+ -1 moreI paid for the whole year. They come out every 5-6 weeks. They do about ten treatments throughout the year. Obviously in the heat of the summer you don't want to treat so they gave the lawn a little break in that time. They come, they do their thing and they are out, it is really hassle free. We got a really good deal for our treatments. They are really responsive. He gave me his cell number so I don't have to call customer service.

Unfortunately, I prepaid for a years worth of service and in late spring, a technician over applied a lawn treatment that decimated my yard, killing a good portion of it (from too strong of a concentration). franchise owner responded and brought an expert with him, and they acknowledged their mistake. The only solution they suggested was a "reseeding" at no cost to be scheduled at a later date. I was not happy with being charged for the death of my lawn. I cancelled the service and requested a refund for the outstanding balance of my prepaid account (which I received). Took me two years to start getting my dead grass restored. For that reason, I would not use this service.

+ -1 moreI specifically requested last year that I didn't want anymore service. And they came today and did my lawn, even though I prepaid last year, and requested service to end last Oct (2013). I quickly went outside and spoke with the rep, explaining politely that I did not want service. He left, but took the bike lock that I had on my back gate (that keeps it closed)..No one had the code to it, expect them (and the two adults at the residence). I tried repeatedly to call the company to try and catch the driver to inform him of his mistake. And no one has called me back. I would not recommend them, unless you would prefer your property stolen. And the expense of this is more than the service I would pay to them. If my property is returned I would be happy to change my review.

+ 0 moreWe received a flyer in the mail and decided to give Spring Green a try. They came out within a week and started the fertilization/weed control on our lawn. We noticed a significant reduction in weeds within 10 days. Rick the owner comes out himself and is very friendly and professional. We also found out that they do pest control as well around the perimeter of the house. We had a very bad ant problem and they have gone down quite a bit. We still have a few coming into the kitchen and bathroom but not nearly the horrible problem that it was (I was convinced that the ants were taking over the world!) So overall we have been very pleased. We have a very large yard and I find the costs very reasonable

I have a core aeration lined up this week and have a scheduled fertilization/lawn treatment setup throughout the summer. He knows his stuff! He thoroughly explained each item in an informational manner explaining his recommendations rather than selling. Because of his responsiveness and great communication skills I signed up for the whole Summer. I look forward to letting a pro handle my lawn this Summer rather than battling it myself. It seems like hiring a pro is about the same price that I spent myself on equipment/fertilizer and over-watering last year!

He helped direct me toward a places to buy a treatment for nutsedge grass and for grass seed that I planned to use for overseeding, even though he offered those services.

I really like the quality of the product that they use. We have never went without having a green yard. I am really into landscaping and my yard. They were fantastic.

+ -1 moreAllen indicated that at one time they came and walked our yard and reapply fertilization. We were not at home and there was no documentation left at our door like they normally would do. We are not using thier service again this year. Allen's prices were reasonable, but this was a good example that cheaper is not better. We used Naturallawn at our previous home and were trying to save money since our yard is bigger at this home. Naturallawn is more expensive but they are eco friendly and their results were wonderful. There were a couple of times would we had to call Natuallawn for weeds and one time rodents. They came while we were there and walked our lawn with us to discuss the problems that we were having. I would Highly reccomend Naturallawn and stay away from Spring Green unless you like being frustrated with an unhealthy lawn!! We have started our service again with Naturallawn!
Description of Work: We used their service last year for our lawn. We were not happy with the results and called several times. Spring Green indicates that they warranty their service however if you indicate that you are not happy with the results they tell you to wait 2 weeks and call them back. Allen was punctionally about calling back, however.... we would wait 2 weeks and and they would send someone out again fertilize and charge us another $60.00. I had made several calls about the results of our lawn and each time was wait 2 weeks they would come back and reapply and charge us again. I am a little confused on where is the warranty or customer service that they indicate that they stand by.

+ -1 moreI don't recommend anyone to take his bait at all. Otherwise, he will be bigotry over you without your consent. Don't trust him. I have paid many services with our consent. That is the first time I have had experience. Don't trust the company or franchise or that guy.
Description of Work: The Spring-Green company sent me a quote for long-term of lawn fertilization. Apparently, someone from the company realized that he gave me a wrong quote because of a larger size than he thought. He went ahead with lawn fertilization on my yard and sent me a letter that the quote would be increased after the first fertilization. He did that without my consent. If he could not do lawn fertilization at the original quote, then he should not go ahead without my consent. I told him that I want all-or-nothing service. If I knew the quote would be increased, I would not want his lawn service at all. He still wanted me to pay him for the service without my consent. He continued sending me billing. I feel that he was acting as a bigotry over me. I had no idea if he actually did lawn fertilization. Unlike other fertilization companies, he didn't put any flag or warning. I mean nothing. I was wondering if he actually did lawn fertilization.
