Sparkle by Laura

Lara did not get back with us after she gave us an initial qoute. We had to call her and she did not remimber us or the quote.

She started out quite punctual, came & gave an estimate, then showed up with help to clean the first time. Although they did a good and thorough job cleaning, after a while I could not depend on them to show up. Weather, illness, vacations etc. She had a lot of employee issues after I started using her and apparently could not handle the workload. She gave very little notice when she couldn't show up (2 days before she was to clean she sends me a text that she'll be on vacation and I'll have to wait another 2 weeks). I personally don't think that is good service - my previous cleaning lady always gave me notice at her prior cleaning when she would not be available the next time. Then 2 weeks after that she sends another text and says she can't service my area any more. Sorry, they were pretty good cleaners but not reliable (only showed up about 50% of the time I used her). She never offered to try & come at a different time if they missed a cleaning. The people she had had big issues with turning off the alarm. They could never manage to turn off the alarm once correctly and even left my front door unlocked once. To return my key she had someone mail it and I never received it, so we had to change the locks. I lloked for a new service & went with The Personal Concierge. They have been great so far - reliable, on time, can turn off the alarm, do a great cleaning job.

They were able to come within a week and half after purchasing the deal. There were no additional fees beyond the prepaid cost of the deal and I think that price is good. I like that they are able to come in and able to get enough of the housecleaning done quickly instead of spending all day on the job. One crew member comes to complete the work and they provide their own products for the job. We are continuing to use their services for weekly housecleaning.

Great experience. Sparkle by Laura sent a great team over who worked hard, did a great job, and were very pleasant. We needed a deep clean on the majority of our house and Laura delivered what she promised.

My experience with her is good. She does a whole-house cleaning. I think she is good. She is reliable and shows up on time. She cleans well and uses one other girl that comes with her. A lot of times it is just that girl that comes and she is good too.

Great service. We used Angie's SnapFix app, and Sparkle by Laura was the cleaner that was suggested. She does great work, and SnapFix was great too.

We hired Sparkle by Laura a few months ago. We had one of her cleaners come every other week. At first, the cleaning service was very good. However, over time, it became apparent that items were not being cleaned. I took pictures and sent them to Laura. The initial cleaner admitted to not doing a proper job. Laura then replaced her with another lady, Ashley. Again, at first the cleaning service was good, however after a few weeks it seemed to slack off. I again took pictures and sent them to Laura. Laura said that she had never had complaints about her staff before and that since I didn't seem happy maybe we should go our separate ways. There is no disputing the photos. I then terminated the service.

Angie's List hooked us up with Laura through the new SnapFix mobile app, and she is great. She and her staff do an excellent job. We welcome them into our home every two weeks.

I contacted Laura in June while I was still living in Switzerland. I planned to move to Indianapolis at the end of June and already owned a condo in Indy which I would move into. Laura and I arranged to meet at my condo on July 2nd. She walked through my home and then we sat and talked about what I would like to have weekly. I liked her right away. We agreed she would start the weekly cleaning a couple of weeks later. Laura and April have been coming every Thursday since and they do a really great job. You always have an adjustment period when someone first starts cleaning your home, as you learn how they do things and they learn about you and your home. There was never a problem if I asked for something to be done differently, they immediately took care of it. They are conscientious, punctual and always considerate of me and my home. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent company to clean your home!

Laura always make sure that her girls are doing the job that they were hired to do. She works side by side with them while training them and then always double checks their work. April & Ashley cleaned yesterday and the house was immaculate! Love them!

The cleaning took roughly 8 hrs. She did a good job. No question about that. She was more expensive than I anticipated, but we made the decision to still hire her. The job was good. My only issue was the price.

We trust Laura and her staff to be in our home when we're not there and she is always very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Thank you Laura for taking a big chore off my plate so I can spend more time with my family!!

Laura was able to work around my busy schedule in finding time to come out and walk through my home for an estimate. She was very professional. Seems to understand what I am looking for. I do plan to use her service and will update my review once this happens. Update: The team has cleaned my house 3/4 times now. It has been wonderful to come home to a house that is clean. Nothing ever seems over looked or missed. I would definitely recommend this business.

She sent me pictures once she was done, and she did an excellent job. With nobody being there, she could have taken advantage of me, but she was very trustworthy. She did a good job without someone there to oversee her the whole time. She did what she had to do and that was it.

My father died unexpectedly and I invited my large family to my home for Dad's repast after services. I decided to call Sparkle by Laura after reviewing Angies List because I knew I would not be able to do a thorough cleaning before the event. Laura was able to come out to my home, give me an estimate and we discussed the areas I needed to have cleaned. Amazingly she was able to rework a few regular clients to accomodate my emergency situation and fit me in. She arrived with all her equipment ready to go with the help of one assistant. Sadly, the assistant had a death in her family and could only help clean till late morning. Laura continued cleaning all day by herself finally leaving in late afternoon. My husband and I were greatly impressed by her work, work ethic, and professionalism. My home did sparkle and I was very impressed with Laura and the service she provided.

They seem to be doing a nice job. They are prompt and thorough. Scheduling has been fairly easy.

Laura was very responsive to my scheduling needs, as we had a very tight timeframe between taking possession of our home and the movers arriving. She was able to squeeze us into her schedule, which I very much appreciated. She and her crew of two cleaners showed up on time and were polite and professional. They stayed late and clearly cared about being thorough. I felt they did a nice job, although were probably a little bit on the higher side of the price spectrum. However, they were good to work with and I'd use this service again if I need help in the future.

I moved to the Indianapolis area over a year ago, and have a 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom, 2-story house w/ a finished basement. I have been through numerous home cleaning services during that time. None of them cleaned my home to my satisfaction, until I found Sparkle by Laura. It's a huge plus to always have the same girls, Laura & Ashley, cleaning my house. With some of the larger cleaning companies, I seldom had the same cleaning crew, which meant inconsistency in the quality. Sparkle by Laura cleans my house every other week and I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work. I ask Laura to clean the main floor of my home & the Master Suite each time they come, and then alternate cleaning either the upstairs bedrooms or the basement. The high quality of their work is consistent every time... the quality of some other services diminished over time. Laura brings her own top notch cleaning supplies, which are the same supplies that I would use if I were cleaning my home. I work out of my home office, and I appreciate them cleaning my office when I am able to take a break, not insisting on cleaning it at their convenience. Laura & Ashley are always friendly, yet quiet enough that I can work while they are here. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have found Sparkle by Laura! As I told Laura after my second cleaning... she should rename her company "Miracle by Laura".

This is my third encounter with Sparkle by Laura. She is cleaning our home on a bi-weekly basis currently. She brings her own vacuum and supplies. She cleans with her daughter in law. The house is clean and smells good when she is finished Sparkle by Laura is our second try with a housekeeping service and they are so much better in comparison. The house really gets cleaned.

Laura is new for us as we switched from another cleaner. They did a nice job and are very professional and easy to work with.

Sparkle by Laura cleaned for my family for over 3 years and at 3 different locations. The quality of the service was absolutely outstanding. Laura and her team were always easy to communicate with and flexible in their time schedule. They were always prompt and professional. Pricing was reasonable and negotiated. Having used other cleaning services in the past, Sparkle by Laura was the best service we have ever had. We recently discontinued our relationship with Sparkle by Laura only because of changing family needs; we hired a full time housekeeper to accommodate growing family that would, in addition to doing other household tasks such as laundry, ironing, cooking and errands, clean for us. But we were sorry to see Sparkle by Laura go. I would recommend the service of Sparkle by Laura to anybody in search of a high quality, reasonably priced cleaning service.
