Description of Work: We had a pipe burst in our basement that resulted in water damage. The drywall needed to be replaced in one external wall and part of another internal wall. The drywall was replaced, as well as insulation put in the external wall.

Description of Work: We had a leak in our living room. After getting the roof repaired we had them come out to replace the damaged drywall. They did excellent work. We called them on Thursday afternoon had an estimate the same day. They did the work the following Saturday. We couldn't be happier with the craftsmanship. They did excellent work matching the existing stamping to the new drywall. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: We had a patch in the textured kitchen ceiling that needed to be repaired due to water damage. Bill Stevens promptly returned my phone call and came out same afternoon and quoted the job. Bill and Jorge came out the next morning. They covered everything in the kitchen with plastic and cleaned up nicely following the job. The job was done quickly and perfectly matches the ceiling texture. We are very pleased with the work and have absolutely no complaints. Job very well done!

Description of Work: I had a water break on my first floor which then flooded my finished basement. The insurance company had the mitigation restoration company out the same day to start drying and removing water. They also had to cut all of my drywall 2 foot up from the floor in my finished basement and stairwell to help dry it out. I have a textured finished ceiling in the basement which was also damaged. I got bids from the companies under contract with the insurance company and also several bids from contractors local that were rated favorably on Angie's list. Bill came out personally to do my estimate. He was knowledgeable, courteous, prompt, and actually a really nice guy. His bid was on the low to medium range of what I had received and his knowledge and attention to detail with the estimate on the high side. He let me know he was backed up for two weeks right up front and how long it would take him to complete the job. I awarded the job to Bill and could not have been happier. He personally did not do any of the work himself but inspected his crew every day to inspect their quality of work and that they were on the correct time frame for completing the work on time. The new textured ceiling was great and I received compliments from other contractors (trim, carpet, paint) about what a good job they had done. They also did the two foot base of the walls to perfection and you can not even tell where the seams are. I have done my own drywall work in the past and to watch his guys accomplish in days what would have taken me weeks and do it better than I could have done myself was pretty amazing. They were always polite, courteous, and worked hard. Yes his crew are Mexican so don't be surprised if there is a little language barrier at times, but I don't have one complaint about Bill or any of his workers. The individual that gave Bill the "F" for being up front and honest about his job and the potential risks should have thanked him rather than ripping him on here. Description of Work: We used Steven's Drywall before, I have been happy with them as my wife. They are professional and puntual. They block any dust with plastic everywhere, floors, walls, open doorways, and did a great job cleaning up. The work entailed after I removed a 5 X12 foot section of drywall; they replaced, removed popcorn texturing from the rest of a 12 X 14 foot room and then did tapping and remudded the wall with a texture to match other rooms adjoining this room.

I had framed the space myself and had an electrician install all the necessary wiring and lighting. The space was large, about 1000 square feet over two rooms. I also used steel studs instead of wood.
