This company was great and I would hire them again! Bill came out quickly and explained what could be done to make some pretty extensive repairs in my garage and home. Several sheets of drywall had to be hung and a couple of existing ones had to be replaced. They completely retextured my ceiling in the garage and patched a couple of spots and retextured them in my home. The price was reasonable. He was fair and honest. He and the crew arrived on time for the work. They did a great job of protecting my floors by putting paper down and covering items in my house with plastic.. They stayed late to finish the work inside my house in one day, so that I could get the house put back together. They again arrived on time the second day and completed the work in the garage. Bill did a great job managing the business and his crew and checked up on the work to make sure I was satisfied. He answered all of my phone calls, even if they were after hours. The crew was very polite and professional. I was impressed with the quality of the work.

The provider came out and gave us an estimate, which was lower than one of the others we got. As both of the providers were rated highly on Angie's List, we decided to go with this provider. When he arrived for the work with his crew, he was pretty upset. He felt that we should have cleaned out the basement and garage more so that his crew could move around. He had asked us to straighten up, which we did. I was frustrated because if he wanted more than straightening up, he should have made that very clear. After 10-15 minutes of hemming and hawing I asked him if he still wanted to do the job, as I could get someone else. He asked for more money and I agreed (although in hindsight I wish I hadn't). The ultimate costs ended up being what the other provider quoted us in the first place. They got done earlier than expected, but again in retrospect, I didn't inspect the quality of the work until after they had left. I've had a few painters come in to give quotes (all from Angie's List recommendations) and all 3 of them asked when will the drywall guys come back and finish. They commented that the quality of the work was not good and we would need to pay more for them to do the sanding and patching that should have been done by the drywallers. I wish I had gone with the first provider because their quote seemed more realistic and he just seemed more professional. A lesson for me to not always go with the lowest bid and to watch what they are doing closely. I also should have listened to my gut and let the providers go after the initial hemming and hawing and extra cost.

I was in the process of having a new concrete floor installed in my garage. Over time some of the drywall has been damaged and there were a couple of places where sections had been removed. I called Bill Stevens and he was able to work me into his schedule right away. His workmen arrived on time and performed the work in a very professional manner. I would not hesitate to use Stevens Drywall again and would recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

Bill Stevens worked very hard to fit me into his schedule so that I could paint on my scheduled days off. The crew came in and made all required repairs and did a great job matching my ceiling texture. Great work at a very reasonable price! Highly recommend Bill.

This company was fantastic! Bill was very knowledgeable about his trade and confident with his workmanship. He gave us a good quote which by far was the most competitive compared to some other dry walling companies on Angie's list. He was honest and reliable and stood by his word. The crew were FANTASTIC!!... They came on time everyday and worked SOLIDLY throughout the entire day!! Not even leaving for a lunch break! ( Bill bought them their lunch!). They were clean and protected our wood floors and carpet upstairs. They completed the entire project in just under a week! The end product was absolutely amazing! Our basement finally looks like.....a BASEMENT!! And not just a cold concrete space! We really wished we found Stevens drywall first! They also cleaned up and removed all debris and trash! Called Bill Stevens a couple days after I had the plumbing part of the issue squared away in order to fix the drywall hole. He got back to me within a day or so and actually stopped by over the weekend to give the estimate on the work. After I contacted him to let him know I wanted to move forward with the project, there was a bit of a delay in response but I found out it was due to a family matter. He was apologetic for the delay but I wasn't in a huge hurry to have the drywall fixed so it wasn't a big deal. He had two crew members come out the following week as scheduled and they took care of the work within 2 hours. I haven't painted it yet but the repaired section blends in well with the rest of the drywall. I would use them again for further drywall needs.

It was miraculous! I also liked the way they constructed a little plastic chamber (with plastic sheeting) around the workspace to keep the sanding dust confined to that space. It was great when it was finished. I've always considered good drywallers and carpenters like magicians, because they can turn a badly damaged spot into a perfect spot in a very short time, and that's exactly what they did!

It went fine. They were nice and very good. They came back and they wanted me to flag any problems I found. They were really quick about coming back out. They charged me exactly what the original quote was. I was mostly happy with the way it turned out. There were only a couple of areas that were not up to my expectation. I had started drywalling and finishing a toilet closet area & hallway and requested they complete the work, which they did. However I was not completely satisfied with the outcome and touched up the areas myself. That is why I originally marked them down to a "B" on professionalism. I felt they did not make the same effort making the area I started look as good as the area where they did all the work. I would hire them and recommend them. I've since adjusted that grade up to an "A" as they probable have come back and touched up had I called. Price is a "B" as the price was in line with other quotes. Punctuality got a "B" since they were late arriving on one day.

Fantastic work, they taped and mudded the entire basement and after i painted not a single spot needed to be touched up. To me that is amazaing, to have color on the wall an no need for a return visit to correct a crease, or imperfection was phenomenal. My only regret is I don't have any more work for them to do. Best vendor I used on my project (finish basement)

I chose this company because of Angie's List reviews. I wanted the textured ceiling to look as if it had not been repaired. They came out, gave me a reasonable estimate and stated they could do the job the next week. Due to the weather, it was delayed a day, which was fine with me. The crew came out, spent a lot of time in preparation, making sure my furniture, etc, was protected. They took a lot of care to do the job right, even working on more of the cracks than was originally discussed. One crack was almost twenty feet up in the air. They fixed that one and several more while they were up there. When the job was completed, you cannot tell where they replaced texture....and excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves and handled themselves very professionally. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Bill first came in, gave free estimate, then came in a week's time with his crew. They did a pretty good job within two hours without any mess and after clean up job for us. He is a very reliable and friendly person, was definitely satisfied.

I had gutted a larger bedroom (14' x 18') and hired Stevens Drywall to hang and finish new drywall on the walls and ceiling. The work was done quickly, cleanly, and accurately. The job was complicated by door recesses and niches, all of which were handled very well. I have primed and painted the walls and hung the trim, so I can vouch that other than one small spot, which probably reflects my framing rather than their work, there were no irregularities nor problems. The crew was very attentive to neatness and applied plastic coverings throughout the adjacent rooms. Stevens estimate was about 5% more than the best estimate that I received, but I am very glad that I used him.

Bill was very professional and very confident that he could complete the work within a week. His price also beat two other contractors who were not as confident about how they would get the drywall down in the basement, let alone the timeframe for completion. Based on my impressions, a chat with one of his references, and the reviews I read on Angie's List, I felt the choice to go with Stevens Drywall was very easy. Sure enough they loaded all the drywall into the basement the first day, and this was on a 90 degree July day - had they stopped there on day one I would have been satisfied. Instead his guys began hanging the drywall, and 11 hours later they had hung all of it - including the heavy 5/8" on the ceiling! I was very impressed with their effort and speed. As the week progressed, they finished, sanded, and cleaned up. The floor was a mess, but that's to be expected to some degree. They also fixed the existing drywall in the stairwell that got a little banged up during loading. Now that I've primed and painted everything, I've gotten to see the quality of the finish that came with the speed and value, and I can tell you it is first rate! I would not hesitate to use Stevens Drywall again, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Bill was very prompt in returning my call. Came out within 24 hours and gave me the estimate and started the job one day later. He finished insulation and drywall not completed when the house was built. He and his crew did exactly what I asked to get the garage ready to paint. Very professional, cleaned up all remaining scraps, dust etc. Very pleased.

We contacted Bill Stevens about installing drywall to an 8 room addition on our home. We scheduled a time for him to come out and estimate the job. He was very prompt and courteous. He gave us an estimate, which we agreed on and we scheduled a start date. Bill let us know the materials would be delivered the day before they were to start. The delivery driver messed up an area in our gravel driveway, but Bill was able to fix it. Bill and his crew arrived as scheduled and were very careful bringing the materials in to the addition. We thought Bill and his crew were very personable and professional and kept us informed as to progress. He and his crew did an excellent job at a fair price and cleaned up all debris and swept each room. Even though the job is complete, Bill left his propane heater for us to use in the addition since the furnace has not been installed yet. He wanted to make sure that the textured ceiling dried properly since the temperature was supposed to drop during the evening . The job went well and we are very pleased with the results. Stevens Drywall has our vote of confidence and we would not hesitate in recommending their work.
