+ -1 moreI had a new house built about 2 years ago. At the time, my front yard was sodded but my back and sides yards were seeded. I had no experience with taking care of sod or getting seed to sprout and flourish. I attempted to take care of my lawn for about a year by myself but was always struggling with the front yard being dried out and the back and side grass being patchy and weed ridden. Then, my lawn mower died. I'm a single Mom so mowing my grass had always been rather difficult for me to get around to. As an alternative to buying a new lawn mower, I decided to get three mowing quotes from companies on Angie's List. Jay was the first of two respondents and had the best price. When Jay came out to discuss the service that I needed, I asked for his recommendation on mowing and maintaining my lawn. He referred me to a friend of his who does lawn treatments and recommended that I also aerate. I was hesitant to invest in my lawn because I wasn't certain that anything would help but I took Jay's recommendation. I'm so glad I did. My yard is 100% better then when Jay first arrived. Thanks Jay!!! :)

+ -1 moreJay is prompt and courteous. Of the 6 - 8 companies I contacted, Jay was one of only two who called me back. And, he was the first to provide me with an estimate.
Description of Work: Jay mowed, aerated and over-seeded my yard about 2 weeks ago. So far everything looks good. I've got grass growing instead of weeds and my neighbors are a lot happier now that my yard is getting mowed more frequently.
