Description of Work: We had water damage from a broken pipe. ServPro came out promptly and cleaned up the standing water,moved furniture and set up drying equipment. The water was gone, no odor left, and returned when promised to evaluate the damage and remove their equipment. The technicians were friendly, polite and respectful of our property. I was,of course, overwhelmed by the damage and what to do. The technicians were so understanding and repeated information till I understood. Beverly, in the office was so nice also and quickly gave me additional information my insurance agent requested.

Description of Work: My home basement flooded due to a sewage backup on a Friday while I was at work. When I arrived home, I discovered the mess. My entire basement, which was finished, was destroyed. I called State Farm and the recommended Servpro. I contacted Servpro and the came to my house on Saturday morning. They first needed to remove all of the contaminated stuff from my basement. At my request, they went to Lowe's and bought plastic and tarps to protect my upstairs carpet while the worked. Otherwise, my carpet would have been destroyed and needed replacement. The carpet in my basement was removed and carried out for disposal. They had to remove all of my furniture, which was no easy task. I actually felt bad for the guys doing the work, because it was wet and heavy and covered with raw sewage. The piled anything of value in my garage so that the insurance adjuster could see it before it was hauled away. In the meantime, I was taking photos and inventorying things for insurance purposes. After the insurance adjuster saw my ruined furniture, Servpro came back and removed the furniture. They had to remove drywall and cleaned my basement with a power washer. They then placed fans to dry it out, which took several days and was very loud. Servpro wanted to do the reconstruction. I was not sure who I wanted to use for reconstruction. My wife was tricked into signing a paper that said Servpro would do the reconstruction. When I heard about this, I asked to see the form, which they handed to me, and I destroyed it. I did not have Servpro do the reconstruction. I also was not completely satisfied with the cleaning of the floors. I spend the next two weeks, after they were done, cleaning more. For cleaning purposes, I would use them again.

Description of Work: Brought in heavy duty fans for a wood paneled ceiling. They checked multiple times, because it's a not a ceiling that can be easily replaced. We had a commode overflow directly into an air vent, and all the water dumped through the vent which goes over the wood paneled ceiling.

Description of Work: THEY PUT UP FANS TO DRY OUT WALLS, FLOORING.

Description of Work: THEY DEALT WITH WATER DAMAGE IN OUR UPSTAIRS BATHROOM FROM A FLOODED TOILET. THEY DRIED THE AREA OUT AND PULLED UP THE OLD FLOORING AND TESTED TO SEE IF THERE WAS ANY MOLD DAMAGE. THEY COORDINATED A PAINTER TO COME OUT, TOO.

Description of Work: WATER EXTRACTION AND DRYING FOR BASEMENT CAUSED BY BURST WATER HEATER AND MALFUNCTIONING SUMP PUMP.

Description of Work: HE CAME OUT ON A MONDAY TO LOOK AT THE WORK I NEEDED DONE (SEWER BACK-UP HAD LEFT A THIN LAYER OF MUD ON BASEMENT FLOOR) AND WOULDN'T GIVE ME AN ORAL ESTIMATE BUT SAID AN ESTIMATE WOULD BE MAILED. WHEN I DIDN'T RECEIVE ONE BY THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY I CALLED AND WAS TOLD HE HAD LEFT THAT DAY FOR VACATION WITHOUT PREPARING AN ESTIMATE.

Description of Work: WATER LINE BROKE IN MY LAUNDRY ROOM FLOODING MY LAUNDRY ROOM, LIVING ROOM, KITCHEN, AND ENTRY WAY. THE WATER ALSO COLLAPSED THE HEATING DUCTS IN THE CRAWLSPACE. REPLACED CARPET IN LIVING ROOM, REPLACED/REPAIRED DUCTS IN CRAWL. REPLACED FLOOR IN LAUNDRY ROOM. WERE ON-SITE IN 45 MINUTES FROM THE TIME I CALLED THEM WITH FANS, DEHUMIDIFIERS, AND HEPA AIR SCRUBBERS. ALSO DRIED OUT THE CRAWLSPACE.

Description of Work: I HAD AN EXTREMELY BAD SEWER BACKUP IN MY BASEMENT. MY INSURANCE COMPANY CALLED SERVPRO AROUND 3:00. THE REPRESENTATIVE ARRIVED AROUND 6:00, AND STAYED UNTIL THE ENTIRE BASEMENT HAD BEEN SUCTIONED OUT AND CLEANED WITH ANTI-BACTERIAL SPRAY. HE RETURNED 3 DAYS LATER TO GET HIS FANS AND HE WIPED THE BASEMENT DOWN AGAIN WITH THE ANTI-BACTERIAL SPRAY.
