Description of Work: We were lead to believe that he was doing the work, it wasn't he subs it out. and then I referred him to a lady at work that is 85 years old, he took her money and ran. He didn't do anything to her home and ran with all of her money.

+ -1 moreNot everyone repairs older typewriters. This typewriter was top of the line in it's day, so very much worth repairing. Mr. Lane picked up the typewriter from the office where I work, repaired it and brought it back, all within 2 or 3 days. He doesn't often pick up or deliver but he said I was on his way. There was no extra charge for this. He gave me a lot of pertinent information about the typewriter, for which I am thankful. When I ordered additional tapes and print wheel, he delivered them as well and his prices for these were cheaper than other internet sites I had shopped. I am verrrrryy pleased with Mr. Lane's service/skill, prices, sharing information and the whole transaction.
Description of Work: Repaired old IBM Typewriter Cleaned and serviced it, in general Got some spare ribbons & tapes

+ 0 moreRick did a nice job for us but it's hard to get ahold of him,
Description of Work: They did a nice job on my house, but I recamented him to 84 year old woman and he took half of her money and she has not heard from him since. we have try everything to find him and no luck yet, If you know his new numbers, he used several differ cell number. Please let me know I really would like to get this lady's money back so she can get her roof fixed. Just as soon as she finds her cancel check, we'll turn it over the the prosector.
