The company I bought the system from went out of business and there is no local representative in our area; therefore, I have been self-maintaining the system. About 6 years ago I bought a replacement aerator from SOS and installed it myself. I was now having an electrical problem because the wire coming into the underground housing has shorted out. The wire short was about 18 inches below the housing cap and probably impossible for me to reach. Brandon of SOS advised me of ways it might be fixed but I’d probably would have to hire an electrician to do it and that might be hard to find one that would do the job. I’ve since figured out how it can be fixed and will be doing it myself. I also wanted advice on which chlorine tablets to use and where I could get them as no one in Marion stocks them. Brandon sent me an email with information about the correct tablets and where I can order them on line. The chlorine tablets hang in a bottle in the sand filter vault and at my age it is getting too hard for me to lift the concrete cap to get to them. Brandon made some suggestions and I’ve found a 3/4” by 24” by24” PVC sheet that I can cut down to replace the concrete cap cutting the weight in half. When I asked Branden what I owe SOS for all of his advice and assistance he said “Nothing”, but I plan to send them a check anyway. In this day and age, it’s hard to find such helpful & dedicated businesses.

Our grinder pump to our lift station failed late on a Friday night, leaving us without any ability to use water in our home. Brad Helvey of SOS answered his phone when I called him on Sunday and was very responsive. He was out the next day (Monday) to provide an estimate and returned on Tuesday to do all of the work. He would have done it Monday but for some prior commitments in Northern Indiana. He replaced our failed Hydromatic pump with a reverse grinding Zoeller pump, including the control box. He also did a complete replacement of our rusted and rotted plumbing within the lift station. The replacement piping was all stainless steel so it will never rust or rot away again. He was very professional and responsive. We hope our system has no further issues for a long time. But if it does, Brad and SOS will be my first call!!

I was very impressed - they were much more reasonable than the other quote we received. They understood the necessity to get the job fixed quickly and were very timely.
