Description of Work: Tried the $149 deal. This seemed more like a "realtor tactic" to get in to do appraisal. Came for a prelim visit, quoted $550. Would give credit for $149 paid. Asked what she did for the $149 with $400 whole home. The answer was floors and dusting. Also a smug statement that I did not answer home phone when I asked to call cell due to disability. Got refund same day and used another Angie list vendor, paid $99 for 4 hours and they did a great job. Sparkle should not offer deals they can't deliver.

Description of Work: We heard from our neighbor about Laura and her cleaning company so we called her for a quote. She assessed our home and gave us a quote for weekly and bi-weekly service. We also got a quote for a deep clean. We elected to go with the deep clean, and we scheduled it about a week later. We understood it would only be one or two workers, which meant it would take almost a full day. | |Ashley arrived precisely on time. She was very courteous and quickly began work once she arrived. Laura arrived an hour or so later, which is what we were expecting. Ashley really worked h****** some kitchen stains. Together, they did a fine job. | |However, we had similar service from another local cleaning company about a year ago and felt the other company did a better job picking up, cleaning, scrubbing, and organizing. We were a bit surprised when Laura asked if someone was going to pick up the toys before they cleaned one particular room. Laura was about 15% more expensive, even after the 10% discount. | |Our house is clean and we are pleased; the work done is worth a solid B or B+. We appreciate the work they did, and saw Ashley scrubbing and working hard. We will probably call that other company next time for a lower price & more attention to detail (blankets folded, toys picked up, etc).

Description of Work: My daughter and son in law had just purchased a home and it was very, very dirty inside. I called Laura and she was able to schedule us within a week even though it was the July 4th week. A two person team came and cleaned the house from top to bottom. They were pleasant to deal with and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them for move-in or move-out services.

Description of Work: We had the living room, MA BA & guest BA, MA bedroom, eat-in kitchen area, and occasionally the spare bathrooms cleaned. It went relatively well, it just wasn't cleaned to our expectations compared to their first day of cleaning. On the first day, everything was dusted, couches vacuumed, rooms deep cleaned, items folded (blankets), and nicely stacked. After the first day, things dramatically tapered off. The cleaning was not the same. Only if specifically informed was something changed. However, our cleaning person "Ashley" is an incredibly wonderful and nice person. She was willing to please and easily fixed anything brought to her attention. Overall, the experience just didn't meet our expectations.

Description of Work: Laura & Amy arrived on time and started in immediately. The process that they used worked out very well for them. They seemed to have a system in place. Laura would double check things to be sure that they were clean. They did an excellent job and the whole house truly smelled clean and sparkled!

Description of Work: Laura did a "detail" clean on my entire house, which is over 7000 square feet. Although it took longer than she anticipated, they did an excellent job and it was worth every penny! My house was definitely sparkling! I have hired Sparkle by Laura to clean my house weekly.

Description of Work: Laura cleans my house each week. She vacuums, dusts (I have three cats), cleans the bathrooms, kitchen, and mops the floors. She charges $80.00 weekly for my 3-4 bedroom/3 1/2 bathroom house.

Description of Work: Weekly housecleaning of 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home (approx. 3,100 sq.ft)for the past 7 months. She cleans it in about 3.5 hours. Over the holidays, she had one helper that she brought in an effort to get to every clients house even though the holidays cut the week short.
