Description of Work: We needed four areas of our basement ceiling repaired where we moved light fixtures as part of a remodel project. I was able to send pictures and approximate sizes by text and received a quote over the phone. The work was scheduled within a couple of days. The work was completed within the expected time frame and we are very pleased with the results. We would definitely use again for other drywall repair needs.

They also improved some ceiling areas near can lights which didn't look very good from a kitchen remodel. Super price!

Description of Work: I had Bill Stevens come to look at the ceiling in our garage. He arrived on time, was polite and was reasonable to me and told me that he was possibly likely not able to match the ceiling just perfectly. I was appreciative of his honesty and was OK with this. However, we have a newly uncured epoxy floor in that garage that will chip and flake if he or his workers were not careful. He told me that he could not guarantee that he or his workers would not damage the expensive floor and that they did not have any protective barriers to lay over it. I told him that this was akin to a doctor who did not own a stethoscope or a lawyer who did not own a suite. He was insulted by this and was very put off by me right away- and he told me so to my face. I don't feel it is my job as a customer to make him satisfied with me but rather it is his job to ensure me that he or his worker will 1) be able to do the job satisfactorily and meet my expectations and 2) not damage my million dollar home. My only job or duty is to pay him. Unfortunately, not all contractors are created equal and it is for this reason we subscribe to Angie's List to weed through the wheat from the chaffe. I feel did not reassure me that he is competent, customer-service oriented, willing to meet my expectations and agreeable to constructive criticism. As a physician I do this for all of my patients so I am sure that a drywaller can do the same .

Description of Work: I called Bill Stevens to help me with a drywall repair that was needed as a result of a flood. I cannot express how grateful I was to have called this company. We were, and are still on a time crunch after having spent two months in a hotel. Not only was Bill prompt and responsive , his crew worked on Thanksgiving day to complete our repairs! If some of the other subs were as responsive and commited to helping we would most likely not be spending thanksgiving AND christmas in the hotel. Bill's pricing was fair , and he was happy to help us out by making quality referrals for other trades. I cannot emphasize enough how much it meant to us for he and his crew to work on a holiday at no extra cost, and having compassion for out situation. I give my most gratituious recommendation for this amazing company.

Description of Work: Repaired Kitchen ceiling and walls during kitchen remodel and re-textured ceiling. When soffits were torn out the ceiling had no dry wall. They installed the dry wall, repaired where old cabinets were and retexured entire ceiling in three days. They were timely, and cleaned up the job site before each night.
