We had another company come on a Sunday and they didn't have availability until Monday so we did not use them. However, they were upfront with their pricing, professional, answered immediately and sent us an email with the bio of the technician that would be coming (prior to us canceling). When we called and said that we found someone who could come on a Sunday, Amanda who answered was very professional and nice. I was very impressed and will call them again when we need a repair.

They sold the Brooklyn Bridge. They would not take the coupon. Told me work not really needed must be done. Replaced the door springs when not needed.

Nick was our service guy and he was fantastic. He showed up in the time window I was told. He called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. He was very friendly and personable and did outstanding work. This is the second time I have used Precision for a new garage door opener and I would recommend them to anyone.

Vladimir called about 30 minutes before he arrived to let us know he was on his way. He inspected our garage door and explained to us what was needed to fix it and what our different options were. After he answered all of my questions professionally and without any hesitation. I went with his suggestion. He was very professional and polite.

It went extremely well. Precision Garage Doors were able to schedule a service call the next day after I called. Andrew who serviced the door was on time and did an excellent job of reprogramming all of the devices to work. He also inspected and lubricated the door and installed a stronger plate on the door where the opener attaching to the garage door. He was very knowledgeable and thorough.

Nick Z. came out and, of course, our garage door worked fine when he tried it! But he was thorough enough to try it several times, and stick around--oiling things and checking out the springs and various parts. When he tried raising and lowering the door one last time before taking off, he discovered the problem. It was a simple fix, and not only was this company the best-priced service call, the labor and parts were very reasonable to fix our garage door. Nick Z. was very prompt-he called me on my cell phone to say he was on his way and would be there in 15 minutes, and was there in less than that! Very polite, knowledgeable, and personable. Provided great work, and great customer service. I will use and recommend this company again and again!

what started out as a $220 repair jumped up to $620. when i looked at the parts when i got home my opinion is that they were not too bad. the ball bearings were very low on grease. i would have injected them with new grease and they would have been ok. the cable drums were only slightly worn. the door rollers were ok also. i am a licensed aircraft mechanic. i visited with a manager at their home office. he wanted to keep me happy. he agreed with his mechanic but also agreed that the replaced parts were not some of the worst ever seen. he asked me how much i wanted. i really wish that the mechanic would have given me an accurate assessment. i asked for $200. he gave it to me. had i been able to inspect the parts, i would have saved $400

I have very mixed reviews. He supposedly fixed the garage door at first then it burnt out again and he came back and said it was first the circuit board and that was $300 then that burnt out then he came back and said it was my panel. He said a breaker needed to be replaced, there was too much juice being sent out to the garage. I have lived here for nine years and never had a problem. He had to put another circuit board in he said and fixed the breaker, put in a new breaker and it was another $300. Out of ignorance I will give him a B, I have to believe what I was being told. I thought his prices were outrageous. The fact that he had to come back a second time made me puzzled. He was certainly eager to get more money. He was slick. He's a very nice man and congenial and more than happy to do extra work for you.

Advice via phone call - to check out items before having them come out and service unit -- worked and therefore no service call was required. Appreciate Precision Door's integrity and willing to answer questions When I need a service call - I will definitely use them and trust their integrity

2 new springs and 2 new cables $264.58. I chose Precision based on rating and the fact that they do not charge a service call on top of the work performed. They do charge a $15 fuel surcharge that I was not told about when I made the appointment, but the bottom line was less than we would have spent with our usual garage door service company for just 1 spring and no cables, so I'm not complaining. Would recommend they tell customers about that fuel charge when scheduling service.

The technician was on time, explained the options and cost and had all the equipment and materials he needed with him to do the repair. It took about an hour and I have not had any issues with quality of the part or workmanship. I would hire them again.

Aaron, the gentleman who did the work, was very knowledgeable and showed me the problems he found and explained his concerns. I felt very comfortable relying on his suggestions. He ended up replacing the springs and a couple other parts which were clearly worn. He found no issue with the opener itself. My garage door is now opening and closing smoothly and quietly. I am completely satisfied with the work he did and I recommend Precision Door to anyone having issues with their garage door.
