that had suddenly stopped working, and he found the problem and changed both of those, explaining to me how one affected the other. He was efficient, very pleasant, and answered my questions completely and honestly. I paid for the parts used in the garage, as was clearly stated in the deal, and feel I definitely got my money's worth. I have already recommended him to a co-worker; I'm quite pleased.

Then he provided a quote on everything we wanted done by individual jobs. Once we confirmed what we wanted done, we scheduled a time for him to come over. He arrived on time and reconfirmed what we were having done. He was professional and cleaned up his mess when he was done.

He confirmed work to be done through two separate visits and has since consulted on some other electrical projects. I was impressed by his honesty and could tell that he really wanted to make sure his services met all of our expectations. Because they had moved into the house only a few days earlier, they asked to call Jason back when they knew exactly what they wanted him to do. When they called him, he arrived promptly, performed the work quickly and efficiently, and was courteous and professional. My daughter even called him again to have some additional work done. Jason is a professional in every sense of the world. He has become my daughter's "go to" electrician, and, based on what she tells me, he may very well become mine. Recommended highly!

Jason is a really nice guy, extremely punctual. He confirmed the appointment the day before. We had bought a Big Deal coupon for 2hrs of work, and he finished our job in less than one, so he offered his services any where else we might need him. He then installed another outlet in our garage. We couldn't be happier with his services and will definitely use him again! We highly recommend him.

I typically pay people to do electrical work, since I dont want to mess around with something that will kill me. I had to re-wire a stove from a 4-pin connector to a 3 pin. Jason came on time, and was extremely pleasant to be around. He was friendly with my dog, made pleasant conversation, and even wore little plastic booties in my house so he wouldn't track in moisture from that morning's rain. He re-wired the stove and checked that it worked. Jason is our go-to Electrician from now on.

The microwave and a hanging light fixture had quit working, so I called Jason Swan for help. He arrived on time and quickly assessed the situation. He diagnosed the problems and determined that there was a faulty receptacle that was presenting a fire hazard. He replaced and rewired the receptacle, which restored power to the microwave and the light fixture. Jason thoroughly explained the problem and the solution in a user-friendly, yet professional manner.

I called Swan Electrical because the previous repair person had suggested that the breaker box had water damage. Jason Swan checked out our circuit breaker box and the outlets that had been replaced previously. All checked out OK, no issues were found. He was prompt and courteous.

We have used Swan Electrical in the past of installing new light fixtures, connecting TV and video cables inside a wall to a wall mounted TV, and adding new outlets. Recently, we called Swan when a bathroom light switch wasn't turning on the lights or fan. Jason stopped by after our call to him after finishing another job. He looked at the switch and immediately discovered the problem, a loose wire. Because the problem was so minor, he didn't charge us a fee for his work. The job was done quickly and accurately.
