Precision Garage Door Service of Indianapolis

Work was completed in a professional manor. It was necessary for a second visit the next day to install the appropriate bottom rubber weather seal.

Corey was very professional. He explained the problems and solutions to me in an easy to understand way. I feel like he was looking out for my interests.

Corey was great! He called to let us know he was running behind, but was still there within 15 minutes of the original time estimated. He did a great job explaining everything. He was very professional and even helped us program a remote opener we already owned. I did not compare prices, but had a coupon.

After an unsatisfactory experience with another contractor. Precision performed well and timely.

Office was thorough with scheduling and follow-up reminder calls, technician arrived when expected, completely checked and did repairs on both doors. Things were explained and options given. They did not have the keypad that was needed to replace the older model that I had, but they gave me a discount on the newer model that I needed.

I called and scheduled. I promptly received an email confirmation along with name / picture of my technician. He was on time and did a clean job.

Josh was kind enough to offer changing the rollers out along with the keyless entry pad for an additional $37. He also showed me some upcoming maintenance items that would be needed, but indicated I could wait until the fall. He was prompt, professional and friendly. I will be scheduling a fall appointment to follow up on the items indicated by Josh.

Precision garage door arrived when scheduled and installed a new insulated garage door. They did a great job!

We had a broken spring, and was quoted $145 to replce it. Based on the age of the hardware, they recommended replacing the second spring for an additional $65. Once the assembly was removed, it was discivered that the bearing housings were leaking and could bind up over time. Bearings were replaced at material cost only with no additional labor cost.

Josh and his associate were great! They were on time and very straight forward about required and recommended repairs. They went right to work and updated me along the way. They were very personable and professional.

The service man was there before I home but he was kind enough to wait. My purchase was a big deal for roller replacement or a new keypad. I went with roller replacement. He replaced the rollers At first I did not think it was a quieter opening but have noticed since that the new rolers indeed make it much quieter upon opening and closing. When he was replacing the rollers he said the bearings were worn. When buying A BIG DEAL I am concerned it may lead to additional costs. I believe my bearings were worn and needed to be replaced. I do not know if the cost was fare. I believe it was. I am very satisfied with the work that was done.

THe need for new springs for both doors was explained to me. I decided to wait to replace them. I was surprised at the high cost: $315.00 for each door for the better quality ones. Will call Precision Garage Door Service when ready to replace them.

Precision door came out Monday (5/20/13) to repair garage door. Did complete rebuild of hardware. Less than 6 days later (Saturday, 5/25/13) I couldn't even get the door to shut manually. I called and they want to charge me a $140 for an emergency service. I don't feel I would be in this "emergency" service if you they have done the job right the first time. Now I have to wait until Sunday to get my door looked at. It will be open overnight because Precision doesn't stand by their product or service. UPDATE (5/26/13) - Technician came out today and fixed problem the first technician made. I was informed that call center took my call last night and that they probably should have sent someone out. Especially knowing now that the first technician didn't fix door right. I did give them an F but upgraded to C since the other technician made it right today. The technician out today was professional and courteous. It's still a shame that I had to keep a garage door open throughout the night because of a mistake made earlier in the week.

Corey did a great job. He took the time to explain what was wrong and on different options for fixing it. He was very professional, washed quickly and the garage door works flawlessly now.

They did a great job. I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for an inspection and roller replacement, but the technician found that we were in need of a new spring and all hardware as the garage was in danger of collapsing. He completed all of that in just a short amount of time.

I got the Angies list big deal for the tune up. Bought a new house and the garage door seemed like it needed a little adjusting. The technician was knowledgeable and I went with most recommendations. It is important to note that it was recommended to replace everything and I really felt like the deal is more a less an opportunity to get a sales person onsite to up-sale you on more product. Just a word to the wise, the technician/salesperson use basic sales techniques. I gave a C on price because the $160 (retail without installation) for garage rollers is unrealistic in my humble opinion.

This was a excellent experience from purchase forward. I had issues getting the deal purchased on the Angie's List Website but that had nothing to do with the provider. I purchased a Big Deal Offer on a Saturday. On Monday morning I received a call from Precision thanking me for my purchase and asking when I wanted to schedule the service. She stated they could even do the service that afternoon! Unfortunately that wasn't possible and as soon as I mentioned that I work she mentioned they had Saturday appointments. I asked if May 18th was available and it was. She efficiently asked me a few questions about my door and opener and if I preferred new rollers or a wireless opener. She confirmed the appointment day/time, my contact information. It took less than 5 minutes, and I felt great! Wonderful customer service!! Oh, and I got a confirmation email too. Then the day before the appointment I got a courtesy reminder call and email as well and it told me what service rep would be doing the work. Then the service rep called on his way to my place letting me he will be there in 15 minutes. The service reps, Josh and Andrew were very friendly and professional and knowledgeable. Josh explained what they would be doing and asked me if I had any questions. I did and he answered them completely even giving me a quote for the track and rubber replacement at the bottom of the door. After doing the Big Deal Offer work, he explained to me some things to watch for and if/when I had to replace things, what to ask for, etc. Never did he pressure me to do or buy anything else. I decided to do the track/rubber replacement and so they took care of that as well. They kept the area very clean and even took my old track to dispose of. Then Josh prepared the bill/receipt, etc. and went over it with me and thanked me for my business. Overall, at all touch points with Precision the experience was top notch. They are a great model for how a customer would like the service experience to be. I will use them again and recommend them to others as well. Precision -- this was well done!!!

We purchased a Big Deal Coupon. Precision Door was very responsive in setting up the appointment and answering questions. Josh, the technician arrived on time and completed the job. Unfortunately, there were a variety of unexpected problems due in part to the age of our garage door and controller. Josh and Precision Door came out multiple times to our house, they followed up with the manufacturer and stuck with the job until we were satisfied. It is easy to provide great customer service when a job goes smoothly -- when unexpected problems arise it is much more difficult. We recieved excellent service even though this turned out to be a touch job. Thank you!

I called approximately 8 in the morning and they were able to schedule me for later in the afternoon. They gave me a timeframe, and called to let me know they were on the way. When Jeff came, he looked at the damage and gave me an immediate quote to fix the issue. He also shared his observations as to why it happened and how it could be prevented in the future. The cost was more than I wanted, but he patiently answered my questions and did showed me on the door what he was talking about. This made a big difference for me, and I agreed to have the work done. In the end, I received a lifetime warranty on the springs, while also replacing the broken piece, the ball bearing, drums and rollers. Jeff's patience and willingness to answer questions made all the difference in my willingness to have the additional work performed. It was more than I wanted to spend, but I feel much more comfortable with the decision and confident that I will not have issues for a long while. If I have work needed for my garage door or a friend/family needs some work done, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Precision and specifically Jeff.

Great job, the technician went right to work. He replaced all items in a minimal amount of time, very professional. Garage door operates like a new one.

Was able to make an appointment for same day service and was given a 2 hour window for service. As requested the technician called before coming out to the house. He repaired the broken spring on the garage door and got it working in no time. When I called for an appointment I was quoted a price for repair. When the technician came out he explained that this price was not for the premium springs which came with a lifetime warranty and educated me on the price of the upgrade. Also after inspecting the door he also informed me of approximately $700 worth of repairs that were recommended. I declined all of the extra services and he was professional about my decision and fixed the garage door per my request. While they did a fine job fixing the issue I called for, it felt a bit as if I was being nickeled and dimed in an effort to upsell me.

We are extremely happy with the work that Eric and Andrew performed. They were extremely professional throughout the process. Eric was happy to explain his work every step of the way so that I could, in turn, advise my husband on the process later that evening.
