Stone By Design

I was taken back by how difficult it proved to get an even piece to go flush with my stove because the stove has a raised lip that comes up an inch. They said there would have to be a lot of extra work involved and there was nothing that they could do to help. Ultimately I had to remedy the situation on my own and we purchased two $150 stainless steel strips after the fact to finish off the project. It should also be that the best piece of granite is used at the most visible place and that did not happen here. They should have selected the best piece for the bar and they didn't. I am reminded everyday of this inaccuracy because I see the trouble spots in high traffic areas. They were not very pleasant in discussing my options. The customer service aspect was very poor throughout the remodel. I just wanted help to make it look right and it seemed that all they were concerned about getting their money and after receiving payment they shut the switch off. The other issue came on the scheduled week of their start date. We always have company over for race day and they got a late start.
